He always questioned me on any of my original thoughts, ideas, etc interrogating me on where they came from” Me too!! My ex did this to me all the time. He never gave me the credit for having an original thought. I was very much smarter than him, but he tried to make me question my own brain. As if I wasn’t capable of deciding on a movie I wanted to see. This behavior is so insulting. It was the tip of the iceberg for him.
