She was 17, she was drunk, no one is arguing they didn't have sex with her, how is this not textbook statuary rape? Normally I agree with everything here, but this one is a miss.

Whatever happened to "Believe the victims"? Or does it not matter the moment they come from Pakistan?

I mean, the UK literally had police officers delivering 13 year old girls to Pakistani rapists and saying "Have fun with her". That's a direct quote from the Fiona testimony in the report by the way. I wouldn't be surprised if it's spread.

Well yeah. There's a billion guys in India who're willing to work for a penny a day. Americans are way more expensive. In the 90s movie office space, the mc worked for less than 30k as a software dev. That's the salary you should target if you want to compete!

Yeah, this isn't a gender issue, it's a framing issue. Heck, I bet women are more likely to use the text based AIs than men are. The real problem, imo, is the "touch grass" factor. Sure, play around with AI, but you need real friends, even if you aren't getting laid.

Personally, I can't stand to use wikipedia for anything other than technical articles, and even then I can usually find a better source. Did you know that most of their funding goes to other charities? It doesn't go to wikipedia! Their servers are funded for a long time. At one point it was a good idea, but now, it's not.

Well the average woman (and men too) is overweight. Might be a factor.

There's a few hobbies that are free of it. I've met like one woman into model trains versus thousands of men, and I'm sure there's more hobbies like that out there.

That's a good period, very popular. I don't know where you're based out of, but if you're in a major city, I bet there's clubs that fit you, I'd join them. And if you feel like it, there's probably an annual train show, or multiple. All sorts of ways to meet people in the hobby. Once you dumped her of course.

Divorce her, keep the trains. Also, what scale and what era? I'm into On30 myself, turn of the century backwoods nonsense, lumber and mining mostly.

And giving Aid to more than 180 countries. And it's a lot of aid. We give Jordan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Nigeria more than a billion dollars each. Why? I could think of a lot of uses for over 68 billion dollars that doesn't involve giving money to China's military. Like Amtrak or Nasa.

Not paying taxes is how they got Al Capone. The IRS does not play around. Uncle Sam will get his cut. Do not fuck with them.

And this shit is why I'm against abortions. Like jesus fuck that's evil.

It is. It's just bad for everyone, from the dalits to the brahmin to everyone in between. Everything sucks.

Women are not powerless. Women can use protection. Yeah, we all know the system is not fair. That’s why we have to be smart about how we move. The kid is here now so the father and mother must take care of him. That's just a standard anti-abortion argument.

Imo, we shouldn't be importing them, but we need the cheap labor to suppress wages and keep the workers divided, so that's not going to stop. Even Brexit didn't stop it. So next best thing is attempt to teach them not to be evil. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Well that particular culture actually treat women like objects. It's pretty disgusting. These lessons should be taught to those from that culture, but perhaps not to the natives. We don't need anymore honor killings.

Plus there's been actual studies that show that military squads become less effective when there's a woman in the mix, even when she's just as good as the men. And most military members are men, by a large margin. From an effectiveness standpoint, better to just keep it male-only. It sucks, but I wouldn't add women to the draft. If I could, I'd get rid of the draft all together.

I'm not sure they're women. Feels like a bunch of teenage boys larping

Yes, that's why pretty much every range requires hearing protection and will rent you hearing protection. (I've been to quite a few, never found one that didn't require them and rent them) If you've actually been to "many, many gun ranges", I find it hard to believe that you've never come across that.

You've never actually been to a gun range, have you?

Bro, how many gun owners are going to indoor ranges regularly? Most dudes I know use the outdoor ranges. The indoor ones are more for tourists.

I mean, kinda? The Republicans are also pushing gun rights when basically no one else in the west is. And besides free speech, I'd say that's the most important right of all. There's nuance in there, that's what I'm saying.

Plenty of docs. Basically, day 1, not much. Week 2, power plants and everything else goes poof. Month 2, lots of dead people due to lack of food and other essentials. Year 2, most of the women left dead.

A lot of women don't bother figuring out what makes them orgasm. Why would they bother learning about men's bodies when they don't figure out their own?

Any small town. Personally, the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad in Chama NM is looking for people to help run their steam trains. Small town, everyone knows each other. It's a good place for a single dude without big bills.

Really? I didn't know Epstein ran the women-only Al-Hawl refugee camp too! Fuck off with your whataboutism.

It's pedantic, but I'd argue that culture is always changing, and thus yes. The black community (it's not a monolith) is culturally different today than it was a few decades ago. Hell, we only elected Obama in 2008, and that was a big impact.

No, but I own guns. Semi-automatics with standard capacity magazines that dems explicitly want to pass laws against. They aren't hiding it either, it's part of their platform. Now, why would the dems want to disarm the masses? Could be good things? Has a politician ever done a good thing? Or is extremely obvious and going to be a repeat of Australia, the UK, and Canada?

At least they aren't actively trying to destroy the working class. Better for some not to give a damn about you then someone who really wants to see you fail.

Mate, you asked me about it. I didn't bring it up. Normally, I just lurk here.

No that's a strawman. A indian software dev makes anywhere from ~$15k to ~$50k a year. They aren't paid much, even after they H1b over here. An American software dev makes anywhere from 50k to 150k plus. The companies abuse H1b to suppress wages. It's not just a software problem either, look at the trucking industry. Or construction. Or any non-management work really. Immigration is about suppressing wages, and the left loves suppressing wages and keeping the working class down.

Not really, not to the same extent. There's asshats on the right to be sure, but at least they aren't saying shit like "toxic masculinity" or blaming all their problems on "the patriarchy" when it's really the rich vs the poor. Or in the case of American politics, trying to disarm minorities or undercut domestic labor by importing cheap foreign labor, which isn't gender specific, but still.

Ngl, am right winger who lurks here. This shit is exactly the sort of reason why I don't trust lefties. The left is filled with misandry. Makes you doubt everything the left says.

The fear mongering aimed at women is extremely toxic. It's basically the manosphere but aimed at women and in reverse.

Imo, the problem is that "left-wing" and "right-wing" are completely inadequate as terms. Does left-wing mean communism? Or does it mean LGBTQ? Or both? Or some third thing? It's always unclear.

Yeah, that was the actual issue. There was a couple of guys who thought she was too buff for the apocalypse, and should be skinny, but that was never the real issue. I'm still peeved by the dog scene, such blatant and poorly handled emotional manipulation. They could've done it better

There's also this black woman voice actor named Debra Wilson. She has large eyes. But in Star Wars Fallen Order (and iirc, a lot of other games, but I just can't recall their names), they modified her face to make extremely bug eyed. Her eyes look like they're about to fall out. They call it "realistic". Definitely not the biggest issue, but it's still pretty weird how they intentionally made her character ugly.

I joined a model railroad club. It's 100% male, (we don't exclude women, women just aren't into model trains. Go figure) I feel like I belong, and I'm picking up various skills and helping build out the layout and trains as I go along. Wiring, painting, programming decoders, weathering, wood working, that sort of thing.

"Kill yourself" counts as a death threat? Isn't that just telling to you commit suicide? It's not like they're actually saying I'm going to kill you. I dunno if it counts, but that's kinda getting into pedantics.

They say that, but most migrants to western countries seem to be male, or at least when I looked at the stats for America, France, and the UK. Dunno about worldwide.

I think part of it is some have only seen bears in zoos and cutesy internet videos, and don't realize just how dangerous bears are. Especially one that you can see.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
