A vasectomy is not usually on a wife’s will, that’s a bad faith exaggeration. Also a decision can’t be mutual if only one party suffers the long term consequences.

How it’s controlling to chose the amount of kids to have when you are the one risking your body and health for that?

people generally dislike jordan peterson’s hipocrisy. that’s why we don’t care when he tries to pander to incel demographics to stay relevant. it’s not that hard to get it

Nothing in that tiktok suggests she is a woman that wanted to ‘have it all’. It’s quite obvious she faced issues with infertility that are unusual for other women around her age, that’s why she froze her eggs at 30. Lots of women manage to have it all by the definition you gave-having a career and kids later in life is the norm in a lot of fields that are highly paid. The women that also managed to ‘get it all’ are also very adaptable individuals. Adaptability is a skill that will help the woman…

It’s not shaming to say something is sad. It was just an honest comment. And by the way you got triggered I know I’m right. Have a good night too.

For a dude so obsessed with the 2011-2019 period yet you have no idea of what emotional labour is. You also have no idea what a therapist is. Which makes it pointless to engage with someone that doesn’t even understand what he is so frustrated by (which is a sad state to be in).

And the ‘polite and cold’ framing is often times just cope from people that want to evade displaying basic human decency in certain situations. Hence your first example being about not showing care or understanding towards a coworker. You were not sent to a consent class because you were assumed to be a monster. You were sent because it was a topic that starts playing a huge part in your life when you start your college years. You were already a wizard of consent and didn’t need it? Cool, I was …

It was not the sales point. You’re intentionally leaving out the part that everyone gets something in return. Also no one is holding you at gun point to be friendly, you initiated a discussion about this sort of social dynamic and people responded to you. Be calm, I am not ever going to compliment your shirt. Your offense is irrational. I’ve made it clear many times.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 10:40 PM

Being friendly to people doesn’t mean being manipulative or distracting them from doing their jobs. I don’t like being manipulated. But I like being friendly and interacting with friendly people. Crazy thing. That also signals to the majority of people that I have more things to offer other than my utility. Also crazy. You’re offended for an imaginary assumption you made? Sorry, no one can help with that.

The scenario I highlighted basically boils down to friendly people are more fun to be around to. I never mentioned it was about a conditional pleasantry but I see you are willing to die on that hill. It’s probably useless to mention a fourth time it was not conditional or one way but I guess that one female coworker that complimented your tshirt really scarred you for life. Seems like the pamphlet covered the basics. There are other situations in which consent comes into play. Maybe you are some…

Do you think someone that’s a bitch in bar A is not also going to be a bitch in bar B? Impeccable logic dude. I didn’t explicitly said that, that’s just your own interpretation of what I said. I clarified a second time what I meant, you are just choosing to see my statement trough your ‘waHmeeN aRe ManIpuLaTiVe’ lens. I also said those type of classes help you protect yourself from certain situations. Also consent is more multifaceted then you are trying to paint it. Teens and young adults benef…

Bruh this is such a word salad. You wouldn’t sniff shit because my example doesn’t mean positive behaviour it’s intentionally performed for getting something out of someone, the point is that it is rewarded by others. It’s a loop because I would also end up helping my electrician by recommending him to a friend. It’s a loop, not a one way street. Also I just gave you an example of someone displaying negative behaviours that is going to impact how others approach her in the future and then you we…

There is a whole feedback loop you are ignoring in interhuman relationships. If I were to reject three guys in a cruel way, there wouldn’t be a fourth one asking me out. If I act friendly towards my electrician, I can develop a closer bond with him and maybe get some tips he wouldn’t give to some dude that just pays him. Harrasement is widespread and there are lots of unfortunate incidents that could be avoidable. Teaching young people about consent and how to protect themselves from certain sit…

We all need other people to survive, edgelord. I’m afraid you are about to discover water is wet next. I get it now, you can’t drop the main character syndrome and think the fact you took rape classes because harassment and assault are pretty wide spread on campuses means you were considered an abuser by default. But what you fail to comprehend is that anti rape and assault classes are useful for EVERYONE regardless of gender. Everyone can be a victim. Everyone should know basic rules about cons…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 09:03 PM

It’s not my logic, it’s YOURS. By your own faulty line of thinking all men are harassers and abusers. Do I need to pull a blackboard and show you that if a woman rejects 3 men in a cruel way, that doesn’t mean the majority of women engage in this behaviour? Jeez. No, everyone is not after their selfish motives. Most of us understand that the moment you step out your house you work towards common goals with a bunch of other people. So positive behaviour is how you facilitate both your work and pe…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 08:55 PM

I’m not getting mad, I’m just genuinely surprised you act like you don’t see the inherent flaw in your point. I have nothing against being held to a certain standard if there’s also some logic behind it. You’re not proving with actual proof how it’s a dumb example. Show the actual proof most women do that and then you could have a counter argument to what I said. I alread said why I am ‘entitled’ to that. Reciprocating positive behaviours is what makes society works and as long as we all live in…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 08:42 PM

Every girl has a story about being harrased, so every man is a harasser. This is basically your logic. Yeah everyone displays immoral behaviour at least once. Doesn’t mean it’s the same behaviour for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 08:32 PM

Most of women reject in decent ways. Maybe you need to reread my comment a few times in order to realise I never mentioned that ALL women do this because I kept things pretty genderless and neutral. Also you have zero proof every woman rejected someone in a cruel way at least once. I get people from more individualist societies like to have these edgy takes that ‘you’re not owed anything’, but that’s an attitude that at best doesn’t lead to progress and at worst can get pretty destructive.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 08:26 PM

There is a distinction a lot of the men in these spaces fail to make between what is entitlement and what is just basic human decency. Your first example shows exactly that-you are not a therapist just because you show understanding and care towards a coworker having a bad day, regardless of their gender. You’re just a decent human being. That can translate into dating-you are not entitled to attention from opposite sex. But you are ‘entitled’ to being treated with basic human decency (for examp…

I don’t think the majority of women that want something serious don’t vet for that from the beginning. We are searching for someone that has a combo of desireability and ability to be a good partner at the same time. And it’s not exactly hard to figure wether a man is a fuckboy or not after you get some experience in dating. So yeah I think it is beneficial to vet for those things early. But I don’t think it would be beneficial to vet based just on the ability of a dude to be serious.

I think preselection and desirability are more valued in the earlier stages. We don’t jump to having babies after we just met (not in the majority of cases) so the things we find most important in a partner tend to change depending on the stage of a relationship.

The point is not that he is more likely to get away, the point is that he has other things going on in his life besides your relationship. Only a minority of people (because this both applies to men and women) would want to be long-term with someone clingy and desperate.

Oh wow, another hypocritical Christian telling me cheaters shouldn’t be judged. Thanks for the laugh, my mind still isn’t changed. It’s very on brand for men desperate to defend cheaters to pull out dumb comparisons like the one with the person that stole food. 20-25% is a high number no matter how you try to spin it.

Why should I offer married men solutions? I’m no marriage counselor and I don’t know the specifics of each situation. But again-that doesn’t mean their actions don’t have consequences or it’s mIsAnDrIc to judge hypocritical ones that cheat or go to strip clubs. Like I said. Seen plenty of married Christian couples that pull their shit under the rug. Saying women shouldn’t be worried because just 20-25% of men cheat is quite the reach-that means roughly 1 in 4 men is a cheater. That’s damn high.

I’m from a country where 90% of the population identifies as Cheistian. Also I’ve seen plenty of miserable couples that didn’t divorce due to the stigma of it. So no, married couples aren’t happier by default. I think the statistics are shoddy because I googled men and women cheating and got different results than the one you linked. Cheating is a very hard phenomenon to capture using statistics since it can take many forms but the general consensus seems to be there is no gender that takes the …

I grew up in a conservative country so what I saw around me were ~90% traditional relationships. Just because people don’t divorce it doesn’t mean these relationships or marriages are happier than others. If the shoddy statistics you show me about this type of relationship would also be true people wouldn’t move on from trad relationships and pursue other options. Plenty of men cheat just because they are horndogs-and there are also a lot of outlets for men to give their money and attention to women (OF, camgirls, strip clubs) while claiming they are not cheating in the traditional sense of the word. It’s something women should deffinetly worry about. Also the trope of the traditional man that protects and provide is a Disney fantasy-the majority of traditional men are not as great as you want to paint them out to be.

And in lots of places where 16 is considered sexually ‘adult’ there are still conditions about age gaps. Also I don’t want to get my son bailed out after he gets accused of being a groomer. And no, I won’t blame GIRLS that have few more years to be considered adults by law. You can try and say ‘law is not a moral compass yadayada’, but that’s just a cheap excuse coming from the brigade that is okay with grooming and would rather raise maladjusted boys and endanger girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 01:39 PM
2

If my son ends up socially maladjusted and starts targeting highschoolers, I’m helping him get his shit together so he can be succesful with someone that can at least buy a beer. And that’s something any sane parent would do, not encourage his son to tiptoe around the sexual predator line when it comes to law.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 01:25 PM

Yeah, the solution for inceldom is to go for highschooler. And you dare call others losers.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 01:14 PM

A way to what? The dudes that were the most attractive in my first years of uni were not dating highschoolers lol. Also it’s not seething but using dramatic words like that helps with the victim narrative.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 01:06 PM
3

Because a dude that’s supposed to be dipping his toes into adult life dating a highschooler and not being able to get with someone in the same stage gets an obvious side-eye from people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 01:04 PM

It’s not necessarly wrong. We all seek partners that are better in some ways than us. But the way hypergamy is used in arguments here tries to paint that as some sort of revelation.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 05:45 AM

Please be for real, constant circlejerking and poor data interpreting skills is in no way better than ‘just feelings’. In fact for a lot of people that can google search the articles that redpillers just skim in order to win arguments online it’s pretty clear there in an innate desperation these dudes have for a certain version of reality to be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 04:28 AM

Come on, not the redpiller talking about circlejerking. Seen a lot of articles and data from TRP interpreted in atrocious ways or only have the parts presented that are favourable to men. So yeah, hard pass from anyone that wants actual reasonable interpretation of data.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 04:22 AM

Those seem like real answers to you. To a lot of people they seem like cheap c0pe-it’s always convenient for redpillers to constantly move the bar on what is redpill or not and then demand they are shown proof for obvious things.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 04:16 AM

How could you not see that redpillers repeating the same three motives (redpillers ain’t a monolith/that’s not actually redpill/people haven’t read the sidebar) is interpreted rightfully so as low effort and not worthy of changing your opinion? But sure, these women must be biased or not open minded for not being swayed by low effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 04:10 AM

Or maybe the only two arguments that rp men here present in threads like those are unconvincing. You can be open to have your opinion change-but that also requires the other side to bring something convincing to the table
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 03:54 AM

So basically the same thing lol
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/23 11:33 PM

So women should lie? Because functional adults regardless of sex don’t need a man or a woman. You are seen and owed basic respect just like any other human being. But that’s all.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/23 10:53 PM
1

Thad is a caricature of a human. Of course the dude that says he doesn’t remember the last time he felt fear is going to come across as emotional unintelligent. It’s the exaggerated stoicism that makes people wonder if they are communicating with an actual human or a cardboard.

