Some women can’t really stand the fact that there are men who are genuinely not interested in them. This post nut clarity is called refractory state and is caused by release of various hormones, including oxytocin and prolactin. Basically, if you can reenact the exact hormonal response, you can achieve 100% nut clarity. I thought a reservist is someone who joins the reserves, does basic training and MOS and then goes on training/drill things one weekend a month and two weeks a year. And of course gets deployed for months if shit happens. AFAIK, what you’ve described is “regular” active duty 4+4 years contract, when you serve 4 years in the military and for 4 years after that they can call you in if you’re needed. I’m not American so I might have got it wrong.

It largely depends on one's environment, values, goals, appearance, etc. Being gay in Saudi Arabia — bad, being straight in Europe/USA — might be bad too. If you gay in the US/Europe and you fit in LGBT community, you're fine, but if you dare to not agree on something with them — you're screwed.
