Learn to use a sewing machine and do some basic sewing if you don't know how yet. This is going to come in handy when either yours or your husband's clothes need mending - perhaps you need a zipper or some Velcro replaced. It'll save a lot of money to be able to go ahead and replace that Velcro / zipper instead of having to replace the whole jacket or whatever it is. My dog had a winter coat and the velcro wore out after a few years but his coat was still otherwise in great shape. A new dog coat…

In my opinion this type of setup is actually worse than the typical 50/50 egalitarian setup. He's expecting you to do the jobs of multiple people? So you're supposed to be a full-time office worker which I guess he thinks isn't real work if he's expecting you to be away from your desk half the day, but then also full time parenting- does he understand that homeschooling involves taking time to plan lessons in addition to the time that you do the lessons? Who does he expect clean, still you I ass…

I think the very very big caveat is the man in the relationship. Not all men are worthy of leading even if they seem to think they are. Some men are just plain stupid and will ramble off about being an alpha male but once you get to know them you can see that they're immature man children- typically a man who is an actual leader isn't going to voice out loud that he views himself as an "alpha male"- He's going to be confident enough that his demeanor and actions just prove it. I can say as a wom…

Thank you for clarifying. Honestly I think this is a pretty fair expectation. Have you had a conversation with him about it yet or are you still thinking of what you want to say? I'm sure there's room for growth but I would recommend when the mood is neutral (not during an argument about something else for example) calmly bringing up the issue after you've articulated your thoughts enough to fully communicate how you feel. Gauge how he reacts then consider the outcome of that discussion to decid…

What sorts of gifts are you expecting? Big grandiose gifts like designer handbags or an occasional bouquet of flowers, lingerie, and things that are actually more affordable? Is your husband American? I'm American, my husband's family is Albanian and because they experienced real poverty before coming here they are more materialistic than my family tends to be. We've been criticized for not driving nicer cars (we drive decent cars too, not old junkers like I used to before marriage) from his fam…

This group is for women. We aren't dating women in here. We are the women. I don't think you understood the purpose of this subreddit. None of us needed this so-called advice which is stupid anyway because it just assumes that all women are liars. Why even be with women if you don't even like us?

Obviously, yes. Since you're clearly here to moan and complain and project all of your problems that by the way you're the common denominator in all of these relationships then I won't be engaging with you further. The problem is probably you.

Well some ways that you could upgrade your looks would obviously be exercise and eating healthy to stay slim. But additionally you should get your colors done - r/coloranalysis can help you out or the Vivaldi app, just pay a little for the AI feature and use a picture of you in natural lighting (outside is great or a white room with an open window) for the best results. This will help determine which colors are best for you for clothes, makeup and hair color. You can also learn your body type an…

A higher sex drive doesn't give him a right to sleep around. Not to mention all the middle class men who are delusional thinking they're "high value" while making $65k/year LOL!!!!! If a man is going to have "permission" to cheat he better have a fucking private jet and be buying her NICE stuff or he's not worth sticking by through the pain.

Nope. I'm a Christian and I'm not interested in rich men. We're both Christian and we share the same beliefs. Cheating is only "okay" for men in this little secular ideology. Not an idiot. Actually it's a great idea. If I were single and had money to live on my own I'd do the same. Move somewhere you like the place for the place itself and try to meet a man there. It's a smart move. If you don't move you'll likely meet a man where you live anyway but then you might end up stuck living there with no prospects of ever moving. Just do it. If it doesn't work out you can come home later - it seems like your parents are eager to have you there. Just do solid research first…

Just expressing your gratitude verbally would go a long way. Everyone loves to feel appreciated. Men love knowing their efforts are worthwhile. Just tell him! The goals are different because we are different. Basic red pill theory is the idea that men want sex and women want commitment. That's not to say there's no overlap - men do want families too but they tend to want access to sex especially when they're young. We all play our bargaining chips to get what we want. Who you date depends on what you value. For me - I'm married so I shouldn't be dating anyone LOL!! But if I were single I would only date within the Orthodox Church. We have plenty of at…