I am european and I come across quite a few american women that are coupled up or married with swiss guys. Which I guess it’s a good thing for these women since men here are taller and less fat on average. So ofc american women won’t be as succesful if they look for partners in countries with a traditional dating culture but their chances and prospects are good in countries with a similar culture.

I understand why she thinks the damage is already done. Hope you both will be fine in the end, it’s not easy to navigate a situation like this one. /r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 07:48 PM

Well she told you what you ‘did wrong’. Did you tell her that you’re not a person that’s usually open? I had the same problem after a few months in my relationship and we got over it after having a long talk about what opening up is, how our past experiences shaped up the way we act now and so on.

Holy shit dude, just don’t split the bill and stop with the victimisation. But I wonder why men gather here to whine about women that are independent or modern just to lose their shit if there is a bill in sight (actually I don’t wonder, it’s just a funny dissonance to witness).

There’s no social stigma about a woman in her 20s going for a guy in his 30s.

You’re still not adressing the fact men have full choice to not date women that don’t split the bill. But we all know why men like to whine about this topic and act like there’s a burden on them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 06:29 PM

It very clearly is. Just go date women that split the bill. I’m sure internalising every lil tiktok you see makes you exhausted, not my fault tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 06:21 PM

The masculine expectation is dismantled. Just because this dudes try to leverage paying for a date instead of just splitting the bill doesn’t mean we have to dismantle anything. The only unserious thing is you calling two dudes good and caring men just because they paid for a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 06:15 PM

why should she have fucked either? this whining is illogical, those dudes aren’t forced to pay or take her on dates.

How has this dude shows he is worthy of forgiveness? By going on the platform of two misogynysts cracking jokes about rape? I get your comment tries to have this hollier than thou attitude but it kinda fails because you never take into consideration these sleazy dudes have to earn forgiveness.

Everyone shames it. My stepdad is younger than my mom and since they’ve been together they keep hearing how she stole his chance to be with a younger woman that gives him a family (even tough he has kids from a previous marriage). Lots of people are triggered when a woman gets a second chance to have a family.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/23 06:57 AM

It’s commendable that you broke things off once you found out. I don’t want to make it seem like I’m defending her because cheating is disgusting and she obviously went to great lengths to cheat on her husband.

If someone is not a good option for me, I’m not entertaining them. It’s that simple. So don’t act surprised pikachu face when people are going to think they are good options for you because they judge your actions. The sus part is befriending someone for a year and getting romantic without knowing they’re married.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 06:38 AM

Maybe she tought she was a good option because *you * kept entertaining her? This is such an odd story with some questionable gaps I’m curious no one adressed by now.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 06:25 AM
1

Nah, there’s deffinetly pressure for a woman to not be clingy, give a guy his space, not act overly emotional or-god forbid-crying when the man feels it’s inconvenient. It’s a red pill myth that men are understanding of the way women display their emotions when the reality is different.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 05:23 PM
3

I wasn’t talking about financial stability. I was talking about that point that people reach when they learn stuff from their previous failed relationships and become more confident. It’s much easier to be in a relationship when you’re not insecure about very mundane shit (something young people largely do) and you can communicate in an effective way (something that people usually learn after a few failures).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 04:43 PM
3

The most unstable people I meet are generally younger. This is why we don’t end up with our highschool sweetheart or first gf/bf. Once people learn how to navigate relationships better and handle their insecurities relationships become easier.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 04:13 PM

Because having a relationship becomes much easier the more stable you are.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 04:05 PM

What I’m saying is true. Lots of people move on from these sets of beliefs once they experience more things. And that’s a thing that’s generally true for both women and men. If that post had the genders reversed the RP dudes would just bitch about men always being blamed about the failures of a relationship and how they always have to entertain women and blablabla-but somehow because it’s a dude saying ‘men ain’t happy’ it’s supposed to be taken as a fact
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 01:11 PM
3

Why should they be stopped from spreading when people can just clown on RP dudes and we can all have a laugh at it? Any rational person knows that for a lot of these dudes this is going to be an edgy phase in a few years.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/23 12:59 PM

Maybe those women throw a fit because they never knew they were on a deadline to fuck some guy. Anyone regardless of gender would feel some type of way if they were ghosted for something they didn’t knew beforehand. Also I’m not surprised the only point of your comment was ‘women have no expectation placed on them when it comes to having sex with a guy’.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 04:31 PM

You’re not expected to sit and wait if you don’t want to. Posts like yours on ppd are strange personally for me because they portray men as doormats that have zero expectations from women-and that has never been my dating experience.

The appeal to nature is not my logic, it’s yours. I don’t think cheating is solely explained by what the lozard brain says but alas, the higher value man hypothesis was something I brought up just because you keep saying a woman cheating or having casual sex is against her imperative (which is a pretty weak imperative if we look at the ocean of exceptions around us).
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/23 06:06 AM

Maybe her natural imperative was to sleep with a higer value mate. And she did just that when a higher value mate propositioned himself to her-so by your train of thought it’s okay since the natural imperative criteria is checked. Seriously the appeal to nature is not a response in every situation. People don’t pick a book about evopsych and tailor their lives from that. Cheating is in a lot of cases more complex than ‘it was my imperative’, just like every thing we do since we’ve come a long wa…

Our own biological imperatives would dictate to shit in the middle of the street when we feel like it. So instead of the appeal to nature fallacy, you can actually adress the point. Sally cheats after resisting temptations multiple times. Incorrect about what dude? He won an unofficial game, people recognized that. Of course people won’t say he is such an acomplished athlete for winning ONE game. An acomolished athlete is someone that won a Grand Slam for example, we can’t change what the general perception about that is just to fit your ever moving goalposts. Seriously what are you even arguing? You wrote a ridiculously long comment about nothing. You have a habit of misinterpreting everything people say and just pulling things …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/23 04:48 AM
1

It’s not a self own since as I pointed out, a woman has to resist more temptation. Men have to go the extra mile to cheat-which makes it worse because they invest more effort in order to get access to cheating. I’m not explaining it for a third time
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/23 04:42 AM
1

He was the superior athlete IN THAT MATCH. For God’s sake, this is what people recognise him for. I get you want to move the goalpoasts constantly but it’s just getting boring. Also there where plenty of men saying how he is a much better athlete and how female tennis players are useless and yadayada but I don’t want to open that can of worms with a dude that constantly misinterprets comments.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 06:52 PM
1

I’m also surprised because that’s now what we argued about lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 05:54 PM
1

They acknowledged he won the battle of sexes game, duh. Despite not winning a Grand Slam, he is remembered for this one accomplishment over the years, that’s the point. How many dudes have been the 203rd ATP player yet no one remembers their names or they never got any coverage?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 05:36 PM
1

So it’s unfair to declare men winners if they actually win? That’s quite the logic there. I’m saying we can acknowledge him for beating them. In fact, there are articles written about that game 25 years after it happened. I get you want to move the goalposts by throwing ‘celebrate’ around, but he played an unofficial game against the sisters and got recognised for winning. What more should have happened?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 05:28 PM
1

The winner is celebrated in any sport or competition. So what kind of question even is that? You’ll probably bring up the ‘men have biological advantages blabla’ but the point would be that the women signed up willingly in a competition against men.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 05:16 PM
1

Then drop the iMmOraL angle and answer it-is a faithful women more praise worthy than a man? Or are you going to also argue being faithful is not a desireable outcome or moral?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 05:04 PM
1

Dude, I already answered. You’re gaslighting yourself since we are like 10 comments deep and you still haven’t understood my point is that THE EFFORT BEHIND THE ACTION IS POINTLESS. So your murder example DOESN’T ALIGN WITH MY POINT. I’ll say it again-a cheater is a cheater. A murderer is a murderer. Someone having sex is just a person having sex. The hierarchy of those things is POINTLESS
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 05:02 PM
1

Also I’m not going to cut and run since the effort angle is the one you advocate for. For me a cheater is a cheater. A murderer is a murderer. A person having sex is just a person having sex. You’re cherry picking one situation in which you account for the alleged effort it took a man to be promiscous yet don’t judge other situations by the same lens
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 04:58 PM
1

Then answer it-is a faithful woman more worthy of praise since she put in more effort to stay faithful compared to a man? That’s a desireable outcome. The parameter of accomplishments is one that is subjectively set by men because they are the only one that define sex as an accomplishment for men but as a loss for a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 04:55 PM
1

Make it make sense. When it’s convenient to you-the effort matters, that’s why a promiscous man is cool. When it’s not convenient to your argument, cheating is just a breach of contract and the effort suddenly doesn’t matter. It’s not impressive that a woman has to put in more effort to reiman faithful. As I said, your logic is a wet tissue and very flexible depending on wether the context is favourable to your point or not. You still didn’t adress why a man that was born attractive has to be ce…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 04:48 PM
1

No. I think it’s quite surprising you can’t see the flaws in your own logic. If cheating is a breach of contract and you don’t take into account the effort that was put into it, sex is also just consensual fornication and no one gets trophies for being a Casanova or stud. The point is not that people get hurt or not, the point is to apply the same lense of not judging the action in itself but rather look for justifications or possible scenarios for it. It’s a good comparison because it shows tha…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 04:36 PM
1

Women should be judged less harshly for cheating if we’re not actually judging the action for itself but we rather take into account the ‘effort’ put into it. It’s two different situations and not applying the same logic to them shows the whole promiscuity debate is disingenous and inconsistent.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 04:19 PM

You don’t measure up for a better reply
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 03:47 PM
1

How can cheating be equally bad by your logic? A woman has to resist way more temptation than a man. And a lot of dudes have to actively search for an opportunity or chance to cheat while for women they can just mind their bussines and be propositioned. It’s the difference between an active and a passive thing-the analogy is perfect and it just shows the inconsistency of people that want to die on the promiscuity hill.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 03:47 PM

It’s unimportant because you’re just another man complaining and doing the same things he claims women do. Nothing new to see here.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 03:40 PM

Actually women should do better and not pay attention to men whining, bitching and complaining. Just because you ‘bring something to our attention’ it doesn’t actually make it worthy of our time and attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 03:35 PM
1

There is no logic and rationality when trying to portay men as being better for doing the same thing a woman does. Also the hipocrisy in not taking into account that the negative consequences (such as being more prone to cheating or more prone to experiment with different substances or higher impulsivity) are found in promiscuous and hypersexual individuals of both genders. Lots of promiscuous men are just dudes that won the genetic lottery and have good features. So they should be gassed for…be…

