I'm willing to discuss just about anything, but I have a really strong aversion to something I believe is actually pretty common these days - ass eating. I know I sound old school and vanilla for saying this, but I never have and never will put my face in a hole that shit comes out of. I've never met a woman who was so damn fine that she caused me to think of that as a sexual act. Back in the day my buddies would give me a hard time about not doing it and I was like, "How did this even become a …

This is a good question. I think it mostly has to do with how the opposite gender views it. Whether it's fair or not, men hesitate to commit to single mothers because they do not want to become responsible, directly or indirectly, for the children of other men. On the other hand women seem to attach a lot of positive masculine qualities to single fatherhood. They tend to be less concerned about how a man's children would impact their dating relationship with him, and more so impressed that the g…

The gyms I go to tend to be low key places oriented to mature professionals or even families, so I don't see too many women deliberately sexualize themselves. But there's always one or two that slips through the cracks. I'll never forget the first time I saw a woman in full make- up at the gym. I thought to myself, "Being cute does not compensate for the fact that she's apparently a vain idiot."

As a guy I'd say there's a strong chance they were all interested in you. There's no need for you to be anxious about it though. It's perfectly fine to decline any non-professional interactions with males you aren't dating. Enforcing that boundary would reduce the probability that any of these guys would respond to you in a way that you feel would be inappropriate. It's not rude to stick with females-only as friends. And it's probably not too difficult to come up with a few standard tactics for …

I can't stand Kevin Samuels because of how he talks to people. He's particularly inclined to use angry profanity towards women who disagree with him. Even when he's not cussing women out, he's constantly insulting their looks. He's abusive in other words. And he does this shit in front of the whole world, but somehow still has an audience. It means there's no shortage of women out there who will seek a man's approval for no reason other than the fact that they know he disapproves, and they want …

We were discussing the implications of my being okay with a 16 year-old male consenting to sex with an adult woman. Why would you mention someone being drugged? Of course that would be rape, but it's off topic. Stop gaslighting, bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/22 06:13 PM

Add one year to that scenario. If your friend was 18 and his perpetrator were 25, would it have still been rape?

Guys of all ages are relentless in their pursuit of sex while simultaneously being much bigger and stronger than women, typically. So there's an element of protecting a teenaged girl's health, both physically and mentally. When pairing the way guys think with the physical and/or psychological vulnerability of a typical teen-aged girl, I don't believe I could ever trust completely that there's zero element of coercion involved if a 30 year-old guy would want to date a 16 year-old daughter of mine…

I'd definitely rather be the second guy. I'd rather have frequent sex than get treated like an asexual boyfriend, if that's the definition any woman has for showing a guy respect. By the way, quickly escalating to sex with a guy in my opinion is its own tangible sign of respect. Even highly promiscuous women very rarely do that with guys they're not pretty impressed with on some level. So I'd argue there's no reason for me to even feel disrespect if a woman wants to sleep with me but not marry m…

My 16 year old son? Yeah I'd be okay with it. My 16 year old daughter? I'd hunt the guy down and castrate him. Double standard? Probably. But there's just a ton fewer circumstances where a male is being victimized by having access to willing adult female partners.

If I had a 7 year-old son, I definitely would not be okay with a grown woman twerking on him. And I definitely would not be okay with the sick "woman" who would even think to do some garbage like that. If my son is 16 on the other hand, I don't imagine I'd protest too much.

I'm fortunate to have been able to attract a broad variety of women. I don't want to sound disrespectful to anyone, but the interesting thing is how typically only the mature ones are interested in casual sex. Now, I LOVE mature women and usually prefer them sexually to younger women, but boy would it be nice to occasionally have some fun with some of my under-35 flirty friends without having to first commit to a serious relationship.

It's okay to tell guys you'd like to get to know them with no expectation that the interaction will ever escalate to sex. I think most guys are understanding of that over the short term at least. Just be aware that his time frame for wanting to decide about escalation towards sex is probably a lot shorter than yours. I'll often see women want to spend a year or more in the getting-to-know-you phase of a relationship. It may be well-intentioned, but because of our biology guys often see that sort…

You're saying you're an attractive woman who does not approach men, but somehow you still feel you're struggling to date? Until you actually make a move on someone, I don't know that I believe you've really tried. We guys aren't always gonna be able to read innuendo or signals that you'd like us to approach. Plus we'll often assume, based on experience, that almost all highly attractive women are either already in relationships or not interested. I encourage you to try approaching guys for a cha…

