Yikes. And I agree this is an extreme case. Most lvm take advantage in smaller less obvious doses that build over time. While I was somewhat complicit thanks to my pick me issues, I was basically the lobster that was slowly boiled without having a clue. And I wanted to comment in case there are women here who read these extreme cases and think, ok, maybe my relationship isn't as bad as I think. I mean, my guy isn't doing THAT. But if you have to play that game, it's already time to leave. I mean…

Ugh. And don't be fooled in the honeymoon phase, like I was. My ex was so cuddly with my and I LOVED it. Fast forward to our marriage... It's too hot to cuddle... Making out is boring...I can't help it I walk faster than you... Why do you need both my arms for a hug... But yeah, physical touch was the thing he craved the most. Just as long as I was touching his dick.

And red flags can be super simple and easy to overlook because everyone likes to act like women overreact to shit. Actually, we really, really don't. A good friend of my (now ex) husband moved to our town for just a couple months due to a work assignment. (This was about two years ago) This guy is divorced and childless and generally we get along ok... Except he's very religious and a bit misogynistic. Fine whatever. I have two daughters under six, and he was enamored with them. Asked them for h…

My ex went to therapy before I ended our marriage, but at the time I was sleeping alone because he emotionally abused me and I finally realized I couldn't trust him. He came home one day and told me his therapist told him that my refusal to be physically intimate would ensure our relationship would fail. I laughed in his fucking face. I have no doubt he either made that up entirely OR twisted things so supremely that her statement isn't even related to our situation. But he honest to god thought…

Umm sorry everyone, OP here, but I didn't say I was looking to DATE my coworkers. I'm trying to find evidence of high value males in the wild. The only place I ever go is work.

This is bare minimum btw. My ex would tell you he did this. What he wouldn't mention is that he also verbally and emotionally abused our children and me at the same time. And by housework he'd run the dishwasher with unrinsed dishes then put them away regardless of their state, and traded off mowing the lawn with me (I like mowing the lawn because we had an electric mower and I could listen to music and get in my steps... Gave me a break from doing housework while ALSO caring for our kids... No …

My ex never said don't post pics of us. However... I never really paid attention to his Facebook page. I tagged him in photos of us and our children. I commented occasionally. I trusted. Foolishly. As I considered divorce, I looked at his Facebook page. And lo and behold, exactly one photo of me was visible... And it's a truly awful photo of me physically. I'm not being self deprecating. I'd given birth a few days before and I'm asleep with my child in a stretchy dress and I LOOK like I just gav…

Hot 99.5 in DC. They also do war of the roses where they catch cheaters.

First attempt only, if you want to be polite say, "I'd rather be alone, have a great evening." That's polite, plenty, you don't owe anything more. Literally pick up your phone and ignore, if you don't want to leave your space. If they get verbally abusive, you can try shouting "go away!" If you approached a guy and he said he'd rather be alone, you'd respect that. Any human being should and if they don't they're trash that needs to be removed.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. I can't get on board with this. It sounds...goodish. But, my dude, if you continue initiating, and she's turning you down and she's apologizing, maaaaybe just stop. No one dies without sex. So stop initiating, and just put the ball in her court. Tell her you love her and you want her to feel comfortable so you're letting it be her decision to have sex. Then show her that by backing off. And if nothing changes and you wanna leave, go for it. She doesn't want to have sex, she doesn'…
