Being expected as a matter of course to do the heavy lifting and dirty work is another.

The woman that says "Yes", isn't responsible for all the women that rejected the man prior. Right, why should she care what his life is like? It's not as if he is a human being or anything.

It’s not people want to literally be a person’s first choice. They just don’t want their partner to have the attitude that they are only in the relationship because they can’t do any better.

Yeah, I’m married now, but back when I was single I stopped approaching women or flirting or anything unless they pretty much flat out told me they wanted me to ask them out. It just wasn’t worth the hassle otherwise.

men on average have more sex than women I’d say all that means is that some men are having a hell of a lot of sex, not that most men have more sex than most women.

Is it OK if men communicate with women in whatever way they like without taking women’s feelings into account?

Especially when there is a radical change in circumstances during the marriage, like one of the partners becoming rich enough to fund his own manned space program.

Because that’s how we’re wired. Jesus Christ. Sorry, but there is almost nothing that men can do about their hormonal makeup.

This is similar to my own experience after my first marriage ended when I was in my 30s. None of the single women my own age that I met seemed to have the slightest interest in me, and some seemed downright hostile towards me just on general principles, but women ten or more years younger were practically throwing themselves at me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
