The ACLU and like minded individuals would still fight for their rights. This woman's case is more complicated due to their being doubts about her citizenship even before joining ISIS, but as a principle, we can not allow the government to strip citizenship from its citizens with no due process no matter how horrible of actions they've committed, it sets a terrible precedent that could be abused in the future. This was completely inappropriate for a head of state to say. To say that when a lady says "no" means "maybe", when "the no means no" idea is so closely intertwined with rape is completely out of bounds. This is not a mens rights issue, and this subreddit should not be supporting it. This is a stupid politician saying an inappropriate joke. If Angela Merkel made a "cut the balls" a la Katherine Heigl joke in a public and official setting, people would be up in arms as well.

You are absolutely right on all your points, but it can be very obvious when a woman quits the pill with out consent, just check how long its been since she took her pills. While missing 1-2 pills can result in pregnancy, in most cases it takes a while. Of course if this precedent in Canada goes both ways, we will probably begin seeing women who wish to commit this heinous act take better precautions to hide their deception.

So she has a kid and she may leave him one day, so what?? She has proven to have high moral integrity and wishes to be in a relationship not for monetary gain and wants to be in an equal partnership. That's called a keeper. If you are going to go into every relationship scared that the woman will leave you for another man, you'll never find a woman that can make you a happier man.

I think a hard working respectable woman (say this judge) understands that bitches (a malicious, unpleasant, selfish person, especially a woman. -dictionary.com; I think its applicable in this case, not for every woman) like this are just trying to live comfortably without working a day of their life.

How many of them are demanding to be forced to enroll in selective services if they want to receive certain government benefits (college loans, etc.)?