Men judging bodycounts are the sore losers-they would jump in a heartbeat at the opportunity to have as many options as women. But since they can’t the obvious move is to berrate the women that partake in casual sex. That’s your assumptions. Bodycount is not a demand women commonly have. Pre selection is taken to absurd lengths by some people here. Women are indifferent at best to bodycount or they are turned off by it (since there are also conservative women out there).
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 03:01 PM
2

A man who slept with 20 women doesn’t become more attractive than a man that slept with 5. Bodycount doesn’t give you any special feat. By your basic premise society shouldn’t celebrate sore losers.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:54 PM
2

It makes no logical sex. Higher body counts and hypersexuality correlate with the same things for BOTH genders. So it becomes hypocritical for men to berrate women for that while ignoring their side. A woman would rather be with a dude she likes.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:46 PM
1

That is not a valid explanation. Basically it boils down to ‘we made up a rule and people should follow it because we want them to’. Nah
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/23 02:42 PM
1

It’s more enraging to see a double standard when it comes to female and male promiscuity. The women that actually care about being seen as non prmiscous by traditional standard take action, they don’t really participate in inteenet debates about it

out of all the things that didn’t happen, this didn’t happen the most
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/23 04:19 PM

It’s not about ‘bad deals’, it’s about moms and dads having delusional expectations about what their kid deserves. They overinflate the value their son/daughter has as a partner while finding flaws with the vast majority of potential partners. It’s probably something a lot of them can’t help.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/23 02:26 PM

Totally agree. Also you have to identify the biases your parents might have just because they can’t be objective when it comes to their kids. I see how my mom acts when it comes to my brothers and their romantic life and I hardly refrain from telling her to get real.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/23 11:51 AM

The point is that just because your mothers say most women are trash or low quality it doesn’t make them right. My dad says the same about men, it doesn’t mean he is right. It means just that our parents are pretty delusional.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/23 11:28 AM

Yeah, that’s what happens with a lot of parents. No one is good enough for their kid, but that doesn’t mean they are saying that from an objective pov.

If being childless is the source of depression and regret then you should think of what options you have to achieve your goal. Raising a kid in a difficult marriage might be even more difficult than doing it while single.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 09:00 PM

If being childless is such a problem there’s always the option to adopt. You don’t have to get married to go for that option.

this type of attention whoring is fascinating
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:45 PM
1

No, the point is to encourage for some contraceptive pill for men or some mechanical method that reverrsibly stops sperm from entering the ducts. You can’t change the anatomical facts that men don’t have wombs. But men can demand more research and investment going into individual contraceptive methods
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:40 PM
1

This example is specifically about a man that WANTS the kid
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:36 PM
1

Then push for developing contraceptives for men. That’s the obvious solution
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:31 PM
1

That just means you give up the parental rights. Doesn’t mean you are automatically exempt from paying or that the dad or kid in the later stages of life can’t take you to court if you don’t financially provide. Also the majority of countries put the kid first. So it’s not like you can just show up to court in the morning, telinquish custody and be done by 10 am.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:30 PM
1

I am obviously not fine with it. But just like women have to prove to a court they were raped, men have to do that too. You just want to play the opression olympics and act like a woman getting an abortion because she was raped isn’t a big enough emotional trauma that could even render her infertile if something goes wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:24 PM
1

We are talking about a scenario in which the dad is in the picture. You can’t put up a kid for adoption if the dad doesn’t consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:20 PM
0

Well men don’t have to literally carry that child and they can just move to avoid paying child support like other men that do it. We can play the ‘which victim is more of a victim’ gane if you’d like, but it’s pretty tasteless
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:13 PM
1

Not that they are any more gracious towards women that were raped
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 08:05 PM

no. but if he was raped a court of law has to decide that just like in any rape case so this doesn’t become the go-to excuse for deadbeats
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 07:56 PM

Yeah I think we all compete at some point for a partner. Especially before things become official and you’re in the testing waters phase. You dress nice, look at their instagram for clues about what they like or for possible conversation topics, compliments, flirting, give him an exciting peek into your life-these are all things I’ve done in the past for example. But I don’t think that a post like that understands we compete for men that are already into the type of women we represent. Because i…

The law generally does a good job at defining an unfit parent-so you know, the basic stuff like endagering a kid’s life or abandoning your kid or abusing him. Yes, by parental obligations I mean child support. The kid and the father can sue her if she doesn’t comply. This is why in countries that have a legislation centered around puting the benefit of the kid first financial abortions are not totally possible. But they do make for a fun debate i guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 07:20 PM

They might not use the same words but how men constantly talk about modern/western women and how fat/entitled/old/nagging/golddigging/insert insult it’s basically the same thing. They’re writing constantly how modern women are not marriage material so it’s a reach to say men don’t do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 05:18 AM
1

My God you think just because a woman wanted to have sex with her husband on her first date disproves what I said? She’s obviously not concerned about the things talked about in the post-but for the women that ARE concerned with this post (and I can’t believe I have to make that distinction) we all know what methods work to separate guys that have a genuine interest from guys who just want to smash.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 05:04 AM

Please, ‘logical reasons’ is a bold choice of words for what is just repeating over and over what you and your friends do and claiming it’s the majority of men. Guess what, this topic is way more broad than you and your little bubble and it’s something women chime in and always reach the same conclusion (hint-it’s not the same conclusion as yours).
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 04:44 AM

Or maybe you didn’t signal you were phisically attracted to them and they dipped because of that. It’s not the fact you didn’t tell them ‘let’s fuck’, it’s the fact you didn’t give any sexual tension.

Nothing ironic in saying portraying femininity by using words with negative connotations is icky. In fact I hope the ones that gather here and declare how much they love femininity could use the advice about the words they chose.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 04:22 AM
5

That’s a lot of projection. Many of us realise what men mean by ’femininity’ and decide for ourselves it’s not that great of a deal. It’s not adversarial, it’s just eye opening.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 04:20 AM
9

It’s something you don’t get. But for some of us imagining that a man looks at us and sees ‘emotional chaos’ or irrationality just because of our genitals is very icky. Those are phrases and words he used that have a negative connotation
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 01:36 AM
5

How are men expected to be breadwinners when women have their own jobs? Literally the expectations for men shifted towards being a helping hand when it comes to chores and being present in the raising of their kids. The other stuff you said is just mental gymnastics-you don’t have to entertain women that don’t reciprocate. In fact, if a woman likes you she will happily match your effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 01:34 AM

It’s not unfortunate. Not all women identify with this brand of femininity and it’s fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 01:31 AM

I implied he won’t put up waiting for sex if that’s the only thing he is looking for. Literally this is the point of the post-that you can tell what a man intentions are by the way he approaches waiting to have sex.

1

I was just responding to your claim that ‘I can either use the info or lose it’. If you want to interpret it as being defensive, you do you. I already adressed that there’s a small percentage of dudes that do this. So idk why it’s relevant that you and some dudes fit the exception I mentioned.

Most guys looking for sex that don’t have other options will invest time and money into swaying the mind of a girl that didn’t want to initially hook up. Also I’m not single and he’s the type of man that has options but thanks again for the anecdote.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 12:37 AM

Cap. The majority of women want a man that’s compatible with them and can match their lifestyle. Like I said men fail the core principle of traditional masculinity (which is not a bad thing, just facts about our modern world) so it gets really old and tiring to pretend you are held to some impossible standard.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/23 12:16 AM

It’s actually good advice in practice. Because some dude that’s only interested to hook-up will give up if he doesn’t get what he wants in the majority of cases. If the point of your post would have been to say this is not a foolproof method because sometimes there is a dude desperate enough to just fake interest until he gets laid-yeah sure. But no vetting method is 100% foolproof. Basically your CMV can be summed up as ‘don’t use a condom, there’s a 2% chance it won’t protect you from pregnanc…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 09:01 PM

How doesn’t it happen in reverse? You see it even here on ppd when a lot of guys take things past gfs did to them and apply them to all women. Stop being a drama queen

Or you can cheat and use a condom. Or birth control. Or other contraceptives.

you don’t get it, that stray cat chose me so i had no other option
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 08:43 PM

You don’t have to go trough a lot of relationship to figure some things out. Casual sex is less complex on the scale of human interactions and in a lot of cases it boils down to ‘right person at the right time’
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 07:47 PM
1

Maybe they just don’t have that much experience with casual sex? Unlike what the red pill preaches not every woman has a rotation of Chads. But I’m not the judge of how useful that advice is since I’m not the man and I don’t even follow this topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 07:29 PM
1

I don’t really think advice from women is meant to mirror the dating experience of a man. I think advice from women should speak about what worked for her and what a man should do to get with a woman like her.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 07:22 PM
11

Men don’t uphold all their traditional masculine ideals since only a minority are the sole providers in a relationship or marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 07:03 PM
1

Ah yeah, I’ve shared my advice on how to have casual sex here a few times. But I guess I’m more likely to give my 2 cents regarding relationships since I have more experience in this field.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 06:55 PM
2

I don’t complain when people speak in generalities about women. In fact, I expect that on a debate forum about dating and gender dynamics. Like I said, the starting point is just a reach. The age gap discourse is getting old so there has to be new fuel added by the ones that want to die on this hill.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 06:53 PM
1

I can’t remember ever being asked about casual sex. My guy friends ask for my advice when they have their eyes on someone they want to impress or get serious with.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 06:43 PM
3

Be for real, I’m talking in generalities because that’s the whole point. The MAJORITY of women doesn’t go for age gaps. The Wall is not overly simplistic since people go for partners that share the same characteristics or background as them in the MAJORITY of cases. Yeah, so ironic because two people having a 3 yo age gap are more likely to be in the same life stage compared to-let’s say-a 30 yo that has a career and some life experience and a 20 yo barely starting to navigate adult life. Seriou…

Ofc guys who are 30 are ‘gross’ for someone that’s not even 20. I can’t believe such a simple thing has to be explained-when you are 20 what qualifies as a young person is more narrow than when you are 30 and you start noticing you are also aging. What’s the lack of self awareness when literally everyone points out the statistics show 1. age gaps 10+ are not that common 2. the bigger the age gap the more chances for a relationship to fail (and this is one argument the men here conveniently overl…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 05:51 PM
2

that’s a reach, i’ve never seen someone say all younger women are turned off by age gaps. we’re saying the majority of women don’t seek age gaps and that’s obviously true if you take into account the average age difference in a relationship is 2.5 years
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 05:36 PM
15

My take is that ‘hypergamy’ is often exaggerated in rp spaces. I have a partner that’s better than me in certain areas, just as I am better than him in other areas. Everyone wants a partner that adds something to their life, regardless of gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/23 07:47 AM
1