Crossing a line. It's really not okay to call it just fantasy. If your body was virtually undressed by a guy that you didn't want to do anything sexual with - honestly that makes him akin to a peeping Tom at best in my opinion. Only a horrible person does this when there is so much free porn. There's a ton of women who willingly post pictures here on Reddit. There's a really no good reason to do that to a woman other than just being a horrible scum bag. If I knew someone who was doing that I wou…

Well to summarize and simplify... This sub pertains to heterosexuality and the innate differences.between men and women. We believe that women tend to want commitment and men tend to want access to sex with or without commitment. Men have the bargaining chip of offering us commitment to get sex. We have the bargaining chip of beauty (and sex) and we believe men and women both will use their bargaining chips to get what they're looking for. We believe men find women attractive when we are feminin…

You mentioned you're Christian -- have you ever visited an Orthodox church before? Particularly, an Orthodox church of America? The men heavily outweigh the women whereas in Protestant and many Catholic churches the women tend to outweigh the men. If you're open to other denominations, especially one that's been around for the 2000 years then I'd highly recommend. I think it's more natural for men to be the bouncing boards more of women and to carry the burdens of their whole families and have a certain level of stoicism. My husband and I have been going through infertility the last few years so obviously we've had moments where we've cried together or when his grandpa died we cried together. These moments it's sensible for a man to cry. But in most cases it's necessary for at least one of us to be calm and that should be the man in my view. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I cry t…

I just don't understand this mentality of being married but having "his" money vs "her" money and "splitting bills" out of those separate funds. When I was working we did money the same way we do now... All income goes into one account. All bills get paid from that one account. There is no splitting everything. The bills get paid from the shared money. That's what marriage is. What's mine is yours - what's yours is mine - it's all ours. Having this situation where you're working full time but yo…

Oh, yeah it definitely plays a role I just don't think OP should get hung up on as being a main factor that holds her back because it's out of her control. I also don't think it's good to let it hinder her confidence because while in general it does have a smaller pool than I would - it's still attractive to plenty of men. Dark skin isn't a flaw! We all have our preferences and so some men are going to prefer dark skin! I would make sure you dress for your features. r/coloranalysis can help you understand what colors beat compliment your features. I would like to add on humility and good conflict resolution skills. Yes- men should be leading but he should also be open to hearing out your ideas, concerns, etc. and should be able to admit when he's made a mistake and apologize so you can correct course together. You don't owe anybody an explanation for why you don't want kids! It's your life to live!! I can't stand people pushing for all women to have kids and insisting it'll change you. Have people never heard of situations where mothers abandon their children or are abusive or are just emotionally neglectful? Not every woman will make a good mother, good grief. If you have good parents- maybe it's good for you! The parents would really need to know what you like in terms of attraction though. I think I could definitely trust my dad and spiritual Father (priest) to make a good choice. That being said- the men at my church who are single are all fairly attractive/acceptable to me. I'm thankful I'm already married though and don't have to deal with this anymore. Dating today seems extra crappy.

I dress and do makeup to look attractive (now to my husband but initially was to attract a man) AND to look appealing enough that other women will want to be my friend AND for my own confidence. What's wrong with wanting to attract a mate? This attitude that it's "JUST FOR ME" seems to imply that it's shameful to want to attract a mate or fit in socially.

Midi skirts are your friend! Maxi dresses tend to make me feel frumpy. Mini makes me feel exposed. I just bought a bunch of midi length skirts and dresses. It helps to use "midi" as a key term. A lot of vintage dresses are cute but I'm careful about them because I don't want to look like I'm wearing a costume. I would try to sincerely ask for a specific example (or a few) of a time you behaved in the way its being claimed so you can reflect and try to see if you said something hurtful without realizing. You know with the childcare- that's exactly why it make a no sense in my situation to be anything but a SAHM- day care is soooo expensive. Between childcare and student debt- I'd have to make at least triple what I make right now to handle that. I'm in this boat too. My girlfriends have mostly been pretty feminist. One of my closest friends even ranted to her other feminist friend about how HORRIBLE it is to "give up" a career for children while I was sitting next to them.... Well if we're actively in an arguement then neither of us want it so I haven't had it come up. In a healthy relationship- I think sex can wait until afterwards. In America if you have a good health insurance then doctors appointments arent a huge worry. Having a special needs child is an entirely different situation than a baby without them. Cloth diapers are a viable option that many women are using. Some babies domt even have cribs the parents find another arrangement. I agree!! The only thing a newborn needs besides diapers is your boob! (or formula). I'm honestly happy that my fiance grew up the way he did. It made him into a strong man who's grateful for things. I agree with the pro-abortionists that the system for adoption is broken but I wish politicians would talk more about repairing the adoption system not so much about killing babies (especially late term).

