Yeah, cute or not this guy is not a winner. Pressing a suit after you've given a very clear "no" isn't appropriate or acceptable behavior. The only way I can see an otherwise reasonable human being using this line is if a lot of alcohol was involved. And for reference, you are not "a horrible slut" for dancing with another man. I couldn't agree more. Moreover, allegations made in these proceedings should be punishable under current libel/slander laws.

You are exactly correct. Someone needs to inform a judge of her behavior since judges (and other legal authorities) do not routinely go out and look for this behavior. I'd guess that after this article those actions will be taken. The worst case (for her) is that any future claims she makes must first be reviewed by a judge before they will be allowed to enter the legal system.

Probably not. For those concerned with the prevalence sexual assault of women it would be a major detriment to their cause to defend a false accusation.
