What made it finally click for your mom? My mom has pick-me ways that were beaten into her by growing up with her narcissistic older sister. She thinks the mistreatment is normal. I've been telling her for years that her husband is shit and she deserves better but she always has an excuse.

One of my first times going to a bar after turning 21, I got roofied. I didn't think I left my drink alone, but it happened anyway.

I've been seeing it everywhere too, and I agree, it has been amped up lately to an alarming degree. I've only been aware of the normalization of pedophilia for a few years but it goes way way back. I agree with your theory. Very disturbing. 🤢

The sexualization of minors on their platform is sick and wrong and I blame them for not cracking down on it and instead profiting off of this creepy pedo shit

I almost couldn't believe what I was hearing and seeing when watching that part of the movie especially, and had to turn it off at that point. It was so disturbing. And seriously why would netflix release that? It was marketed as a kid-friendly musical kind of like Mary Poppins or something, but glorified the actual grooming of underage girls (in this case, to be a courtesan). Like wtf. And I actually looked up this movie after I commented and it turns out this movie was really influential. It w…

Yeah sometime last year they released two pedophilia-glorifying movies at the same time. Gigi and Lolita (I think it was lolita anyway). The description for Gigi made it sound more innocent than it was, but it was basically a musical about a teenager being groomed by older men and there was even a creepy song performed by an old man about "little girls" and how blessed he and other men are to have them because they turn into the objects of their desire. It was very suspicious to me that they had…

What movie is this from? Does she actually say that? I want to watch it anyway because I love her

I hate that shit. My ex would do that in almost every circumstance, default to defending the victimizer instead of the victim

I agree. Somewhat related to this, when I was raped, one of the police officers dealing with me when I was in the hospital called it a "sex kit" instead of a rape kit. The wording there is very important. The same bastard cop also asked "but did you say NO?" And in the police report they didnt say anything about my lack of consent and worded it like I was given a choice, which I was not.

I would like to add that I've noticed in a lot of places, it's super difficult to find a public restroom. Even in fast food restaurants, they often have a rule that you must purchase something before they let you use their restroom. I dont know if this is more common in cities, but that's where I've noticed it the most, and I cant help but think they do this to deter homeless people, which pisses me off
