... So, using an ad hominem attack, then placing blame, followed by false equivalence, and then displacing the burden of mutual communication onto me, does what exactly? I can tell you are reading my replies by your responses, but it's impossible to actually have a dialogue without both parties willing to fully address the points of the other, and where there's a blatant fundamental misunderstanding or unwillingness to accept basic principles of effective communication. It's a shame, but this di…

I don't disagree with that. I believe everyone should strive to live authentically, in addition to morally. Like I said, I responded to what you explicitly said. It's each person's job to properly convey what they mean, not for the recipients to decipher the 'point' when what is meant is not properly stated. None of my comments are mutually exclusive.

You specifically said 'do[ing] what makes us happy' is the sole measure of self-interest, and didn't include any other qualifiers. That's inherently hedonistic. Just as I will take your word at face value regarding your 'point', I only responded to what you explicitly stated.

I know quite a few guys who haven't looked for a woman to be with for about 2 years. A lot of guys, even those who are wanted, are just fed up. I can attest to this: When it comes down to it, I can't find one thing a woman actually brings into my life that is worthwhile other than sex. To be clear, I don't think that's all that women are. However, I personally can't find one thing a woman has brought into my life that can be momentarily viewed as worth the risk, as, other than character developm…

Because they aren't worth it. A guy will commit to whom he deems worthy. It's just that simple

Agreed man, I don't really understand where the hate comes from, and I'm disagreeing with you... But I won't just be like "that's bs". It's a conversation

I think the argument should've been "guys have a lesser ability to enhance their attractiveness". As far as beauty standards, women 100% have it worse. There are two main reasona I say this: 1. Girls are much more prone to have "types" (e.g. scrawny guys, nerds, fatter men, etc.) and less of a stereotypical archetype of a 10/10, and 2. The disparity between the bottom 80% of women and the top 20% is MUCH larger. Guys can workout, make money, or simply fake confidence, and the difference between …

This is definitely multifaceted, yet the conclusion isn't really difficult to come to. In a relationship, you should respect your partner, and this includes how you portray yourself as it is a direct representation of your partner and how you feel about them. If she is posting the photos for her to feel good about herself, ok, that's fine ... But that means that's a higher priority for her than respecting her man. And vice versa. It's a respect thing

Why are y'all making this more complicated than what OP said? We all agree we don't need to "chase" after things in the sense of forcing it. He means "attract" as in it will flow, even if you initiate. "Belong" as in meant for us. Y'all need to relax

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
