I live in a large urban city as well and will pay for the first date and then 50/50. I would never not eat just so I could take a girl out. If it ever came to that I’d just not date. Of course, right now I have no job and the girls I’ve been dating have been pretty cool about splitting. They never insist I pay. Must be an LA thing and you should bring it up if this happens. A girl should never expect a guy to always pay, regardless of how much either one of them makes.

I’m sorry she’s specifically comparing herself to other women because she herself is a WOMAN. If she’d said, abused men cannot compare themselves to an abused woman, I would agree. This comment seems fine.

This. I just joined this sub and am noticing this agro angry mentality from a lot of members. One guy is attacking some girl that’s got receipts on what her ex posted about her here is lies. Her posts are legit and she posted a bunch of links to court stuff and he just keeps attacking her and calling her a liar making me super confused.
