That first line helps a lot in avoiding arguments and getting parents off your back, I read about it months ago and it's saved me so much hassle. OP learn this.

180cm short? tfw 5ft8 you live under their roof so you have to live by their rules, my suggestion would be to lie to them a lot and if they bring anything up just say, 'I'm getting A grades in every subject, what do you want?' but make sure you actual get A grades. also lifting doesn't stunt growth, it's a myth so just tell them its a myth. didn't know the olympics had maths and physics, do you mean a school competition? lol I have over protective parents, they paid for my gym membership since I…

Stop being so thirsty to be his friend, 'Over the two day period he stops talking to me, looking the other way when he walks by me. ' are you autistic? did you not understand that this translates into english as 'i changed my mind', then you show up anyway lmao. only reason he sat with you at lunch is because there was no one better to sit with. ofcourse he writes your name in the comment since you are known for turning up at parties uninvited. Think with logic not emotion, try and understand th…

To learn how to study, do this course: https://www.coursera.org/learn/learning-how-to-learn Then apply techniques to your subjects. Honestly, UK sixth formers have to be the stupidest people I've ever come across, the grade boundaries for A-levels have gotten extremely low to the point I felt sickened by how much effort I put in to study when I saw the grade boundaries. Focus on getting a gym membership and lifting, start SL 5X5 or SS, read nonfiction self improvement books, meditate, read manos…

Wanting to get 100% in an exam isn't enough, studying has to become your life if you ever want to get 100% and you have to commit to it 12-16 hours a day and give up social time and hobbies. If you're not willing to do that you will never get the top grades, it's that simple. Also stop blaming the exam for being 'harder', don't compare yourself to the class average. I don't know what you want to hear but basically you either didn't put enough time into studying, or your studying method is shit, …

Thanks, it would be more for anxiety symptoms to help me with day to day life. I know I need to force myself to go to class and I try, yesterday I traveled to uni and was halfway walking towards my lecture then I felt like shit so I turned back and went home... It's cringe when I think about it. I'll take them since nothing else is working for me anyway, there's nothing to lose.

Great thread, what do you do when you are near to exam times, with this method surely you should already know everything to a high standard way before the exam dates (for me anyway), how do you remain disciplined to carry on studying so much nearer to exams?

'For improving physique' I recommend eating less -500 TDEE maintenance, or eating less and doing more cardio. Until you get a lower body fat, at 175lb you are classed as overweight according to NHS, do some google searches.

Thanks for this, I agree I think the best thing is to stay positive and just fake it till I make it I guess, I feel if I carry on believing my social skills will never improve they won't improve. I should try and stay positive I don't want to be left anti-social.

It's not a bad thing that your friends think you're stupid, thats a very good thing, it means they won't get jealous or try to sabotage you, I purposely show flaws to my friends. For example they ask me what I did this school holidays I tell them I was levelling up my mage on world of warcraft when I was actually studying around 9 hours a day, exercising, reading. It means they feel safe around you and put their guard down, they aren't competitive since they 'think' they are smarter and can act …

I hardly go to school anymore for my grades are not the best and it really demotivates me. For the past month, I have just been sitting at home playing Runescape to surpass reality. Although I still study a bit and apply for the exams so I don't get a failure in the courses. Study more. You will soon graduate? How soon is soon? If it's more than 2 weeks it's just an excuse, you can pull your grades up. I'm not talking study an hour a day then play runescape, life doesn't work like that if you wa…