Please stop with the mental gymnastics, you’re typing the same thing for the third time. I get you don’t like hearing women they don’t need a man and you feel personally anatoginzed-that’s your problem. A woman is free to express a message about men just like the manosphere can make the same negative ass content about women being hypergamous/gold diggers/cheating sluts/divorce rapists and so on
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/23 04:47 AM
1

Yeah, the rational people on this sub keep saying it’s a segment of younger women going for older guys, not the majority. Then the deluded guys here say women date guys around their age due to ‘social pressure’ like this post does.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 06:09 PM

The majority of them liking all that? The chances are not as high as men wished they were
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 03:49 PM

I’d say those men profit from their status not their sexuality. That would obviously be very hard to measure in an objective way but I think it can be useful to see what the views regarding these dynamics say about an individual person.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 02:48 PM
1

I agree the theoretical POV would be interesting. But at the same time I think men are more likely to get involved in discourse like that when it comes to women that have profitted from their sexuality having a relationship or a kid. That’s when they gather the collective pitchforks.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 02:33 PM

Leo is a meme at this point because no matter how you look at it, dumping someone because they reached a certain age is weird. And because he puts his bussiness out in the open people are going to express their opinions about it. A gold digger that would drop a dude based on some shallow reasoning and move on to another would get the same amount of ‘shaming’. People are not necessarly clowning the age gap per se, they are clowning the reasoning behind the age gap.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 02:02 PM
2

Look, I don’t expect you to ever admit I’m right. You’ll just pull up more excuses for the manosphere being prompted to talk about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 01:56 PM
1

the ‘be kind to everyone else in the process’ is the part they fail at
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 01:52 PM
2

I don’t care about winning. I mainly find the hipocrisy funny when I show certain men here they are also guilty of the same things they accuse women of. Have a nice day too. Also if men asked manosphere these questions, consider other women asked the ones that say they don’t need a man. Debate settled then.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 01:50 PM
2

Nobody asked the manosphere about dating and women, get real. Quit trying to save face just because the original point is weak and men are as guilty as women when it comes to complaining about the opposite gender without anyone asking.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 01:46 PM
2

Of course a 10+ year age gap is not a ‘norm’ because the vast majority of women and men are not attracted to people that much older than them. But it doesn’t mean society was ever against them-especially when the man is the older partner since men are more protected from ageism. Apart from MSM telling women you don’t have to settle for a man, there’s nothing I would count as empowering.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 01:45 PM
1

I didn’t miss the point, I just think it’s a weak one. People talk about a lot of things, dating being a pretty important subject. Following this logic the manosphere is just full of insecure men since nobody asked them anything about women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 01:39 PM
3

Women still don’t choose how they want to live their life without any shame or judgement as it’s obvious from just spending five minutes on the internet. So men want something that they themselves as a group don’t offer to women. Also age gaps are not out of ‘social norms’.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 01:22 PM
5

Nobody said women their age don’t want to fuck them.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 12:48 PM
5

Don’t care if a man says he doesn’t need a woman because it’s his fucking bussiness. It’s that simple. Also I would appreciate the fact he is a self sufficient adult that can take care of himself without needing a woman. Pretty simple. Also why should these scenarios in which a woman says that to a specific man have any relevance to the point? It’s just more mental gymnastics from your side.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 12:09 PM
3

Come on, that’s just mental gymnastics on your part. Sometimes it was the answer to a question, other times it was just straight up saying a man is not a need.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 11:44 AM
3

Never mind I know you can’t actually support these bs claims.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 09:58 AM
4

How it’s not ‘mainstream’ or just a tiny area of the internet? Men choose whatever they want to do with their lives and the fact that some people are going to disagree with a man that makes a divisive statement (mind you, same thing happens to a woman making a divisive claim) doesn’t mean men are being restrained.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 09:44 AM
4

Men have no rules placed on them as well. In fact everyone can see plenty of men making comments about women being fat/old/entitled/initiating divorces/not being mothers and so on. So how are men restraining themselves when basically 1.they can live their lives as they choose 2. they can comment on whatever thing women do?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 09:20 AM
1

I didn’t say a younger person couldn’t get that since baggage is not a thing that has an age limit to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 09:01 AM
1

I said the point is to date someone that can understand your baggage and not piss on others just because life has been unfavourable in certain circumstances for them. Also expecting someone with no baggage to get and deal with yours is a tall order.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 08:55 AM
3

The problem is that the men shouting from the rooftops about baggage are full of baggage themselves. Doesn’t take much scrolling trough subreddits like these to see it. The people coming from healthy backgrounds making healthy choices-they re not bothered by this topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 08:45 AM
1

It’s a big stretch to expect people to just be good partners without any prior experience. It’s also a big stretch to expect people to be good partners, understand the baggage you come with and also manage it in the proper way without any experience of their own. Also a big thing that it’s overlooked-and which I have unfortunately seen a lot happening around me with people that were ‘wallflowers’ and got into relationship that were unequal-you need to go trough certain things in order to learn h…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 08:38 AM
2

My fiance is a man. I don’t really think he would have been the same person without going trough those specific experiences. Our relationship would have been very different since he used to think he had to bottle all his feelings and not open up in front of a woman because he would appear weak. I would have certainly not married a man like his former self.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 08:26 AM
5

I didn’t mean that a partner would have to go trough certain things in order to understand or deal with your baggage. My fiance was never a young immigrant in a country with a more progressive culture-yet we understand eachother because we both faced a certain degree of hardships in life and gained some experience from those.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 08:18 AM
6

Just because women don’t use the same language to talk about the baggage men have it doesn’t mean it’s irrelevant. I think it’s logical to be reasonable about what ‘baggage’ is. Because men in these dating spaces overinflate and exaggerate basic human experience as baggage. Also it would be logical to want someone that can understand and deal with your baggage, not just want some emotionally blank partner to use as a crutch for your own shortcomings.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 08:02 AM
4

I don’t think I fully agree with you. Just like men, women come in two categories-there are women that would take the Mother Theresa role and try to save a broken man from his own demons (and that usually backfires in an epic way). And then there are women that are actively avoiding such men and go for ones that are actually likeable partners (and this is why there is a chunk of jaded dudes online bitching about dating).
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 07:57 AM
21

Let’s not even start on how much baggage these dudes have themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 07:41 AM
3

Generally I agree-being an adult is not that impressive if you look at the large number of individuals that achieved the same thing. But the fun part is that there is a certain group of men that gets very bothered by women claiming their financial independence gave them the option to not settle in a relationship. So it’s pretty fun to see them getting worked up over random tiktoks with 500 views.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 07:28 AM
6

If you went around my uni campus all the girls would tell you their career comes first and after that they can get a man later since there’s never a shortage. So if you go and look in places where career oriented women gather, you’re gonna find out their sentiments match with the ‘later 30s+ women’.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 07:23 AM
1

Men worth their salt expect confidence, emotional intelligence, the ability to be a good communicator and a list of other things from women. Just because ppd thinks any man is desperate to just get with any woman doesn’t mean reality matches this delusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 06:43 AM
2

Yeah you’re blind. We put plenty of effort into being good partners for men that we deem high value. From being intelectually challenging, putting work into surprising a man sexually, being a supportive partner and communicating openly and the list goes on.

Beware guys, the redpiller that works in fertility issues ‘as a hobby’ is here. Also it’s clear you haven’t even read the original post and you’re engaging with my comments just for shits and giggles

She literally says she’s been trying for years. If you have any endocrine issue for example, you sure as hell also had it when you were 20. The point was that using that post was ignorant and claiming that just ‘some’ women are lucky to conceive at 34 is also ignorant
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/23 12:10 PM
5

You know some women have fertility issues caused by other factors besides age, right? I read her post and it seems she falls in that category-plenty of women her age don’t have a hard time getting pregnant at all
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/23 09:49 AM

I work as a pediatric oncologist and the amount of crazy right wingers that like to claim a kid getting cancer was punishment for what a parent did in the past would drastically change your opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/23 09:01 AM
3

The problem is that posts like this one just make men seem desperate to choose any woman without any actual criteria. Women put a lot of work into themseves and also reach a point where they are ‘a person their girlhood self wouldn’t even recognise’ (gosh the sheer cringe of that phrase). But hey, that will never even be acknowledged by a man because he sees you as this passive thing he gets to exercise his one liners in a strategically chosen bar.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/23 08:16 AM

My point was that even tough MRA is just a small percentage of the manosphere, the youtubers that get a lot of press like to associate their discourse with systemical problems men face while not doing anything to raise awareness or draw support to these causes.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/23 02:40 PM
1

I asked what the manosphere and redpill has specifically done. If they would support MRA causes, considering the fact they rack up hundreds of millionsnof views, they could raise awareness and money for these real causes that impact men. But they don’t. That’s the bottom line.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/23 12:41 PM

Those girls just added their confessions because it became sort of a meme that the caleb dude got around. The ones that started the trend and connected the dots were lamenting because they dated only him. Pretty simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/23 04:52 AM

Except there’s no actual proof they were dating other men at the time. Most of them came to the revelations after they shared matching stories of going on a date and then getting ghosted by the same guy. For some reason they are not allowed to share they went on a date with this dude? They didn’t initiate any sort of campaign against him or made any callouts to threaten the dude in any way. It all started as ‘dating in nyc is trash’. They didn’t ‘stick any mob’-but guess what, people tend to not…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/23 02:04 AM

They never get how ironic is that they are hailing a pimp as a supporter of traditionalist values. Also it’s ok for Tate to profit from the lonely men that pay his cam girls but God forbid women make OnlyFans.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/23 01:23 AM
3

Yeah, I might learn how women actually put more effort into getting more custody of their kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 11:49 PM
2

Point is how common is that? Because if you actually do the math-there’s no way dating in the same tax bracket means the majority of women date men that make 50k$ more per year.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 11:41 PM
2

You have to be joking when the post mentions several systemic issues men face and your answer is basically ‘some youtuber made a video about making your ig enticing’. There’s nothing that can ruin your credibility more than that. Compare what feminism actually achieved for women to the achievements you listed in this comment. It’s damn laughable.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 10:44 PM

How were they doing the exact same thing since they were the ones getting lovebombed then ghosted? Unfortunately for him some women shared their dating experiences online which is their right and came to the conclusion they dated the same dude. How it’s hypocritical to be angry that you got ghosted by someone that agressively pursued you? They were not even the ones that contacted his employer-but I get it, it sucks for men when women come forward and say ‘this dude is sus’. I don’t think men wa…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 10:21 PM
3

Yeah, because obviously that’s such a common example.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 10:15 PM

Moms also agressively pursue custody battles and spend a lot of money. But hey, whenever I don’t want to do something I also make up a bunch of excuses to justify my actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 10:14 PM

