Couldn’t finish the video because I hate guys spewing pseudo-intellectualism. I don’t like cats, because as someone who’s allergic they never leave me tf alone. I honestly don’t get the CaTs HaVe BoUnDaRiEs. All animals have boundaries, I think it’s generally just as hard to get a dog to like you as a cat. But I think we can all agree a guy who is mean to animals or your pets is a huge red flag.

I’d disagree that it’s unusual to live within the norms of your time (that’s the opposite of unusual) or that it’s unusual to marry a man who loves and supports you (though sadly marriage doesn’t always work that way it is supposed to and often does). In the context of the modern day I highly doubt we will ever see another woman follow the relationship path she took and still end up sitting on the Supreme Court. It’s a losing game looking at historical figures for relationship role models as the…

I get what you’re saying but she married at 21 and had a baby at 22. Her goal wasn’t to be a housewife but marrying and having babies young was the norm at that time. She did say of her husband “He was the only boy I ever met who cared that I had a brain.” Might be one of those the bar is on the floor moments but sounds like she had a HVM by her side the entire time. Edit: Also you think the reason women’s rights are a mess is because of “cockholm syndrome?” Girl NO. RBG would be shaking her dam…

If you clicked the article link I posted with that comment you’d see even in relationships where women are the breadwinners they do more housework. While you’re correct that research shows statistically men likely work more paid hours than women (and even for this the exact amount is unknown since men have been shown to overreport their hours compared to women) you’re wrong that they do more labor in general or that that fully explains the wage gap. Research shows among full time workers women w…

Men and women don’t do an equal amount of work, so women have less time and energy because in the vast majority of relationships they do more work. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/589237/

If I may recommend a book, Quit Like a Woman: the radical choice to not drink in a culture obsessed with alcohol. It’s great and helped me make the switch from thinking I should quit to actually wanting to. So many recovery spaces are centered around men and it is so refreshing that this book is decidedly not.

Would be nice but unfortunately that's not true, young women are more vulnerable. Girls and young women between the ages of 16-24 experience intimate partner violence at a level nearly three times the national average. Their age is not a coincidence. The brain isn't fully developed until 25, and if you take an 18 year old you basically need to add on another 40% of their lifespan before they have an adult brain. Their brain is more similar to a 15 year old than a 25 year old. Speaking anecdotall…

I was curious about this too so I looked it up. She never went to law school only has an undergrad degree in political science. Apparently you don’t need a J.D. to be a judge in South Carolina. Yay for her, she seems like a superstar, but tbh you should probably go to law school if you’re gonna be a judge.

Not as bad as most of the other ones on here but my ex once called me a 7. Did I ask? No. I can’t remember what we were talking about but he said “I’m about a 6 but you’re about a 7.” I get that a five is average and a 7 is attractive but wtf who says that to a partner. Plus I’m hot. I have a good bod and did catalogue modeling as a teen. I am a 7 at the barest minimum but to a partner should always be a 10.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
