It's mostly the police unions, not the supervisors, that make it really hard to investigate and punish bad cops. Reform the unions and a large chunk of the problem will resolve itself. We also need to put more funding into hiring and training. This idea that we can just redirect funding to social workers and that will solve the issue is retarded, especially in places with high levels of crime and gang activity.

And men arent judged by their looks? Women value stability and character more than looks. It's because of an evolutionary imperative hardwired into all of us that is not so easily socially engineered out of people. Same reason men value looks. Biologically speaking, men will subconsciously look for women who send signals of health and fertility and women look for men who send signals of strength and stability. I get that this has been diluted by modern ideas of feminism but ultimately those inst…

Yeah but a woman's worth is very much tied to her looks in our society. If she wastes time just selling nudes and not enriching herself through building a real career, pretty soon those looks will fade and she'll just be a miserable and lonely older woman who no man would want to stay with long term due to her choices and nasty attitude. The guy will finish his education, focus on his career and still remain desirable into old age because men's worth is tied to money, stability and status. There…

A lot of people in this sub just have a hate boner for women.

Yeah but same happens to white people as well, it's just not really publicized.

We're at least moving in that direction. Women are relatively new to being in the workforce at the numbers we have now, and it wasn't so long ago that it was completely expected for her to be a SAHM once she got married and had children. It takes time for society to catch up to these changes and while businesses have been dragging their feet, we're definitely starting to see some progress in this area. I don't think it's reasonable to expect small businesses to be able to provide these things th…

Things like legislated payed maternity/paternity leave that exist in most western countries. Mandated sick days, work/life reconciliation, etc. Go a long way to open up fields that are not traditionally female and recruit talent. I'm curious what you would think if I told you that countries that have all of these programs and protections in place, still see a similar divide between women still chosing to take lower paying, but more traditionally female dominated positions and that the earnings g…

affordable childcare and paternity leave don't exist. Affordable childcare that is subsidized by the government for low income people does exist, and some places do have paternity leave as well. I think many women wouldn't want their children to be raised by strangers. Forcing both parents to work to be able to provide has only been bad for women.

they're forced by biology to do a certain duty, i.e. childbirth. But no one is forcing women to have children. Most of the reasons for the wage gap are just biology and innate preferences. A woman can fight against that and be just as successful as any man. Even with places with the most equal culture amongst the genders, women still chose to go into positions that generally don't pay as much. Are you saying that we should legislate for all jobs to pay equally, or for women to be paid a living w…

This was started by a guy originally and was posted on r/tinder. It's just a game to pass the time during coronavirus lockdown. Calm down people.

Well you're right, I'm not in the market anymore but I wouldn't find it hard to find men to date if I needed to go that route right now, perhaps this will be different when I actually hit 40 (pretty soon) and for sure it was much different like 10 years ago than it is today. It's not like I am unable to have children, but I am unwilling to have any more at my age anyway, this has been somewhat of an issue in my current ltr. I realize that a lot of men prefer younger women, but I come across youn…

So in order to participate in this sub I have to believe that women aren't valuable when they're older? I guess, as a late 30s female I am not welcome here and should unsubscribe right?

I meat misogyny because you automatically assume that an older women is low value, which is not true. Not everyone wants biological children, there is value in adoption or situations where you might already have had a child in a previous relationship that just didn't work out.

Lol you sound like an edgy, nihilistic teenager. I hear ya, I've been there but that is life. No one asks to be born and have to suffer and die but humanity wouldn't exist if people just stopped having kids. Maybe that sounds like a good thing to you but when you get out of that phase you will find your meaning and appreciation for life.

So you arrest, imprison and/or fine anyone who procreates without the state's consent? That's some sick shit.
/r/PussyPassDenied05/11/19 03:11 AM

Ok smart guy, how would something like this be enforced? All it takes to procreate is two people of the opposite sex, you would have to have a mechanism to stop people from having sex or forced birth control for everyone.

I would suppose a system like this would favor the rich and presumably keep lower income people from being able to have kids. It's a pretty dystopian thing to advocate for the government to be able to dictate who can and cannot reproduce, it's coming close to eugenics.

So cops should just let you go with no consequences if you refuse to comply with a law? You don't think we should have laws?

This sub is such bullshit. It sounds to me like you guys are just going for extremely shallow women or maybe many don't have direct experience with an adult serious relationship. Sorry, but there are plenty of us out there that do not think this way. Maybe you should be looking for your partner more by personality vs just appearance and you'd have better results.

It must drive you crazy to know that he's (probably) your president. I, on the other hand, am thoroughly enjoying watching him shake this shit show up.

Or, and I know this might be an extreme idea to some, meet a girl whom you like and connect with and build some sort of friendship before trying to have sex? The chace that she will turn on you and call it rape is pretty damn low if you treat her like a friend and get to know her first.

I mean I had my suspicions but most of the comments here dont seem all that "incely". Just a bunch of men annoyed with the shit women can get away with sometimes.

She was being obnoxious by ignoring the cop telling her to step back but I don't see why he had to shove her so damn hard. A simple push back probably would have sufficed.

This is horrifying. I'm against the death penalty but would reconsider my position just for this case. Even with life in prison this monster got off too easy. I hope her time in prison is made as unpleasant as possible. She didnt have to take this baby home, could have left it at the hospital or dropped it off at a fire station. Put it up for adoption. What a completely soulless piece of shit.

Right but she feels no remorse and sees nothing wrong with what she did. She said that she is weak for leaving ISIS and was ok with the beheadings that they do. This one deserves no sympathy.
