Update on this: I went to live in another city I fucked another girl I got another girl messaging me back home She’s messaged me twice since I’ve been gone and I haven’t replied. I am very tempted to tho even if it’s just to say fuck off but that seems rather petty.

Ok cool. Where can I find it? I just googled it and the only thing that comes up is you talking about it in another thread.

Are you talking about The Manipulated Man or phase 3?

I mean that is kind of the point. Scorched Earth but yeah if I ever wanted to lay her then yea no. Wtf was I thinking...

I have read the sidebar in the past. It’s long. And it’s been years since I came here on any kind of basis. I’d been trying MGTOW for a couple years and she sucked me right in. But okay this was cringe I get it. You guys are right. Need to stop giving her validation and talking to her. I need to get laid and spin plates.

I fucked up. There were times I could have kissed her. But because we were in school and I fear SJWs (school is full of them), I’m really reserved about making sexual advances under certain circumstances. I know would’ve, could’ve, should’ve. I was hoping to sound confident. Just stop texting I guess is the best solution. Edit: she’s already on Do Not Disturb mode on my phone.

Currently working on building back up plates actually.

Absolutely true. Every time I got fucked over was because I reacted in an emotional way. This includes in jobs too.

Does playing videogames make you like Elon Musk? Hint: No it doesn't.

Decent post but you can do all of this and still fail. You should still do it but it won't guarantee success. I would say remind yourself that your set yourself up with good habits in your 20s will help improve the overall quality and/or amount of opportunities down the road. As for the weed/alcohol/drugs comment. Everyone is different. Some people really could use the boost of alcohol, some people shouldn't go near it.

Since I'm not sure many of you are providing value, I'll post something that I've learned (in my admittedly young) life that I wish I learned sooner. Phil Stutz has a great book called The Tools. And if there's any tool that fits trp, it's the "reversal of desire": "A few rare individuals refuse to live in this limited way. Their secret is an ability to accept the pain of everything from failures and humiliations to the small, tedious pain involved in personal discipline- eating right, exercisin…

That is oddly way too specific to be practical advice other than the work out advice.

It was good advice. I replied to his post earlier but was trying out a script to protect comments made here if I'm going to be on here more often. As I stated earlier. I've worked in a sales environment and am a VERY good top performing salesperson. That's why I brought up NLP. I know it works. Does it work on everyone? Absolutely not but you can make it work for you. I use simple suggestions every day at work. I can also read people well. Better than I used to give myself credit for actually an…

For the record, I apologized to them before I made this thread. I just wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do in regards of frame.

In terms of marketing, I have my own brand and have worked for the government doing communications which is related to the task and why I feel competent enough for them to follow me. Of course, they may not know this and communication here would be the real problem. Every time marketing questions come up I nail it and even the prof acknowledges it. Getting laid CAN be pretty difficult. You're telling me being a leader is more difficult? I knew it was never going to be easy but guys have ruined t…

Yeah like I said I realize now calling them out in front of the class probably wasn't the best choice. I've never really been in a leadership position like that. I was looking at podcasts and researching this a bit more. I think most people would agree with you BUT there are people who lead that way such as Steve Jobs or Fortune 500 CEOs. Also, I think men go into game/ trp because they want to become leaders. I see nothing wrong with that since there are many parallels. I have apologized to the…

No she didn't. We spoke on the phone and it was the same person. She has a unique name and accent so I would have noticed.

Kind of new to TRP. I was debating on it. I just thought if I posted on asktrp, then I should be asking for advice. This was a legit rant out of frustration.

I like this. You're getting her to invest. I just I dunno... sometimes girls seem interested and then they start to rush off. Like the girl at the conference she seem interested in me. And then right after I got her number she hurries off. Okay, maybe she was busy. But it isn't the first time something like that has happened to me.

how do you make her prove it's real? I think we've all experienced a situation where a girl was just seeking validation from us.

I don't care about highschool per se. It's just I left with my reputation in tact. I wouldn't exactly want to suddenly be known as a creeper. I have done awesome things with my life, and highschool was shit.

Not sure. I didn't want to text right away because she told me to text my number to her and didn't want to seem desperate. I think I waited a day after. And got no reply. And then followed up with the invite the week after. Her iMessage said delivered but not read.

Yeah. I kind of thought about it counting as a positive too. The french use wordplay/misinterpretation as a part of their seduction tactics. But I don't know how she took it honestly. I just sent her a text if she doesn't reply by the day after tomorrow, her number's gone.

Ok 48 hours. That's a good rule of thumb. Thanks!

That would work only if I knew I was going to see her in-person. I would have to text her or call first which gives her an opportunity to ignore me.

Given most of my interactions with women, I definitely do not have this reaction. I just wish things went smoother. Like the girl from the radio conference. Do I bother to text her and if so what could I possibly say to makeup from being so previously awkward?

Wasn't at the bottom or the top. Honestly, I kind of had this mysterious guy thing going on. And I did music which she remembered. I assume she wasn't interested but again why give out your number if you are not interested?

I'm honestly confused. I know a number doesn't mean shit but does that mean I shouldn't pursue girls who give me their number if the interaction didn't go superbly well? What do I do to negate this kind of behavior?

I didn't text her saying we went to hs together. This was covered in our conversation at the shop. Maybe she knew, maybe she didn't. When I texted her I thought I was demonstrating high value since I scored free tickets to some swanky event.

I had gotten another girl's number that day but it went super awkward as well. I was at a radio station conference talking to this girl and slipped up when instead of saying the word "softskills" I said softcore. I later grabbed her number at the end of the event in front of the station manager after a sensitivity training session. It was super awkward and the girl basically bolted right after. I thought by calling the girl from highschool I would feel better but it just made me feel worse. Anyw…

then why act like a bitch when a guy calls? Like it seems you can't win. If you text they just ignore. If you call, you're socially inept. Arggg.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
