He probably has a asian fetishism and then completely forgot or ignored about what culture she came from. If he loved her as much as he claimed he would not care about how much money he would have to spend. It's the same rhetoric about men whining about rings being expensive and how they should split the costs. Scrote man!

Its heartbreaking how easy it is for pickmesha"s to throw their friends under the bus just to be stomped on by any male attention. Its gross

The first time was already identifying the problem which is the most difficult part. I am really proud you have accepted to acknowledge the grim reality of this society we live in. And I understand that what you have gone through must have been more harmful than helpfull. What I can suggest to process this hard reality would be to reduce hours on social media (even reddit has a lot more catered to men than women). Take that time to love yourself in different ways. Be it by writting to yourself a…

The disturbing reality of the matter is how much willingness and effort woman put into trying not to be seen as a "burden" or any form of "baggage". So they dangerously minimise their boundaries.Reduce whatever they are going through wherever it be depression, bulimia, self crippling doubt, anxiety etc... ALL BECAUSE SOCIETY STOLE THEIR SELF ESTEEM TO SELL IT BACK UNDER IN A FORM OF DEPENDENCE (MEN AND PRODUCTS) THAT WILL NEVER BE A LONG TERM SOLUTION!!!!

The same thing can be said about many subreddit groups. A lot of FDS members have brought up stories and shared the reasons for their downvotes (which were due to pickmes and misogynist). And for what you have described OP, I deeply relate. Especially bait shows that demonstrate a strong female protagonist, only for her to change entirely when met with social expectations that suddenly she feels compelled to follow. I wish we had more woman in the movie productions.

All that really happens to them when they post these "relatable" memes or jokes is that they try to find people in the same situation to make them feel better. When in fact, it just teaches younger girls that this kind of behaviour is "normal" and "relatable" and "funny"? And obviously makes her a target of mockery. I feel for that poor woman who has to compare her boyfriend to your cat OP. Honestly? Cat> that "boyfriend"

Not only is it sexist and abuse OP. The hypocrisy is strong as they will kick her out and then come crawling back to her when they need help in their older days. Then the over glorified favourite son turns out to be a liability. How many stories on other subreddits have stories of sisters resenting their brothers for leeching off of the family's fortune ? Or for resenting his sisters success? Or even when the brother NEVER leaves and remains co-dependent of his parents (regardless or having a jo…

The thing with social media and male ego, is that it does not mix well. With so many apps, men think they have a wider range of accessible women. More disposable woman for their pleasure. Even if in a relationship to a woman, he will still look at other womans Instagram/snapchat/tiktok. The thought of "there is someone better waiting for me elsewhere" is permanently ingrained. As men are still on the "hunt". This leads to them never being satisfied with whom they are with. The message is still t…

What is sad is that they know deep down they are insecure about themselves but still need to project their frustration. The truth is, they feel validated when seeing many other girls in the same position as them. They feel that they belong to this group. "If there are so many of them then that means I am doing something right ? This is normal." Yet, the moment they see a girl begin her journey to "level-up", they suddenly feel personally attacked about their life choices. That there is another w…

It is a know fact: men benefit when standing next to a woman. It does not matter if she is a friend (he will look more approchable). If she is a date (he then becomes a lady's man). If she is a girlfriend (he will be looked as more mature). Or even if she is his wife (a man who has completed the life milestones). It all comes back to what image he portrays of himself to others. It does not even come close to what he actually wants. An example would be darker skinned men not wanting to date women…

Books take no space, like what is he even supposed to put on those shelves ? His insecurities? His ego? Narcissism? In all honesty she should chuck that SCROTE in the bin for his audacity. No woman should EVER get rid of what makes her happy.

It sounds so obvious and cheesy right ? But the truth of the matter is when you are truly left alone (not at home with family or on holidays etc..). The first step would be doing things you normally did (simple pleasures). Then the second step is noticing no one is around to judge your tastes in hobbies, food, movies or music (maybe simply reconnecting with things you loved that you repressed when others looked down on it). And the final step is fully embracing all of it and never changing! This…

OP you have nothing to be ashamed about. The most important part is that you have left that man and learned an important lesson. From then on, you can only do better. Break ups can take a toll, even if you resent him or not. I would suggest you focus on friends/family, hobbies or even perhaps work (now that you have more time). No joke, taking that time to focus on loving yourself more and what is important to you (new boundaries with step moms) is the most important part of self growth. I wish …

That is because they consider it a "guilty pleasure". When it is not. They compare it to the same idea of: "woman cheats on diet with a guilty pleasure such as eating her favourite chocolate". Thus, they minimise the damage it creates, and without knowing it, they spiral down to creating not only mental issues within themselves but also physical issues as well (erectile disfunction). Sometimes, you can see how low they have sunken when they put all the blame of a dead bedroom on the girlfriend/w…

The worst part is sometimes when you tell them the honest truth ( that they should leave) and they minimise the damage the guys have done to them. Like no sis, this isn't about blaming YOU, this is about you having to break up with that SCROTE that HURST YOU!

I feel so sorry for her. The amount of time she must have spent finding all these gifts, making herself pretty and even cooking! To be all hyped for someone she loves, only to be crushed by some stupid spoiled brat who didnt even see the effort. I really hope she moved on and found a man that will appreciate all her effort and embrace her for it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
