i dunno, in my mind the context still suggests that they were the ones subjected to an ordeal. their names are the only ones included in the sentence regarding the "ordeal". it's poorly worded if it's not meant to suggest that.

i just don't understand anyone with any kind of rational mind and critical thinking capability can say something like that. i have a very close, and old friend who's a m-to-f transexual and laughs at being called a woman, thinking it's ridiculous and takes pride in being a 3rd sex individual.
