And where the hell is their actual gold?! Any scrote I've heard that's worried about hypothetical gold-diggers is also worried about hypothetical gold.

At least 41 scrotes before the screen-shot. Also he wasn't just trying to scare her. He's embarrassed that she's got mad ninja reflexes from dealing with an ex-scrote and he got taken down effortlessly. By a gUrL

My DH has been abusive in so many ways and I can't believe my knee-jerk reaction is to be grateful this wasn't a fetish of his. #thebarcantgetanylower I'll just be grateful that nursing my kids left me with nice memories of that time. I feel sorry for this lady.

Your attitude is awesome. You do what needs to be done. You are working on everything you think is wrong with you and then some. You are an awesome mom. You are high value and that designation isn't just there because you arrived there. It's because you are doing every thing it takes to get/stay there. Your trajectory is in an upward motion. Being high value means you should always be striving to be in an upward motion. You got this.

This needs to be published! And put on a billboard. And promoted on various man-baby subreddits and sites. I mean, I really don't think men are aware... we'd be educating them! /s

How did you wait for 3 decades? To be clear, I got engaged at 17 and married at 18. I'm 47 and still married to the same guy. I've stuck it out, so to speak, in a very difficult marriage. Bottom line - there are a few reasons why that was for the best (unless I could have divorced before the kids but I wasn't ready to and I really love and like my kids). My daughter did the same thing I did and it has not been easy. My son is 24 and recently broke up with a young woman he was not compatible with…

You mention teen girls. That's something I would expect. Dealing with romantic/ sexual feelings as a teen can be overwhelming. I remember having crushes that dried up if I learned they liked me. I was still feeling my way around, trying to 'adult' emotionally but still basically being a kid. I think there's a Britney Spears song about that. That's why decent parents try to protect and guide their kids when they start dating. Which is why getting engaged at 17 and marrying at 18 was not a great i…

I was a doormat through most of my marriage but I put my foot down on BC pills - get cut or wear condoms. I was only 23 and pregnant with our second. I wasn't going to take pills that would do gosh-knows-what to my body for what would be, presumably, the next three or four decades. Nor was I willing to be the one to get cut open to avoid all that. You don't want to wear condoms? You can sit for a day or so with an ice pack on your jumblies! We viewed it as permanent and had regrets about the pro…

I overheard him talking to some other friends how he goes silent for days after making plans with a girl. He won't respond to her at all and just shows up at the date location. He says if the girl doesn't show up it means she isn't into him enough This is beyond depressing. Why can't adults act like adults and then treat other adults like adults?

I think it's totally ok to be away from a phone for an afternoon. I agree as I believe my phone is for my convenience. But if I'm setting an appointment to meet someone, my phone stays in my pocket for the afternoon, just in case they need to get in touch to move the appointment, reschedule or cancel. Confirming a meet up is basic respect for another human's time. Clearly, OP has friends who'd put up with a guy on OLD being overly casual with their time. As much as I want to support my fellow wo…

Will it ever go the other way?: Are you sure she wanted it? Uh huh, but did she say yes? So you gave her alcohol? Did you drink, too? That's a pretty strong reaction she had to the alcohol. Are you sure you didn't give her anything else? Is this the first time a girl has been ambivalent about having sex with you? You've got quite a rep on campus, you know.

Also, how young is his 'woman' at the start of the timeline if children will be in the picture. If the poor woman is 25 she'll be 36-37 by the time they're married. How many years together married (you know, to get to know each other as a married couple) before he allows for children to arrive? When the wife is already at an age to be considered high-risk for pregnancy? I guess if he always starts the timeline with an 18 yo (know matter how old and raggedy he is) then she'll be "safe". I went to…

With my own religious beliefs I'd be forced to embarrass him because if I'd been entertaining any doubts during the dating process I'd have to turn him down. According to my beliefs, accepting a proposal is binding. It would take gross behavior to occur or be discovered in order to break the engagement and still leave me 'in good standing'* in my congregation. So my guess is when someone does this, they know the answer will be 'No' and so they embarrass the girl into saying 'yes' by making it pu…

Pretty rich coming from the guy rumored to have driven his 30 y/o ex to suicide... Just coming here to say this... Don't know about the mother of his daughter, Jane, but Lauren Holly and Jenny McCarthy seemed to have found men treating them with respect AC (after Carrey).

NO! NO! NOOOOOOO!!! There is no human (male or female) that can be the 'right human' that can make another human change. True change always comes from within! Reading that makes me want to kick a scrote in the scrote.

No. You are incorrect. You are a bystander if you are not the victim that wrote this post. The OP is the victim. Anyone else, including you, is simply a bystander and being somewhat anonymous on a reddit forum means you (general you) can post what you want with little responsibility for the outcome. You're informed by your experiences, as am I, but you are not all experiences. This is FDS, actually, I'd be utterly shocked if most of the women who post here have NOT been, at the least, assaulted …

Men don’t “become” predators because of circumstances. He was always a fucking predator, and this pandemic gave him his opportunity. I totally agree, thank you for pointing this out. Whatever you choose to do, please keep in mind that he will do this to someone else ~if you don’t take action some kind of action.~ No. Just no. He will not do this to someone else because she didn't take action. He'll do this to someone else because, as you said, he's a predator. It is NOT your job, OP, to go to th…

"Hitting the wall" doesn't necessarily mean you're unattractive, just that due to factors, you're not attractive to a certain demographic. For example there's a number of men who have no sexual or romantic interest in women in their 40's and 50's even though they're in the same age range. These women are very attractive, just not young. So if they're at a nightclub and there's quite a number of beautiful young women there, the men trying to pick them up dwindles significantly. No matter what, th…

Is it some kind of gift projection? She'd love flowers delivered so she has some delivered to him? Honestly, my DH would've only appreciated the flowers if it came with a card promising something special later. In which case, I could scrap the flower idea and leave a post-it in his lunch.

Evidence of LVM. No HVW is going after that. A man should make some effort. Shower, comb his hair, maybe a shave, dress like he got some self-esteem.

She can't actually be a parent. She must be talking about her poor hypothetical future children (I hope, I hope, I hope...). Unless she plans on making sure they don't know how to read. Even if she deletes tweets, nothing is ever really gone from the internets.

Unfortunately with a skilled manipulator or narcissist I'd do it over the phone or in public, ideally where neither of you would be relying on a ride home. Honestly, where and how you break up is more important than the actual words you use. They'll twist your actual words anyway. To a reasonable person 'I don't want to' is a reason to break up. It's THE ultimate reason to break up. Not wanting to date someone is an actual reason. Just like 'no' is a complete sentence. But for manipulators and n…

That was disturbing and difficult to watch. The inappropriate comments and mild negging by the experimenter towards the gamers was eye opening. I just can't treat other humans that way. I don't know how some men do it.