The bar for attacking men is so low that y’all internalise any random woman that appears in a video that says what she would want in a partner. Also the fact that women gather on social media to tell their story on how they encountered a man that was deceitful (like West elm caleb) is shaming apparantly. But sure, it’s an ‘attack on men’ to say what you’d personally like. It’s not an attack when thousands of randos will screech that a woman has too much ‘baggage’ or that she is ‘objectifying’ me…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 05:32 PM
9

Literally anyone regardless of gender would love to be in a position that gives them access to money. They date in the same tax bracket. How does that count as dating up?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 03:55 PM
9

People date and marry in their own tax bracket. Also the majority of men today can’t support a family just from their own income-so they fail at the basic requirement of trad masculinity.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 03:45 PM
7

There was a user here that had a great comment debunking most of the myths about family court that rp peddles. Mainly how men that actually apply for split custody get it. Should have saved her comment for cases when questions like this one appear.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 03:21 PM
7

Probably because traditional marriage is a status symbol nowadays. You can only afford it if you have a certain income-so ofc women that want a life of leisure will be drawn to that edit: I remember having a talk with someone here about women from traditonal societies having much harsher expectations from men than your typical western woman. That’s why men often times like the idea of being perceived as this masculine leader but when time comes to rise to the ocassion they turn bitter fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 02:52 PM

That was work inside the home that was not payed. So they had no financial indeendence. I also tend my garden and prepare lunch for my partner when I can-but that doesn’t make me feel like I can cosplay as a tradwife
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 02:45 PM
18

Being a traditional man means being the sole provider of the family. The majority of modern men can’t do that so they fail at the most basic requirement of traditional masculinity. Paying for dates to signal your interest doesn’t make you some traditional man. You also have the option to not pay and find a woman that goes Dutch. It’s within men’s control.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 02:21 PM
19

How are men held to traditional standards when the majority of women work?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 02:11 PM
1

Plenty of women have children in their 30s without any problem. It’s objectively false a woman can’t provide this hypothetical man with a family. If he wants to pass on that for whatever reason-then deal with the consequences of being alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 12:11 PM

Or maybe they simply dislike or are inconvenienced by the idea. But where would the fun be if some men wouldn’t act like they know better what goes on inside a woman’s mind?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 11:42 AM
3

Why would someome think it’s logical or completely reasonable to get this worked up over what a stranger wants in a partner? Those women just state what they want and the men online just like to catastrophize and say ‘men are treated like objects’ or ‘the man’s side is never considered’. Obviously those women are not forcing themselves on any man so that’s just stupid to say. And the majority of women still don’t have those high standards if you look at who they date or have relationships with. …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 11:09 AM

No, I hold the accountable for the shit they say or do since everyone can see what they comment online. You can’t hide behind the excuse of ‘it’s just content creators’. Also came across a few while I was still in my native country and they would just spam you on sm.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 10:49 AM

You have to question why there aren’t more economically accesible alternatives to get clothes. Ethical consumerism is something which is accesible only to people that can afford it. But I don’t expect any nuance from someone that’s hellbent to see the negatives in everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 10:35 AM

People can care about more than one thing at the same time, you know. Also it’s cringy men air their shit for everyone to see but can’t handle the reactions and victimise themselves. ‘stopping men from obtaining sex’ is the cringiest phrases on ppd-and the bar is high for that
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 01:32 AM

Better than your sample size of assuming shit just based on how people look.

I got the timeline just right. Men have been whining about feminism and masculine women long before the passport bros gained traction online. Also it’s funny how the passport bros are so happy that they have to come back online just to run their mouths endlessly about women they claim to not like.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 01:24 AM

It’s very common knowledge and fast fashion and ethical consumerism have been debated plenty of times. Just because you don’t want to admit it and your only response is that ‘haha people buy iphone’ just shows you don’t actually care about the problem besides trying to own the other side. Or men come online, willingly say some gross shit and throwing fits about modern women and then they get surprised when people disagree with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 01:22 AM

how is it different? you said only a certain demographic of women cares and now you are backtracking on it also dicaprio is a meme at this point. i’m under 30 and while i don’t care for him, i see the memes everywhere

I am engaged to a man that’s very conventionally attractive. He hasn’t ever been with a woman that’s not nice looking or attractive by average standards. I know his thought process and I also know he wouldn’t have to go for women he deems undesirable since he gets plenty of opportunities.

Just go to any leftist space and you’ll see how women and men debate about capitalism, immigration, exploitation and all the issues you listed. Just because you’re biased to see only one thing doesn’t mean it’s true.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/23 12:35 AM

It’s seriously deluded to think you can say modern women are shitty and parrot the whole passport bro discourse and expect no one to react to that. Perfect example of someone that can only throw it but can’t catch it.

Attractive men with options don’t need placeholders. That’s among the dumbest mental gymnastics seen on ppd and that’s a high bar to reach. I’m not projecting the way women feel onto men. It’s much more plausible that a dude that tolerates you because he can’t get another woman would rather treat you like a placeholder instead of the dude that chose you out of the multiple options he has.

1

I answered your question already, you just don’t like my answer. The choosing aspect is not irrelevant. And men might have whatever ideal they want, but the women they CHOSE is their current peak. Just like for the dude that’s short on options the woman he tolerates is his peak.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 11:42 PM

How convenient to ignore some tasks are done literally everyday while others are things that have to be taken care of once in a while.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 11:36 PM
3

The funny thing with inconsistent logic like this is that it starts with the premise that an unattractive man gets the best he can do but the attractive man with more options is ‘slumming’. Spoiler alert-the attractive man is with the woman he chose.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 11:23 PM
10

How convenient you took the traditionally masculine role and said it’s expected from both genders and no longer exclusive to males but you draw the line at cooking and cleaning which are still feminine duties.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 11:20 PM
6

That’s just projection. How a man treats you has no connection to how attractive he is, the only connection is to his character. But just like another user pointed out here, some men that don’t have as much success with dating have to c0pe by making up these scenarios
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 11:15 PM
7

There are men that care about a woman’s career. I’ll take you to the hospital with me and you’ll see I have plenty of male colleagues that would never date a woman that doesn’t have a good career or a good credit score. Also people generally date and marry in their tax bracket and wealthy people generally care a lot about the financial background of their partner for a multitude of reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 11:06 PM

50 shades started as a twilight fanfic. that explains everything
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 10:48 PM

If outsourcing male tasks wouldn’t be as common there wouldn’t be literal bussinesses centered on that. Also women work and financially contribute to the household so they already took on the traditionally masculine roles.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 10:46 PM
20

Cooking and cleaning are everyday tasks. Fixing the roof is a task that is easy to outsourced just like changing oil. The majority of men will never chase a burglar in their life.

not all sex is intimate by default. and not all physical intimacy requires sex. so while in a lot of cases they go together, i do think they are separate no no unless their sex drive affects their life in some way or they can’t function as an adult, no.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 09:43 PM
3

Because it’s a stupid assumption. It’s like saying men with less options will treat you badly because they have gained a lot of resentment from past experiences. Generalisations are pointless.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 09:32 PM
2

I’ve talked only with one woman irl that was repulsed by sex. She grew up heavily influenced by purity culture and depictions of sex as being something that lowers your value and makes you dirty. So I think it’s a combination of them considering all sex partners as bad (due to some previous experiences in the past) or them not even considering sex can be good (due to a strict upbringing).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 08:39 PM
1

I think it’s pretty obvious their dislike of sex is shaped by their previous experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 08:32 PM

There is no queer theory that advocates for pedophilia. Also religious books are full of very questionable things because they were written during times where people conducted themselves in different ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 08:23 PM
5

All it takes is just seeing how a lot of guys here say a dude that’s very attractive or a Chad will treat a woman worse than a dude that’s not as attractive. Just like you said, both genders like to categorise people based on their appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 08:14 PM

So if I find an example of a pastor that assaulted a kid that means religion supports pedos?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 08:05 PM

I had the pedos mixed up. Thanks for pointing that out, after a google search I saw he was one of the three that wrote the article about the dangers of child sexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 07:54 PM

the fact you and other 2 people agree doesn’t mean much to me. i am arguing that men should be held to the same standards they enforce, something which they don’t like
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 06:52 PM

Uh dude I was referring to the Chris Rock quote about only women being loved unconditionally which a lot of the manosphere guys like to spread everywhere. That was the point of the comment. I didn’y say ‘women can’t love’ was originated by him.

And to my knowledge she was fired multiple times for being an outspoken feminist figure and ‘corrupting the youth’. I also consider you bring 0 proof for the claims you’ve made. /r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 06:06 PM

Actually it seems that men don’t consider bullying when they start jerking off dicaprio for not dating postwall women and congratulating him sitting next to a 19 yo. So if men don’t hold themselves accountable for all the ageist bs and the things they say about older women I have no reason to offer them any grace.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 05:55 PM
1

I classify spreading stuff about her being a nonce as spewing bs, I don’t care if you consider her a good philosopher or not. I’m sure you are an active MeToo supporter since you are very keen to spread speculations about a woman that lived decades ago. I’m sure you don’t apply these weird mental gymnastics just because we’re talking about a historical figure you’re not fond of.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 05:53 PM
3

What’s hateful or agressive about people saying he is weird for dropping partners after a certain age? He could very well keep that to himself if he doesn’t like people expressing their opinions.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 05:41 PM
1

Do you understand how sometimes people with ulterior motives attach themselves to a movement in order to push the standards on what is considered acceptable behaviour? That was the whole point-the pedos had to rebrand because literally everyone jumped from the boat when the discussion turned to 12-13 yo consenting to sex and shit like that. Your point is what every desperate atempt to discredit Beavoir does-make up some bs about her that nobody can prove because there’s no time machine to see if…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 05:36 PM

Cool, now you can see why only three of the original authors rebranded with ‘The danger of child sexuality’ and lost the support of the other original co-signers. Hopefully you can link the dots.

