Inheritance - it was about making sure any kids she might have are his so his property/good etc would go to his own bloodline.

Personally I don't seem to have any adverse effects from it. I didn't even know it was a thing until I started reading this sub, then I got a little pissed actually - not because it had been done to me, but because everyone was telling me that there was something wrong with me and I should be angry when I've always been fine. I felt like I was being told I was disfigured and ugly. Would I circumsize if I had a son? Nope

Having seen some really bitter divorce cases where kids become just another pawn to hurt the other with, I know what you mean OP - I'm sure some of these cases are guys trying to hurt the mother, but I started asking how many of them are also just fathers who have snapped after being denied access to their kids over and over again.

You're right - considering she would have seen exactly the response MRA's get she still followed her conscience to take this stand - and it's just what the movement needs, women who see the same thing. Men who advocate for it are so easily dismissed by some, but when they see a woman agreeing it's more challenging !

I've been subbed to a lot of those a while - is it only post submissions or comments that get you banned?

Ass burgers Actually, when Burger King came to Australia there was already a restaurant with that name so they had to choose another one and the Australian franchisee chose Hungry Jacks. His name is Jack.

Sadly a lot of comments still want to blame the father for not seeing his child

"But that's them" Holy crap - just brushes over all those issues with a wave of the hand. Like bad luck men, it's not systemic, just men stuff.

I'm totally with you, I love that fresh smell of toilet cleaner, a gleaming bowl and no sign of festy pubes stuck anywhere. The toilet is just about the only time I have to myself during the day, I'm going to enjoy it !

The trouble is the criticism is leveled at a strawman... These little girls, who are taken out on dates by their fathers, are taught that men should do everything for them. Men open the door. Men pull out the chair. Men buy everything. Men even pick out their dresses and purses, What the hell? Do people really do this? I have time with my daughter because quite often I don't get time just with me and her without her mother around - I don't fetishise her like a Barbi, and I doubt many man do eith…

The whole basis of the posters reasoning, and many others today, seems to be that sex is something that men DO to women and they can either say yes or no. That's wrong though. Sex is a mutual act.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
