Moved to Sweden in the summer. Girls are prettier here but also more annoying. Even though they kept bars open until recently, it was illegal to talk to anyone not at your table. I've gotten escorted out of the bar twice because I was talking to chicks at some other table. Absolute shit law for running night game, and Swedes are white knight af. There'll be time for daygame later. Only a few hours of sunlight right now, spring will come

I meet these people socially and add them on social media or whatever. i'd ask them out in person if these weren't all group settings. I recall one post or something saying it's never smart to leave it in the hands of a woman to make plans and follow up with you. She was at some other event later and was all about me then even if she never responded via text. Decided it wasn't worth continuing there or engaging. I'll check out the book though, thanks.

See, that is a question I am wondering. I think the easy answer is to just say "SMV is not high enough, go lift and earn more money until you get better results." But I have applied the self-improvement mantras. I have achieved a lot in my early adulthood (thanks in large part to monk mode and RP). But if I have problems, and the answer is just more, more, more, maybe I should stop and ask if something else might not be the problem? Instead of deepening the rut by pushing harder into the SMV rat…

Depends on the situation but it's usually when I invite them to do something. I'm pretty sure I err too much on the other side. I do almost no lead up and just say Hey do you want to go to X with me this weekend. Perhaps it's too blunt, but I don't like wasting time texting. One chick said she would love to but was too stressed with mid-terms. I realize my mistake in retrospect, but I just said she could text me later when she wanted to do something fun. I certainly am an overthinker. Probably s…

This resonates with me. On one level I believe only a weak man blames his circumstances so I do not rationalize circumstances as excuses. But with covid it's such a shot hand (and deck) right now. The monk mode can continue. No harm in that I suppose, but I would prefer to practice game.

That is a helpful distinction I had not considered before. I started with RP without having the PUA experience beforehand. Based on my results, I can only assume my game sucks right now. I've read the books, but with monk mode wasn't practicing it. I should try to make the most of quarantine winter to see if I can change that.

And as always with RP, the worms crawl out of the woodwork. Keep the advice coming, champ.

They do regularly get laid by chads. And there are plenty of couples of every tier of attractiveness. General trends don't necessitate that anyone under 8/10 is a virgin for life. I see guys less attractive than me with cute chicks. And I see so many ugly people with kids and families too.

Regardless of my physical attractiveness, I find it hard to believe that hypergamy is so intensely polarized that an above-average looking guy like myself has problem with average-looking chicks. It was that kind of blackpill mentality that was partially what kept me in monk mode for two years. But in that time I've made the hotter girls go crazy about me when I treated them like the trash they are. Energy and status have so much more sway for a man than his looks.

I've been told this before. Ironically one was a drunk girl who is usually all over me but was "too busy" when I invited her to go do something with me a few months back. I just assumed with hypergamy, they'd want to bark as high up the ladder as they can. Finding ways to meet girls is where I could improve. I've just been using social situations (I'm doing a part-time masters and also do community college courses.) Right now it's cold and it's winter. The streets are deserted because people are…

These men certainly aren't red pilled, so that is a fair rebuttal. I don't think it's a zero sum game where you can either find non-Christian or Christian girls. I'm not ignoring Christians I come across. I don't see it as a waste of time if it's primarily socializing. It is a waste of time if I was expecting to build something lasting and wholesome. I tried online dating after I finished university, and it did not go well. I don't do well online. My lack of success there is what ended up bringi…

We had a talk about it yesterday, and he just couldn't see how it was a good idea for her to stay somewhere else (for $400) for the time she is here. He thinks it's just best that she and her friend stay in his bed, and he won't be tempted. They have talked it over, and she will be a housewife, and he will provide financially. I don't know his salary or income that well, but he is saving up for marriage, and she doesn't have really any money. So he is providing that. Yeah I find the social circl…

This is personally challenging for me because I can't imagine myself (24) finding someone who is already a Christian who I could marry. But I still exercise hope that this could happen. I have been involved with at least a dozen Christian girls and half a dozen non-Christian girls, and the latter have always been significantly better in my experience. Christian girls (or perhaps better described as churchian) can often in my personal experience follow these patterns: Accusational and take a high…

Now he's talking about her driving down with her friend, and the two of them sleeping in his bed while he sleeps on the couch. Two girls and two guys in a two bedroom apartment. And that's somehow the best solution for preventing temptation. After reading all your comments and thinking it over, I'm going to sit him down and point out he's much more at risk with them staying here than nearby (I just ran the prices and it's really cheap right now.) I need to review the sidebar to see if I can find…

I appreciate these thoughts. Perhaps ONEitis is the wrong term here. The issue is not as much believing she is perfect, I just find myself wondering about her more frequently than I think is good. I even looked at the detailed timeframe for marriage post to apply it to my situation. But it's far too soon to be thinking like that. I need to slow myself down mentally here. The issue isn't as much excessive free time. I work full time, work out 5 days a week, have a class I take everyday, and do so…

This is good stuff. TRP has made me cautious of liking anyone too much, hence my reservations. More exposure is a good idea, to see the flaws and the reality. In the past I've seen the flaws of girls I've been with as opportunities for me to help them grow. That kind of leadership has always felt fulfilling for me. For the pagans, yeah I poke fun and all at them too. I hope to be a positive influence that will lead to more evangelistic conversations down the road as I understand their fears and …

I don't watch porn. From what I am aware, RPC is a community that recognizes that sexual desire for an unmarried woman is healthy as long as it is restrained and does not lead into sin. ENTPunisher is right too.

Yeah perhaps you are right. I just find it a turn-off how sexually "precocious" a lot of the women are over here. Cultural difference I know, but I see it as trashy and makes it hard to be interested. Not to say secular sweethearts don't exist. I met a nice, pretty girl during my travels who had never kissed a guy before me and was very open to hearing about my faith. But it's a shot in the dark to find those.

Yeah that is a good point and suggestion. Her dad has already said he wants me to come over for dinner, so I think these social contexts will come organically as well. I am starting to think he might be playing matchmaker while vetting me out. Fully possible she's seeing someone and hasn't been mentioned yet, so only time can tell.

Yeah, I'm just an overthinker by nature. When I first got redpilled, abundance mindset did a lot to help reorient my thought patterns around women I was interested in. I spend too much time planning and thinking. That's good for work and school, not for relationships. Too much emotional investment, too early. That is what I want to nip in the bud now. Re: mission. I have a heart for discipleship. The church is losing so many young people even though it has so many tools to help them find purpose…

Thank you /u/rocknrollchuck for the warm welcome and such an attentive reply. Let me see if I can touch on some of your points. Only meant the workout abbreviations, thanks for the handy glossary on those. That's a good goal to say hi to a person daily. I've often seen it advised, but I should adopt it for myself. My primary issue is that I fill up my time with so many solitary self-improvement hobbies, I leave little room for regular socializing. If I spend too much time out at various meet-ups…

OYS #1 - 12.29.19 (I first discovered RP and this subreddit about a year ago. Been checking in every few months. Going to give OYS a shot.) Physical: 6'0", 174 lbs. Bench 3x10x175. Will need to read up on these abbreviations and add more detail next week. Nutrition: Holiday week has been carb heavy, will be returning to my keto-leaning diet after this week. Fashion: No problems here Time: I have been more productive than I would expect with the holidays. Installed a new OS, spent a significant a…
