I've definitely seen many examples of this. However, I think in a healthy relationship both parties end up having to change small things about themselves. Your individual personality probably won't be completely compatible with a lifestyle that includes a serious SO. I guess the important distinction is whether it's a conscious decision and effort by both people, or whether someone is being "tamed".

Not a lot of context here but I assume that's for a bar/club? If that's the case, it makes perfect business sense to do that. Nobody wants to go to a club will all men and no women (excepting gay clubs of course). I hate sexism as much as anyone, but this isn't that.