This. But also aside from this - i cant stand the "cant afford it so we have to KILL IT"... my fiance was raised in ACTUAL poverty. In a third world country where they didnt have food stamps. And yet when asked about his childhood- he is fond of those years in his home country despite that his family was ACTUALLY starving. His life is valuable and im so thankful his mother didnt abort and instead chose to find a way to provide even when food was scarce.

Yes, itt does have a distinctive smell. I havent used the regular formula in so long though that I'm not sure how they compare in potency. I dont think the Botancials Veet smells nearly as strongly as Nair though. I like to rub on coconut oil or a nice scented body butter / lotion afterwards. I usually also put essential oils in the shower so I don't notice it very much/ the smell doesnt bother me.

Ok HONESTLY- it's intended for legs and underarms. I have personally gotten away with using on my bikini area but ONLY because I've been using it for such a long time that I know EXACTLY how much time it needs and I'm EXTREMELY CAREFUL. I would NOT reccomend jumping into that if that's something you choose to do. Wait until you've been using it for awhile then experiment with a small area. Waxing might be better for the lady bits but I have no experience with waxing.

For some reason, I felt compelled to finally shave my legs, Hey- just wanted to say that if you dont enjoy shaving your legs then you may want to consider a hair removal creme. I use the "botanicals" version of Veet and I love it! You'll want to do a small patch test of course. Most importantly, use a timer. Dont just watch the clock. Dont try to reapply if the hairs arent all gone- if you miss spots then shave those spots so you dont get a chemical burn. I've been using Veet for the last 7 year…

I don’t think women should be called out for liking sex. But how does this fit in with RPW? I think where you misunderstand me is that you think I shame women for liking sex. No, I advise women not to sleep around. We all like sex! We're made to love sex! But it should be within the context of commitment - which is how I believe it fits in with RPW. I'm not mean to women who sleep around. I'm not mad at them. But I will tell them the truth that their actions of sleeping around makes them unattra…

I think there are exceptions to every rule and it sounds like you're an exception. But RP is giving advice that has worked for many women over many generations not so much anecdotal advice. For example- if I were to advise a friend on which dating apps they should use I would NOT advise Tinder - even though I met my fiance on Tinder because the truth is that we're the exception not the rule. 96% of Tinders user base is people who are looking for hookups while 4% are looking for relationships. Of…

Right.... I'm not sure how the nO sLuT sHaMiNg crowd infiltrated their way in... shaming behaviors that arent shameful wouldnt have any meaning. Certain behaviors are shamed so people dont make the same mistake that others have made. This sub is meant to tell painful truths so that women will stop falling into the "empowerment" trap that leads to a life time of loneliness.

When you sleep with a man too quickly and theres no commitment first- you're giving him a subliminal message that you're "easy" and you'll sleep with anybody. Why should a man commit to you if he could be with someone he views as harder to get/someone who he sees as more disciplined and therefore less likely to cheat on him?

It's not that you NEVER have sex. It's that you never have sex *without his commitment to you of exclusivity *. You wait by having some self control like a lady rather than the impulsiveness of an animal.... this is like asking how people manage to stay monogamous when they see other sexy people out there.... self control.

He approached you while you were more of a tom boy so I'm thinking he likes that about you! Do you carry a purse? If not, perhaps you should look into one. I'm not sure what colours you like but red is pretty gender neutral but can be extremely feminine and sexy. Instead of changing your whole damn wardrobe - I'd start by getting a purse, perhaps some earrings (plain studs can be worn anywhere - no occasion. Check Groupon - I just but stunning earrings on there with Swarvovski Crystal's for like…