Bullying for stating their opinions and keeping him relevant? what a low bar
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 05:19 PM

What female gossip bullying? He could just mind his bussiness and stop fishing for public attention. But since these relationships are PR stunts they have to be shoved down our throats.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 05:15 PM
1

The question of the quote being accurate is dumb-because people co-signed the part about sodomy and age of consent for homosexuals relationships being higher than for heterosexual ones. Which you’d actually know if you actually read the paper instead of googling for some gotcha. Love has a pragmatic side to it no matter what gender you are. But I’m glad you’re able to say something that’s even vaguely on topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 05:13 PM
1

I admit the petition existed and that the concern was the articles about sodomy. And also the fact that the age of consent for homosexual relations was 21, which was the point of the discussion about minors consenting to sex. The point was that a bunch of French intelectuals at the time supported it because it aligned with the sexual liberation movement. They were even supported by intelectuals from a very wide spectrum of fields, even pediatricians. I have no idea why the hell am I supposed to …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 05:05 PM
1

Because I have to search that for myself and see if that’s objective or not. Considering the fact you spewed bs about the age of consent debate in French, you’re not exactly a reliable source.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 04:44 PM
2

I didn’t say youth is all that women find attractive, but he is objectively unattractive for a man his age. The clout is what generates the emotions and the dude that has money is easily replaceable.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 04:30 PM
1

It doesn’t trigger women. It’s just funny to watch the mental gymnastics coming from men on this subject.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 04:05 PM

Look for a guy that did the same thing and ask him. I generally believe we should look up to people that achieved the things we want before us and see what worked for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 03:50 PM
1

You mean she advocated against the articles in the age of consent law that talked about sodomy and ‘relationships against nature’ that reffered to gay people? Because Foucault and Sartre supported the same petition she signed lmfao
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 03:49 PM
1

I don’t disagree. They love clout-not necessarly the dude they have to date in a PR stunt to get clout lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 03:40 PM
2

I can only tell you what I did, I’m no spokeperson for all women. I lead with what I consider to be my strenghts-being witty, having an outgoing personality and having artistic hobbies. Also acting a lil cold works great for guys that are used to not doing a lot of work to get women’s attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 03:39 PM

Just because he dates some younger women that want his clout doesn’t mean he is actually attractive to them. PR relationships have been a thing since forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 03:31 PM

And they can very well be if they play it smart. Just like men can land women that are hotter than them.

how did he bend the knee? also it’s funny how you don’t consider the fact he really isn’t attractive nowadays. those titanic days are long gone
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 03:20 PM

You need to find only one person to break out of it in order to be succesful. And if going for people that are more conventionally attractive than you is your goal, nothing is really stoping you. Attraction works in a lot of ways and you just have to play your cards rights.

The obvious hole in your logic is that a man is not above a woman’s pay grade if he gets with her. He chose willingly to be with her because there is something about her that got him hooked despite what others think about it. The whole ‘above your pay grade’ point is just bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 06:43 AM

Your statements have nothing to back them up. You keep clinging onto the fact that actions and feelings can be separable but obviously men that cheat or leave a woman they claimed to love UncOndItIonAlLy didn’t google the definition of the word. Or they don’t realise the fact they felt like ruining her self-esteem and trust is at odds with the ‘unconditional’ part. When your own momentary feelings come over the unconditional love you claim to feel for your partner-that’s when it’s not unconditio…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/23 06:20 AM

Don’t care with what mental gymnastics men come up with to avoid accountability. If you love someone unconditionally, you’re not gonna hurt their self esteem in ways that can be irreversible. If your unconditional love is not backed up by actions I’ve got some news for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 05:19 PM

He is a man. It’s funny how ‘look at what they do not what they say’ doesn’t apply to men here. Look at his actions and the actions of other millions of men that prove they don’t love women unconditionally. Hopefully I won’t have to make the same point for the fourth time.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 05:12 PM

Yeah, because pointing out the source can’t love a woman unconditionally is a fallacy. Please google what an ad hominem is.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 05:06 PM

I’ve said it a few times here-RP took the ‘men are not loved unconditionally’ shtick from a comedian that cheated on his wife. That answere any questions about how serious that statement should be taken

Wealthy men rarely marry or date broke women. They are not in their circles or proximity and in a lot of cases people from wealthy backgrounds either marry eachother or someone that is succesful enough on their own.

Ignoring that the studies about pair bonding say there is also a correlation for high n men to pair bond less, ignoring that a higher body count also correlates with more drug consumption, cheating tendencies and instability in men too, showing just half of the 80/20 okcupid study (OLD has a gender ratio that heavily favours men; also men still ended up messaging the more attractive women).

Some younger women like older men. But generally people end up with fairly age matched partners. So does it happen? Yeah. Are all younger women attracted to older men? No. Does society tell a woman it’s wrong to date older men? This is a fairly recent thing-age gap discourse is pretty new. But I’m sure the women that are into older men don’t really care about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 12:02 AM

Well Joey Swolle (I think that’s his name) does a good job at showing that some women are unreasonable when they do that and he gets a lot of support. Honestly don’t know. There was a picture posted by the US Military if I remember correctly that showed their women and queer members and conservatives lost their shit about it and lamented that women and queer people are too weak to defend a country. It got me wondering how this topic becomes paradoxical because the side that mainly whines about feminism loses their marbles in a scenario like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 10:31 PM

I’m sure that happens in some cases. I’m curious tho if the virginity question popped up because of a lack of chemistry, flirting or sexual tension. Because ime people just have sex, having some kind of talk about body count or virginity is not the default.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 10:14 PM

do you really think a woman that finds you attractive enough to sleep with is gonna ask if you’re a virgin?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 09:52 PM

i’m 25. for someone my age i’d say 15-20 is where a bodycount gets high.

If this were my first rodeo on ppd there might have been a chance to agree with you. But since it’s not and I’ve seen the way men act here and the things they say-there’s a low percentage of valid criticism coming from men. Mostly it’s just an echo chamber for men to whine and pat themselves on the back that they’re right.

There were lots of marriages of convenience because of the benefits that people got by having the married status. I wasn’t surprised by the high divorce rate because I alteady knew lots of people married young to get better access to jobs, housing or the chance to move to a bigger city. Not because they were compatible or in love. I always had an interest in the social dynamics in the past and how they influenced the present. That’s how I know life after a divorce wasn’t easy for a woman.

Forming families was heavily encouraged trough granting certain advantages to married couples. Men still had more authority in their families than women had. Men represented the state. I think those questions are fairly stupid tbh. Adulthood is not something that happens over night; you don’t magically turn into an adult the moment you turn 18. Recognising maturing is a process and we should allow teens to come into it doesn’t mean we consider them incapable of body autonomy. It means we consider we should prepare them to exercise their body autonomy at one point. Plenty of people say age gap relationships are no biggie after both parties have reached some basic adulthood mile…

A big part of their youth is very right leaning and the more you go to the rural areas the less progressive people are. This remind me a lot of my homecountry which was also under a communist regime.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 01:32 PM

I can’t seriously believe someone is asking something like that. I’m from an ex communist country-who do you think represented the party and state? Who do you think died because abortion was illegal? Who do you think could have been beaten to death by a spouse without any legal consequence because domestic violence was no biggie? Who do you think worked a job and did everything related to housekeeping at the same time? But sure, nothing patriarchal about that
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 01:08 PM

So what about the wars that happened for thousands of years before capitalism was born lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 01:05 PM

The point is that Ukraine was never feminist to begin with. So the argument is really dumb. Patriarchy stays because it never left.

For the majority of women under 25 a man in the 35-45 range is very unappealing. I’m barely over 25 and a 45 yo feels like a geriatric. This advice has to be a joke

i’m sure those happiness rates are very trustworthy. after all happiness is something you can obiectively measure and we shouldn’t take into account that the most common advice older women give to their younger peers is to never be dependant on a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:36 AM

have you ever heard the jokes older people make about marriage? all boomer humour is about having a nagging wife and how a man looses his freedom once he gets married. yeah, sounds very healthy and modern people should get back to that instead of having freedom to choose what they deem best

The point is that because of the rules at the place I volunteer at what we have to present girls and boys with all the available options of a career path, not just skip some because they aren’t generally liked by one gender. So this is why I see how the 60/40 is easy to explain by the fact there are a lot of majors that are not appealing to men so of course they won’t go for it. I’m asking again-how can the number of girls and boys be equal if they are not equally interested in the fields that a…

Your are the prime example of what I said-men here dodge accountability for the actions of the majority by throwing buzzwords around. Yes, I’m happy to see my theory proven right once again.

Don’t ask me-ask the people that complain non-stop how it’s not fair that men are obligated to fight for a country that has always been ruled by a patriarchal culture and that it’s the fault of feminists for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:04 AM

See, this is one of the tactics men here use when I tell them men also do certain thing. They throw buzzwords like feminine men/soyboy/betas and try to exclude themselves from the group that does that. Funny how that goes. Also men do it here everyday too. Pay more attention

You keep saying badmouthing women is not done in polite society and keep pushing the misandry card when the reality is misandry isn’t and wasn’t ever as popular as misogyny. That’s the point. I used to think the same as you that we should crack on both but I got tired of men not making the effort. There are dudes (that despite the fact misogyny is verbotem or whatever c**e y’all tell yourselves) built platforms of millions of misogynystic dudes and heavily profit from that. We throw that word for the category of men that claim it was a vindictive woman that kept them from being present fathers. When in reality things don’t work out like that and courts don’t decide who keeps the kid based on vibez or just because a woman said a man is violent. There is a great comment here that’s the second most upvoted that debunks the myths men conveniently entertain about family courts.

It’s hypocritical to expect women to have the self control you lack. That’s all and no amonut of mental gymnastics are going to convince people that it’s not. If you engage in a certain behaviour yet judge harshly others that do that too (and which make that behaviour possible for you since in order to have casual sex you need to find women that are down for it)-you’re a hypocrite and people are allowed to call you out on it.

The problem is that whatever the man is bothered by is not explicitly stated-the women mainly say their atempt to communicate about the low points of a relationship are labeled as nagging. No one ever used ‘emotional pregnancy’ or ‘emotional virginity’. I appreciate your commitment to the shtick of not getting some very obvious concept. It’s not armchair psychoanalysis, it’s just your faulty logic biting you in the ass. But I’m sure you’ll suddenly have an epiphany and understand what emotional cheating is if it ever happened in your relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/23 06:40 PM
1

So you can come up with a definition yourself-you’re either a beta hubby or just the regular ppd dude that has to twist any obvious concept in something that can be blamed on women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/23 06:14 PM
1

So just because they didn’t add the phrase ‘someone you have romantic feelings for’ you decided to come up with that bs explanation? Is it really that complicated to realise the nature of feelings is what makes it cheating? No, you use the word gaslighting more freely than a 15 yo that went trough their first breakup.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/23 05:44 PM

Just because you fail to understand a simple concept it doesn’t mean it’s gaslighting. Also the way you use the term ‘gaslighting’ so freely makes you a prime candidate to be the editor of a magazine for teens

I’ve seen your argument plenty of times here-still doesn’t account for the many negative corelatioks of a high bc or for the fact that average women still report a lower bodycount than average men (because having more options doesn’t mean you act on them).
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 10:57 AM
2

It’s irrelevant to the fact that there are many negative corelations that can be traced to men with high bc.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 09:50 AM
3

The literature finds that high bc corelates with higher chances of cheating, drug use or personality disorders for BOTH genders. I know the point that a man has to work for sleeping with more women but that doesn’t mean this double standard suddenly becomes acceptable to everyone. Also the same study that said pair bonding is lowered by a higher body count specifically says the same applies for men-so as you can see there are plenty of negative corelations of a high body count for men too.

