24	And that’s how you do it My ex said that too. I had met him through a common friend. So he went on to add how he had very nobly let everyone believe he was the cheater to “protect her image”. This was to cover his ass lest any of those friends tell me the truth. I believed him back then. I only realised how full of shit he was when he told his new girlfriend I cheated on him (I know because she called me a cheating whore who had “broken him” in a message).