I believe a lot of women who are disgusted by men who see prostitutes are insecure and intimidated. They hate the idea that there's a short cut method for guys to get sexual satisfaction. I think many women who complain about thirsty guys would go into a depression if they were to wake up one day and all the thirsty guys were gone. In fact I've witnessed this, when women pass a certain age or move to different communities where the standards of beauty are different. Even though it seems rare for…

I was raised by an difficult single mother in an urban environment. I was a socially awkward kid. Looking back on it now, I knew I was loved but rarely felt it. I rarely witnessed healthy traditional marital relationships - to the embarrassing extent that when I got to college I still didn't realize only women wear engagement rings! In my adult life I've been fortunate to experience stable and mutually rewarding relationships with compatible women. I believe this has been a primary factor in my …

Sounds like you had a good time. Your initial response would have been smoother if you had been prepared, but really attractive women always catch us way the fuck off guard when they approach, don't they? So the initial stumble is forgivable. You did a nice job of recovering. Even if you weren't as smooth as she was, you at least made it clear that your stumble wasn't because you lacked attraction to her. You did a good job of recognizing she might have needed to understand that, so she'd know t…

I have to admit there's some truth to this in my case. I'm one of these guys who has zero trouble attracting women ... as long as I'm actually NOT TRYING to attract them. Lol. But the minute it dawns on me that a lady might be interested, I'll often fall into detrimental behavioral patterns like being overly anxious or eager or thirsty or awkward. Basically anxiety comes into play when I realize another person is considering offering me something that they'll withhold if I don't respond effectiv…

It sounds like you've gone through a natural maturation process and are ready for the next phase of your life. You might be ready to consider settling down, or at least beginning to date more seriously. Nothing wrong with that. I think the easiest solution for your bitterness towards nightlife would be to just stop doing nightlife. It's not required to get sex or relationships, or to have an active social life in general. Go discover new passions and surround yourself with people who share those…

Politely get her attention. Tell her you've seen her a few times and would like to introduce yourself. Tell her your name and from there follow the conversation wherever she takes it. If she doesn't have much to say, keep things brief but walk away with some sort of remark indicating you're always up for conversation, etc. Be confident but keep it simple. From there, the ball's in her court.

Say "yes" to it. Get the time and place for the next party and show up. She made out with you at the first party and she wants to see you again in the same setting. I can't imagine that being a bad thing. Just be cool and be you and let her drive for a bit. You'll probably like where she's headed.

I don't know who most of the red pill "leaders" are, but I feel neutral to positive about the ones I do know. They tend to come across as pro-male motivational speakers making a living. There's no harm in that. But the one guy I truly can't stand is Kevin Samuels. I'm not worried about the " scam" of these guys being misleading about their personal lives and getting rich from selling garbage. But I refuse to accept how this Samuels guy shows ZERO restraint in his angry verbal disrespect of women…

I live in a suburb as well but I don't allow that to stop me from having an active nightlife. Unlike most of my dull ass neighbors, driving an extra 20 minutes or whatever is well worth it to open up a world of extra options for recreation, socializing, dating, sex and just general fun and enjoyment of life. So yeah, if you like yoga there's nothing wrong with being in multiple classes at once, one near your home and another downtown. Have fun and good luck.

Apparently we have opposing notions of what constitutes secure behavior. I think it's secure to be comfortable enough with myself that I don't feel the need to compete that hard for women. You think it's beta to not compete for women. There's a thin line between mate guarding and possessivenes. And on that note, you do realize that no amount of mate guarding will keep a woman from cheating on a guy once she has decided to do it, right? It's not like red pill possessiveness is more effective than…

I choose my battles carefully. Emotional affairs are so common, I doubt many of us would get much sleep if we were to call out our partners on every single emotional affair we suspected. And stressing about such things can come across as insecure, which is not an alpha quality. I agree that women will cheat physically. I've been with my share of women in relationships. But I still feel it's an exception rather than a rule. For every woman who sleeps with her emotional affair partner, there are m…

I always say that one of the most underrated ways guys can improve their sex lives is to simply meet more people. Move to a new city. Get a new job. Take up a hobby that involves group activities. Get active in your community. Really just do ANYTHING YOU LIKE other than sit in your house. Because otherwise, like wtf do you expect?? And you don't have to hit on every girl you meet, but the more women you have in your social circles, the more opportunities you give yourself to find and get to know…

One of the things I've realized as I've gotten older is I've been off-base in the past in my defensiveness about orbiters. I was worried about partners cheating, but I was mistakenly viewing the situation from a male lens. I believe I now have a better understanding of female psychology regarding relationships. Because even though exceptions are common, I genuinely believe the vast majority of women will never PHYSICALLY cheat on any of their partners (they'll cheat emotionally left and right, b…

Don't assume she was flirting with you, but in case she was you want to give her an opportunity to clarify. Strike up brief casual conversations with her the next few time you see her. If she pulls away, drop it and move on. But if she warms to you over time, move in for the "kill". Good luck.