It’s not a humans rights violation-these dudes are not detained without charges. They actually have three charges. But the prosecutors here are not obligated to present their evidence until the trial starts. They can decide to detain them from a maximum of six months to further work on the case (which they have been doing so far) and colaborate with the UK embassy (they are foreign citizens). /r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 04:54 AM

I don’t think they are going to be found innocent. There are a few signs indicating that-the fact the department against organised crime got involved and not just the police and the main prosecutor of the case having a strong trackrecord against human traffickers. Also no prosecutor would want to embarass our country as some place were human rights are violated, especially since western media already paints our legal system as a joke
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 11:32 PM
1

They obviously have reasons to do so. They are just not obligated to present the evidence until the trial. Since the end of december the prosecutors have done even more digging on other people that were affilliated with the brothers. Add in the fact that these dudes are not romanian citizens and that our organised crime investigation is also working with the UK government on discovering what other things they have been investigated for in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 11:19 PM
1

No. The law here works in a different way. He can be detained up to six months and evidence is usually presented at the trial. The prosecutors are under no obligation to make their evidence public before the trial.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 11:08 PM

Lol he is getting a due process and the prosecutors are not doing anything out of the ordinary. They can detain him up to six months while the case is finished and this is what they have done since the end of December. They also questioned people that were affiliated with the brothers

Honestly if I were in that situation I would chose the option that represents the smaller ick. Sex work is a popular topic right now and I think there are better chances to find women that are okay with men engaging in this under ethical conditions. The majority of people don’t even reach 10 sexual partners. If I remember correctly, women reported having something like 7 different partners over the years. The point that the majority of women have like 30+ bodies or are damaged by casual sex is another weird trope men here perpetuate.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 04:06 PM
3

The responses to his question contradict you dude
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 03:13 PM
2

What you replied doesn’t contradict what I said. If men prefer women that are 5 years younger, 30 yo women can pair with 35 yo men. The point is the ‘tatted up’ narrative and saying how the 30 yo women spent their youth hooking up is a very tired trope
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 03:01 PM
4

The post mainly focuses on dating. That’s why OP talks about men that see women as their enemies in dating
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:46 PM
13

And a desirable man that’s 35 can easily date an early 30s woman. I just find it weird how dudes say they don’t want jaded women yet they are so jaded themselves they parrot stuff like this. There are plenty of women that are single at 30 and didn’t hook up in their youth, relationships just don’t work out sometimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:41 PM
2

I don’t care for warning from randos on ppd, I care only about the women I see succeeding in real life and how to be like them
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:34 PM
15

in order for their arguments to hold water they have to generalise all 30 women as single moms with tattoos
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:33 PM
1

The famous study that claims single women are happier than married women, duh. See how everyone can weaponise these surveys to fit their agendas?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:31 PM
2

I’m doing just fine. Just like the women I chose to mentor me on this path
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:30 PM
1

yeah, i really trust that the women who couldn’t own land or open a bank account or vote would openly admit they’re not happy
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:29 PM
8

are we supposed to hate them?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:25 PM
9

So then what’s the point of men complaining women generally date up? Basically y’all are complaining about women you don’t generally want to date or consider bitchy by default
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:22 PM
42

I never wanted a traditional relationship and I don’t have conservative views so I wouldn’t have been compatible with a trad-con. I always wanted a relationship that is 50/50 so I excluded all men that didn’t want to help with house chores or wanted to be the leader of the relationship. Also avoided the men that OP described in the post that are very jaded and have mainly negative views of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 01:31 PM
41

I don’t see men as enemies. But when I was searching for relationships I quickly learned there are some types I should avoid at all costs since we are not compatible.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 12:54 PM
21

Like I said in a reply to a comment here, men like to play this ‘women want high earners’ card when they can use it to their benefit to seem disadvantaged or say dating is unfair. But if they actually get to date a woman that earns more, the majority doesn’t like that. Anyway, for a man that got laid, had relationships and has more interesting hobbies than the average person, you seem to have a hard time understanding how your requirements shrink your dating pool. Also you use apps where people …

Mainstream man is obese or overweight himself. At least in the US. He also seems to like pointing fingers at the other gender for shit he also does

Or people are free to have their own bpundaries in relationships. Want to watch porn? Find one of the millions of women who is okay with it. No sane woman will give up on her boundaries because men come up with pussy cartel conspiracy theories.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 11:41 AM
18

And men don’t want a woman earning more than them. Been there, done that and I’m convinced men use this card whenever is convenient for them to seem like they are disadvantaged by the dating landscape. The majority of men is not supportive of a dynamic like this and don’t know how to be cheerleaders (kudos to the small percentage that know how to do that)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 11:30 AM

Obviously the women that invest that much time and effort into becoming very skilled and powerful in their profession do it because they are passionate and driven. Some might not find romantic succes (just like some men won’t) but they have the means and freedom to fill their lives with different things. Society is just more forgiving of someone being unhappy and married than someone being slightly unhappy and unmarried (even tough they don’t drag down another man or woman with them in a dull re…

It’s actually because they’ve experienced the downsides of adhering to strict gender roles. I remember my grandma told me the day I graduated that she’s so happy I’ll get to experience the world because she had a very ‘small’ life. Also considering the fact that in the western world people generally get married around 28-29 it’s possible to have it all like in the scenario you described.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 02:14 AM

Then why do women that lived this kind of lifestyle mostly tell young women to pursue the opposite of it?

err no. and you also have zero proof to back up all the claims you have made in these comments so far. i genuinely wonder why people have this sort of blind belief that the opposite gender will just do some things and you have no control over that

The main narrative is against forced gender roles wether you are a man or a woman. There’s some people on the extremes of the spectrum that have a problem because society is shifting from just puting people into a box based on genitals and cry that masculinity and femininity are not automatically pedestalized. Teaching boys and men to have some social intelligence when approaching women is far from a bad thing. Lack of reading the room is what prevents a good chunk of people from having romantic…

Maybe if you actually think who doesn’t support it you’ll realise it’s the right leaning people. So go have a chat with them about that. There’s no main narrative bullshit. Don’t be a creep and don’t approach people that don’t want to. Two very common sense rules to follow. I don’t see how the type of people that don’t respect others wish for private space need any support, but you’re free to die on that hill if that’s your wish

Yeah it goes both ways. Where I am from the scammers dream of finding a LBH (Loser back home) that’s gonna send them money without ever meeting. The issue will always be for me the power dynamic and the entitlement of westerners that exploit these inequality loopholes

Bruh I didn’t make no ‘grandiose psychological pathology’. This topic is about sex tourism in poorer countries and you and others play the whataboutism card that if you have critiques against it you ‘ham project it upon every guy who ever had sex with someone of a different nationality’. This is just arguing in bad faith when y’all don’t even want to stick to the topic of men purposefully going to poorer countries to get laid because they want to leverage their money. It’s not some vague forums,…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 06:04 PM

Just like plenty of dudes here, you have a problem understanding what this topic was about. This is literally pointless since you’re moving the goalposts constantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 05:46 PM

Well, my bar for someone ‘criticizing’ is higher than yours. You just repeat the same word without bringing any sources or examples-this is hardly a critique, it’s more likely a kid pointing fingers
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 05:36 PM
5

It’s not unhinged projection. It’s funny how dudes like you that play the victim card and say people have a different attitude towards women engaging in this have zero proof to back it up. It’s crickets. Of course no actual source is good enough when you have nothing to back your point
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 05:33 PM

I’ve never heard a secure person saying shit like ‘you never know completely if you’re played or not’. It’s not cuantum physics to learn how to test for that
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 04:50 PM

Plenty of campaigns and social discourse about recognising and legalising sex work, you conveniently ignore those. Also there’s no law against approaching a woman without being a creep and against her wishes. Nothing problematic about that

6

SIGN language offender right here. Also a geography offender
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 03:31 PM

Sure, nothing wrong with it. But there are plenty of cases where prostitution is a desperate solution for people in need. I’ve seen it plenty of times in my native country where these dudes think they’ll find their submissive cheap wives.

Lmao, feminine predation is constantly shamed. Y’all live in some fantasy bubbles

/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 03:12 PM

What end goal? Taking advantage of the poor socioeconomic conditions of people that have been less favoured in life? Yeah, I consider my shit doesn’t stink as bad since I don’t engage in this
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 03:10 PM
4

How are you comparing Miami to people going to Zimbabwe or Thailand? You have no idea what sex tourism means in the context of these discussions and it’s pointless to argue
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 03:07 PM
4

And I’m saying this ain’t nowhere as common among women. I would be down with this cause if you and the guys commenting would want to bring awareness that this shit can happen also with a women perpetrator, but instead your goal is just to victimise men
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 03:03 PM

It’s absolutely pointless to argue when y’all can’t stay on topic and deflect

Idk man, go look for yourself what shit goes down on those sex tourism and passport bros spaces. If you don’t find it problematic, that’s your opinion. But that doesn’t mean others are not free to have their own opinion too. As much as men like to parrot accountability here, it’s funny how they just can’t handle any negative opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 02:36 PM

communist flag parade=lots of red flags I don’t think you’re gonna teach her any lesson. Obviously she doesn’t think any of the men she sees right now are worthy of commiting to, so you’re most likely just her entertainment until a better prospect enters the picture.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 12:29 PM

No, I know some of them specifically seek those destinations because they have a bbc fetish for example. Sex tourism shouldn’t get grouped with random people that go on vacation and happen to get laid
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 12:27 PM
6

They do it, they also get judged when they are exposed to the public that they exploit african men looking for a green card or ferishize asian men. These are recent examples I’ve seen online. They also don’t really gather online to shame the men from their own countries, talk about creepy encounters with minors and so on. It’s obviously they don’t engage in this practice as much since you don’t see them whining how they are ditching western men for others from poorer countries
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 12:25 PM
7

I know there are women that do that and I already pointed out people perceive them as predators when they see what they are up to. I just stated their number is not as high comparable to men and they don’t initiate online smearing campaigns of the men from their home countries. You just want people to not have an opinion when men engage in this thing and air out the nasty details.

