As a female, I adore true masculinity. A man who knows who he is, is secure, in tune with himself and others, able, intelligent, and with integrity… it’s a wondrous sight to behold. Men are awesome when they know what they’re capable of and live it.

You wouldn’t have to actively pursue that, you’d just have to be involved with a woman who has either had a partner who introduced it to her, or she’s seen it in porn/read about it and is seeking it out with you. I am speaking generally, not specifically to you or I - which I thought was how you framed your question. Your qualms are your qualms, if bdsm is a dealbreaker for you, so be it. Love yourself and set your boundaries… but don’t project it onto all females when it’s a personal problem, n…

26, why?

That sounds like an insecurity in your end, honestly. No offense. People have experiences that shape them - sexual and nonsexual, intentional and unintentional. We’re all damaged goods, no way around it and if we can’t love people past their damage, that to me, is a reflection of lack of self love and being able to be aware of/forgive one’s own weaknesses.

I actually agree with the general premise of what you’re saying - that women crave submission and this is subconsciously inherent. However, we often crave sexually the opposite of our outer personality because it’s pressure releasing. The man in power craves feeling powerless because it’s the only area of his life he’s allowed to feel that way or will allow himself to feel that way. Same with females, and it is deeply satisfying and takes a level of vulnerability and trust you may only give to a…

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder but my sister lives there and we talked about it extensively lol. A Cleveland 10 appeared to be a south Florida 6, but maybe it’s just different strokes for different folks.

South Florida. Girls here are stunning I went to Cleveland, Ohio to visit my sister and was shocked at the difference.

So, I’d say I range between a 4 and a 6 - depending on how well I’m taking care of myself (weight, effort, etc). I have only been rejected once. At the risk of sounding conceited, I carry an energy that makes guys attracted to me regardless. I am a very loving, fun, intelligent, deep thinking, feminine, confident and secure female which are traits that are somewhat hard to come by in today’s ladies. I tend to prefer older men (I’m 25), I have rejected several men. Online dating goes decently, I …

Decent enough. For me, at least. Other females feel differently… like maybe they don’t actually enjoy it so they only do it long enough to secure the guy. But as someone who loves it- yes, would definitely be a sign. However, I do agree with one of the other comments I just saw. The situation where I’m forcing myself to give when I don’t want to is usually because I’d rather do that than let him fuck me so I guess if you started only getting blowjobs, that would be a sign as well - truthfully.

As a female, yes. I am quite enthusiastic in that department - as in I love giving them and I will do so unsolicited frequently. But, there’s nothing worse than the feeling of being less than enthused due to emotional undercurrents and then forcing myself to do it anyway. When I’m upset, I do not want your dick in my mouth. I don’t want to give when I feel like my needs are not being met. So, if the relationship is declining, it’s likely due to some level of that. If I ever stop giving my SO bj’…

Hmm… that’s a lot of assumptions, there. I would argue that even a woman that carefully picks her partners could certainly end up a single mom by way of either life circumstance, husband’s death, illness, or simply the way time causes partnerships to evolve. This is a pretty basal blanket statement that doesn’t account for the nuances of real life.

What makes you say that?

As a single mom, I spend the majority of my life with what feels like the weight of my world on my shoulders, controlling everything, and being responsible. Being simultaneously desired and dominated is so psychologically fulfilling because I am not in control, I am at the mercy of someone else who I theoretically should trust and love, and he’s making me feel amazing while also “putting me in my place”. It’s so the opposite of every pressure I feel the rest of the time. It’s also primal… women …

I actually would be incredibly nervous to date a man who didn’t have children for 2 reasons: 1.) I don’t want anymore kids so if he does, that’s not gonna work. I love mine but I’m done. 2.) Being a parent changes you in a way nothing else can. If he doesn’t truly understand that the kids come first, what it means to be a parent, how you have to conduct yourself, etc., it’s not gonna work. A man without kids is a liability. Parent life is different than single life.

As a woman, I find it incredibly attractive when I guys knows how to do stuff. Whatever that is, if he’s skilled and enjoys it, it’s attractive. I think the more intellectually stimulating of a woman you want to pursue, the more she will appreciate mental acuity and skill expressed as a hobby

As a woman, I am a nympho so I doubt I’ll ever lose my drive, honestly. But, I will tell you this… when I’m not feeling emotionally connected to my bf, I don’t want him to touch me. When I am feeling it, I am ravenous. This is with 4 kids and all of the stresses of adult life. Sex keeps me sane, if I’m being totally honest. So, my advice is this: never stop caring for your partner. Your kids will grow up and leave, your partner will not. She will either be your greatest ally or your greatest ene…

One begets the other, though. If that takes therapy, great. If it doesn’t, that’s great too. Sometimes people just need to be reminded that they CAN in fact do the thing. Some people feel safer in can’ts and externalization their power. Most ride the line between the two. But ultimately it will always come to recognizing the thoughts and patterns within yourself that create a habit that results in your life. All is a conduit for someone to do the inner work but the inner work must be done.

For me, personally... I could not date a guy that had no emotional intelligence or sense of himself enough to communicate clearly. If we are in a long term relationship, vulnerability creates trust. However, I also totally recognize that it's only to a point. Subconsciously, I view insecurity as weakness and if it's his weakness, it compromises our family so depending on what it is and how prevalent it is, it could lead to issues. Some things can be worked on or compensated for, others make me d…

You're not wrong but you're also singling out an incredibly rare situation and using it to paint your world. Most men are not rapists and every woman has the choice to leave outside of complete physical force.

I am so sorry that you were in a situation where the other person did not respect your wishes. That was rape and I can see that it absolutely has placed a lens over your view of dating, which is understandable with trauma. However, as unfortunate as that is and whlle it was not your fault, I am sure that were you to give advice to another girl, it would not be to just never date,, but to be as safe as possible when placing ourselves in a potentially vulnerable position. I have a little girl and …

Nah. Im a female that doesn't blame rape culture for lack of common sense and personal responsibility. My body, my choice. My body, I choose who I go out with. My body, I choose what I drink and how much. My body, I choose how long I stay. My body, I choose to let someone I trust know where I'm going to be and arrange a way out if I'm not feeling it and the dude is my ride. My body, my mind, my voice and I choose to use it. I made decisions all night leading to its outcome, positive or negative.

Then don't go in the first place. I'm really not understanding the disconnect here. You're saying up front its not going to be fun.. then why are you there??? Why did you choose to go out???

How? It's logical for a responsible adult to be aware of herself, her surroundings and use good judgment. That's all this is. I'm a female using common sense.

Alternative stance: "I appreciate your interested in me, but I have to admit, it's not doing it for me. I'd be happy to pay for my share of the night (or all) and I'm going to carry on home now. Thanks for the laughs." Stay with it when he tries to object. He'll feel the rejection and likely back down when you're strong in yourself. Any non rapey dude will accept this.

It was consent to be there in the first place. It was consent to place herself in a situation she could have presumed may go south and not arrange a back up plan. It was her consent to drink beyond her limits. Uber exists. Precaution and personal responsibility exists. I agree that men can have a presence that makes girls feel unsafe but especially in a first date scenario where you are likely somewhere public and able to maneuver, this is consensual. Of course, decent people enjoy people desiri…

So, I agree with your main point because I think the gesture is fairly primal to put in appropriate effort to attract a mate. Women are generally more selective and because of that, it usually falls to the men to take on that role but it could equally be said of a woman who makes the first move. I am sorry to hear of your general misery with the opposite sex.. my experience has been that I choose who I date which means I should at least like the individual I'm spending my time with and even if t…