She's an attractive woman. Does the fact that she's 41 completely negate that? Let's say she looked the exact same, but her profile says 31. Would the younger age automatically make her more attractive, even though all else is the same? Let's say a woman hypothetically reaches prime attractiveness at around age 31, clocking in at 8 out of 10. By the time she's 41 she may be on the far end of her physical prime, clocking in at a 7 or maybe a strong 6 of 10. Is a 41 year old woman who is a 6 or 7 …

I guess you and I can agree about one thing: I do not have highly intimate relationships with women that do not involve sex. I'm okay with that. I'm okay being nothing more than respectfully cordial to attractive women who do not reciprocate my interest. I mean, I'm not sure what else I would owe them?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/21 02:42 AM

You're painting me as a deceitful or dishonest macho guy and that's not the case. I don't ghost my attractive friends who turn down sex. I just establish a more appropriate distance. What typically happens is they're the ones who ghost. And frankly it doesn't bother me. So am I a bad friend for not chasing someone who's mad at me for being attracted to them? Often we're able to eventually reconnect and patch up the friendship but with a clearer understanding on her end that even though I'm a goo…

My guy friends and I will do activities together and help each other out if/when we need anything. And if we haven't spoken in awhile, there's a little more catching up with each other involved. But no, we don't pour our hearts out to one another for hours at a time on a regular basis, if at all. So interacting with a woman that intensely is not my definition of a friend. That's someone who's depending on me to satisfy their emotional needs. In turn, I would like my sexual needs satisfied. And i…

As harsh as it may sound, the only female friends I have zero interest in fucking are the ones that are extremely unattractive. Of course I'd never say this to them directly, but they should not take my lack of interest as a compliment. I'm not some wholesome, asexual guy. They just turn me off. I have strong attractions to other female friends. They are aware, and the ones who choose to not become fwb tend to put respectful distance between us. I'm cool with that. But both of those extremes are…

You're looking at this from your perspective as a female. I presume you are interested in sex and enjoy it, but sex is not your objective. The validation is your objective. Guys are wired differently. We are not going to feel completely satisfied in any romantic interaction that does not include sex. We're programmed to chase the cat. These differences do not have to always be problematic. Most couples are capable of reaching common ground if they communicate well. The one thing I would caution …

I respect how honest you seem to be with yourself. It's an indicator of health and potential for growth. I don't know how encouraging this will be, but the most honest answer I can think of is to accumulate more relationship experience. At least for me, each new relationship opportunity represented affirmation and helped build my confidence. And it can surely be difficult for a lot of us guys, especially when we're young. There's no magic prescription for attracting young women. On the bright si…

As a guy, I have one rule about slut shaming: I'll never do it to any woman I'd consider sleeping with. And since a woman would have to be pretty damn hideous for me to refuse to consider her under any circumstance, I just don't go there. Because I'd be a hypocrite if I did. I think slut shaming would be virtually non-existent if most guys tried to practice similar logical consistency. Instead they harshly criticize sexually liberated women because they're mad the women would pick not one, not t…

I've already stated there's no justification for cheating. I also believe there's no justification for disregarding the psychological challenges to younger men who go extended periods of time without reasonable dating options. Some guys cheat because they're selfish jerks. Other guys cheat because they're damaged. I am sympathetic towards women who have been mistreated by men. I am EQUALLY sympathetic to men who have been damaged by their interactions with women. I'm not giving in to any of the …

The "typical" 18 year old female graduates from high school already possessing most of the qualities needed to consistently attract quality adult male partners - looks and relative youth/health. On the other hand, the desires of many women are more nuanced. Sure, they want their partners to be attractive, but compared to men they'll typically treat attractiveness as a baseline requirement rather than the ultimate objective. Miscellaneous qualities of their potential partners - like maturity, fin…

I love tall women. I'm fine with women who are taller than I am. I love intellectual women. I'm fine with women who are smarter than I am. But more muscular or stronger? I don't know, I'm a very muscular, strong guy. It would be kinda gross to date a woman stronger than I am. It'd be hard to think of her as feminine. Although if I were genetically a smaller guy I could envision being more flexible about that as well.
