Preferences are fine and the ones in the meme are expressed politely but a lot of men don’t seem to understand the concept of expressing a preference without putting women outside their preference down. I see way more “fatties are disgusting” and “bw are (insert list of stereotypes)” on this app and other social medias than the above statements that are said without insulting those outside their preference.

Spot on id only add the victim blaming women for being blindsided by deadbeat dads cheaters and abusers. PPD men simultaneously claim all Chads are scummy people while also LARPing as Chad…🤔

I wanna do a social experiment where a truly average guy in a city who can’t get any female attention is transplanted to rural Appalachia or the Deep South and see if he’s able to pull or not after becoming the fittest and richest dude there by default 🤔

For confirmed definitely women being dishonest about their standards. I think it’s understandable to want a tall, fit, ambitious, even aggressive man both from an evolutionary and modern perspective but a lot of women won’t admit that straight up unless you discuss the alternative of some docile loser wasting away on the couch haha. And don’t get me wrong there are definitely niches and women that may like other traits in a man but for the general population this is true.

I guess that makes sense it just feels defeatist to me like womens hypergamy is just so unstoppable that why try for a fulfilling relationship at all lol

Can someone explain how the “she’s not yours it’s just your turn” stuff is supposed to help men struggling with dating? It’s supposedly redpill but it sounds more of the onyx colored variety to me.

Nah chads will use me as a starter gf and trade up later and that’s if I make it to gf status plus I have a thing for fat guys anyway lol

Does anyone have good dating app recs that don’t just have normies? I got tinder today for the first time and I thought there’d be some cute chubby nerds I could get but literally every guy on there is painfully normal and handsome. I somehow got likes too from said men despite being an ugly autist too I guess guys really do swipe right on anything 😶

I got 1/5 “easy to please,” 83.9% of men 20-25. Now if only that 83.9% liked me…

So yesterday was the first day of my psychology class this semester at my cc, and this clearly autistic/disabled kid that sits in the row across from me deadass started stuttering and babbling about how he was a lonely virgin, had no gf, and wasn’t allowed to date when he was younger to the professor in front of the entire class during a conversation about “normal” social development. Like no shame either even as classmates were giggling. The professor was playing it off like “oh, well that’s a …

Lovely sentiment but there is still a child who needs to be fed and clothed. Whether it’s the mothers fault or not, that is a fact. Making the mothers “take responsibility” for their choice in father is at the expense of the child involved. The government will either get the money from the father or everyone else, because it’s not in their best interest to have all these kids growing up in severe poverty. And no one wants their taxes raised to care for a child they had no part in making, so it i…

Because they’re struggling with confirmation bias and the men here who post the unreliable studies/surveys in the first place and market them as fact are too.

Yeah that’s a good point, if you’re female it’s difficult to escape the male gaze completely even if you look younger.

I definitely wouldn’t say just as bad, I think the shame aspect is worse for men but it still happens to women and it still sucks. Infantilization isn’t really something that’s gender based. But, I will happily say men “have it worse” in anything if it means the problem is acknowledged at all tbh, so sure.

Yes, but I think it can also happen if you’re female (anyone you date is called a pdf file, you’re not taken seriously at all), or have a disability (“people with ____ date?” “Why is ____ going out with him? Is she trying to take advantage? Maybe get $$$?”) If you get written off as someone who can’t hold equal power in a relationship, despite being a mature consenting adult, you’re treated as childish entertainment and essentially off the market.

You’re right, It seems the trick the regulars here have learned is to not take PPD all that seriously as a debate sub at all 😶

This is a sub about heterosexual dating for the most part, so I think having the input of both men and women is important. It makes me sad in that regard because it either shows that some of this sub either wants to sit in a depressing/pity echo chamber and not have a “debate” at all, or hates feminism/gynocentrism/whatever so much they stop seeing women as human with human problems. Maybe it’s just the fact that this is on Reddit, and most of the site is incredibly sanitized despite leaning mal…

Hi, Ive been lurking here for a little while. I’d like to post and ask questions and such but it really puts me off that I’ve seen multiple times posts and comments trashing female users or directly stating that they shouldn’t be participating at all. Makes me sad ngl :(

As the mythical daughter of a single dad who won custody I haven’t seen anyone blame men ever when they leave and take the kids. It’s justified and noble. But god forbid a woman does it amirite…
