Yes it works; it's like how males tend to ask other males for help if it's a stranger eg. directions. Women have a tendency to feel safer amongst other females. They perceive like "Oh this male must not be a creep because this other female trusts him, he must be decent." Another example is if you are a male trying to kidnap a small kid, if you had a female with you, in the perception of the kid, you would seem more trustworthy than if you tried to get the kid by themselves to go with you.

Even male friendships I'd like some tips to incorporate, maybe not "alluring" but more so personal traits to keep them interested in being friends. Cz most of the experience I've had, we get close, then drift and I try to maintain but it's bare minimum on their side, so I cease. Also, wait could you further elaborate, why would they not think I would still be interested in them?