Y’all specifically leave out the pile of nasty things people discovered about the bankrupt guy in order to paint him as a victim. But whatever, let’s get to the point. This stereotype about sex tourism is one that men themselves contribute to. All the forums, lingo and online discourse about finding cheap and submissive women is free for anyone to see. Everyone is free to make their decision about these guys by judging what they expose about themselves. Women don’t engage in sex tourism at the s…

Depends where you are in Eastern Europe. Big cities? Dating is pretty liberated, people get married later in life, dating apps are popular. Rural area? More conservative, people are generally more religious and have a traditional approach to dating and marriage
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 02:40 AM

Your first comment turns this issue into something deeper than it actually is. People don’t care an unattractive dude got laid in a foreign country. People just react to a dude that admits to being scummy and contributes to stereotyping women from a different part of the world. When you say shit like this publicly, don’t expect everyone to pat you on the back
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 02:32 AM
1

I don’t get why everyone should just accept he talks about sex in a crass way. Probably the difference is that I come from a place where people are blunt, but what’s wrong in saying this dude says scummy things? Why the need to defend him?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/22 02:14 AM
0

The way they talk about it is scummy. These dudes never frame sex as an experience they shared with a foreign woman, they talk about it as an experience he bought from another woman. I’m Romanian and we have different acronyms for foreign dudes that come here hoping to fuck some submissive and cheap eastern women. The majority of us don’t like the attitude of these dudes

no, you see women with all kinds of men. women’s attraction is more holistic, something men don’t really get since they have only one main requirement
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/22 10:46 PM
2

Nah, it’s about guys that don’t understand not all women are attracted to the same specific type of man. The scenario you gave still doesn’t disprove the fact a woman can be attracted to multiple kinds of men. I think looking at someone’s dating history gives you a better understanding of what they like.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/22 07:44 PM
2

nope, it’s jealousy because men that don’t fit their definition of ‘attractive’ get attention
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/22 07:20 PM

from what i’ve seen, it stems from jealousy. so i think it’s pointless to further engage with men like that.

Lots of excuses for guys that are shooting above their leagues. Those girls at least would think that after getting some actual attention from better looking guys.

I think one of the best examples of a character that is considered to be ‘a man written by a woman’ is the priest from Fleabag. The point is not that he’a a hot, tall or rich Chad, it’s about the way he acts. The Swaddle has a short video on youtube that explains this better if you want to watch it Here it is

most folks might know but there are ones out there that don’t want to. it’s not an ‘anti man’ thing to know what to look out for and femcel is a stretch

why do you have to debunk it? it’s the reality that they have to be careful not to end up with someone like that because it will tank their relationship or marriage

/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/22 08:41 PM

brazil is the chad of the world cup, they won five times. croatia is an underdog compared to that
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/22 08:24 PM

I assume not many of you watch the world cup since ppd is very us centric but seeing Croatia win against Brazil was great. I love it when the underdog wins

how are we going to share a small pack of chips? very unmanly of you

i can back up that i’m pretty balanced. nothing high and mighty about not falling into an extreme tho
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 05:04 PM

and your comments amount to what? getting worked up i told someone to give the misogyny a rest for the weekend?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 04:44 PM

your comment would make sense if i’d make lots of misandrist comments. i’m just wondering if he ever takes a break
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 04:29 PM

how don’t y’all get bored of this? it’s the weekend, take a break from the gender wars and do something fun

that’s because they can’t handle even half of what they dish.

Appearantly to some people this comparison makes sense. And we’re supposed to seriously engage with it
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 01:43 AM
1

Yeah, I am on PPD and I am aware men use any random internet comment to paint themselves as a victim of those age gap harpies. The burden on proof is on you when you try to equate age and race. If you want a crumble of the discrimination pie, at least do a better job at arguing for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 01:17 AM
1

I didn’t move any goalpost, you just don’t have any refutation. An interracial marriage is still political ammo for the two parties, age gap relationships never were. You’re not providing any evidence of the ostracization of age gaps or any actual real life consequences that people face because they have an age gap relationships. Also the controversery is not ‘broad’ or ‘cultural’
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 01:05 AM
1

I stay on topic but you’re not providing any actual examples. Are you following the news that they are voting in the american senate to have interracial marriage codified in the law? It literally happened on wednesday. No such thing for age gaps
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 12:46 AM
1

It’s not settled, because people went trough that. Why do you think america had to legalise interracial marriages? No such thing when it comes to age gaps
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 12:33 AM
1

Lol, my mom got plenty of comments about having three kids and remarrying a younger man and ‘robbing him of the possibility to start a new family and have new kids’. It’s clear you have no idea the opinions an older woman faces are harsher than the comments an older man gets and more frequent. Hell, the dudes here would call her a post wall used up harpy or whatever. People criticising your relationship =/discrimination. You don’t lose job opportunities or stand at the back of the bus because of…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 12:28 AM

i would like to introduce you to having sex with music playing in the background
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 12:17 AM
1

Your logic is faulty because that interracial couple isn’t embraced when the partners are the same age or have an age gap. Even if he dates someone from his own race, there are still other people of different races that will discriminate him based on his skin colour. Sorry, no reasonable person gets out the tiny violins because age gaps are discriminated. My mom is 6 years older than my stepdad (which is much more unusual than the reverse), but you’ll never hear them complain they are discrimina…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 12:11 AM
1

What physical agression? There is no palpable discrimination against age gaps, just because not everyone agrees for various reasons that doesn’t mean there’s any actual discrimination. This sense of victimhood over people not agreeing with everything you agree with is very western centric you’re born black, it’s an inmutable trait. an age gap relationship? not something you’re born with. not comparable in any way
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 11:49 PM
1

i asked you to give me one example of someone getting actually discriminated for having an age gap relationship edit: ageism obviously exists but not in the way you’re framing it
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 11:29 PM
1

What’s the actual manifestation of ‘ageism’ besides people disagreeing on reddit? People of colour still suffer actual discrimination even today in the real world. This is a very poor comparison
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 11:23 PM
2

No, no matter how hard y’all try ‘ageism’ doesn’t hold a candle to racism. Yeah, the gender can influence the answers people give. If the 26 yo was a woman, men would be the one having negative opinions
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 11:11 PM

how do you think that makes sense? those people would disagree if a white or black 26 yo would ask the same question. you are comparing apples with oranges
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 10:59 PM
1

Also what I wanted to say is that they cover little racial diversity. Some of the features they list as a minus to a woman’s overall attractiveness work on other races. I found the system focused only on white people and what makes them attractive. Like the bulbous nose-nobody’s gonna say rihanna’s mid just because of the shape of her nose
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 08:34 PM
1

i agree with the principle and i also don’t think celebrities deserve to be rated high just because they are famous. but tbh the 8-9 category was totally interchangeable for me.

because no one is going to stop us
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 05:54 PM

wow the amount of effort put into that is surprising but the results are inconsistent. to me a stacy/chad lite is an 8 and the 9 and 10 are full stacy or chad
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 05:00 PM

how is a 7 considered a stacy?

depends on what kind of dog people we’re talking about. do they kiss their dogs or some weird shit like that? those are crazy for sure
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 02:54 PM

almost all pets require discipline. also i’ve had cats growing up that were very affectionate, it really depends on what an animal’s temper is like
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 02:52 PM

partly true. i have a very strict diet and i stopped craving junkfood and soda after two months. but some homemade chicken wings or an actual burger from a nice place? yes please
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 02:40 PM

come on, the stereotype used to be about cat ladies. now i can’t even have a dog without men projecting their weird fantasies?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 02:34 PM

Think of the kind of woman you would want to attract. It’s very hard to attract all women, so I think it’s more productive to find a niche and start from there

how dare you suggest the logical option

To put it simply, the good men I know are the ones that use their skills and resources in the pursuit of trying to help others. They impact their communities in a positive way. To give you two examples of men I know that I consider to be good: -a restaurant owner that always feeds stray animals and gives free meals to homeless people or sends extra ingredients he has to shelters -my work mentor that remembers the names and stories of patients he has even after 20+ years of working. He also keeps…

I’m from eastern europe, you’ll find plenty of women that have jobs related to healthcare. STEM was big for women here even in the soviet times.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 12:47 AM

The women in their early 20s you interact with were raised by the older generations. If there is any equivalent red pill for a woman, it’s that point when your mom and grandma tell you femininity is great for others, but not necessarly for yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 12:00 AM

I don’t specifically seek to date people that make less money than me, the intent is what makes the difference. The fact that they are middle class in their country doesn’t change the situation that a foreigner from a western country is much richer than them and is levaraging this.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 11:17 PM

Traveling to profit from the poor socioeconomic standards of other people is the problem
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 11:06 PM
0

Just because a woman doesn’t want to be with a man, it doesn’t mean she’s levaraging anything. If you would have told me ‘yeah but there are some white grandmas that go to jamaica’ you would have actually made a valid point
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 10:53 PM
2

How can you say people don’t complain when that happens in the west when the term gold digger gets constantly thrown? The majority of these dudes profit from the status whiteness gives them. Idk why you think there’s no critique to be given to men that specifically seek women in much poorer countries so they can leverage a relationship. Why do you think asians have acronyms like LBH?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 10:44 PM
-1

How are they not using money to attract wives if that’s the only thing that differentiates them from the local men in poorer countries?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 10:36 PM
3

models are not selected because they are the hottest women. the tall, thin frames without curves are the easiest to dress and can wear basically any piece of clothing
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 09:04 PM
0

The dudes that tell you to go after women from a low socioeconomic class don’t care wether you have stuff in common with them or not. It’s more on the transactional side. But I understand from the details you gave why the college you went to was a competitive dating enviornment. I don’t know how many people here will relate to that tbh, that’s why you get replies from people that are surprised about your experiences
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 08:24 PM
2

I respect anyone that has been a long time Tate fan. Personally I liked him since he told a dude that he’s a failure because he’s poor and he might give him money for his ill daughter if he begs. I knew someone like him is going to make it big one day
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:45 PM
1

Well genius, you’re the one not making the difference between a teen commiting something illegal and an adult engaging in illegal relationships with a teen. Have you ever been inside the head of a teenager? All the girls I know that were involved in situations like these were manipulated that they were so ‘mature and special’ for their age. That’s the number one grooming tactic. You obviously lack the basic understanding of this phenomenon because you just parrot victim blaming points
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:26 PM
1

I understand you can’t really see the background of the women you are asking out. But for me poor would mean someone that lives on welfare for example and would take the opportunity to financially secure their future. Also inviting a regular girl on a date on a rented yacht sounds very intimidating. I kinda get why they said no
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:23 PM
1

Yeah, raping someone compares to being gaslighted and manipulated by a dude 20+ older than you. Great examples, you are just deflecting the full accountability from these dudes
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:32 PM
2

So you never actually went after a woman from a poor background
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:30 PM
1

Hiw can you claim buyers remose when this is literally illegal? I had hs friends that did the same because guess what-teenagers are very impressionable Also you clearly don’t grasp what grooming is, of course victims ‘love’ it
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:22 PM
1

why do you think there are laws in place against this? because a teenager is a competent buyer? of course years later when she gains some maturity and life experience she sees this fked up situation for what it is
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:08 PM
1

nah sweaty. you made the claim that’s not grooming, don’t deflect when you can’t deliver your arguments
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 04:09 PM
1

so you don’t have any actual arguments?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 03:58 PM
3

Your example doesn’t relate to the topic. I was raised in the sort of conservative country american men dream to find their submissive wives. Then I moved to a western country. The variance in what men want and how they behave is much bigger than what a certain group of people wants us to believe. I am not dating the exception to the rule
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 03:54 PM
1

It was disgusting and the fact you are asking why an impressionable teenager that was probably not supervised by adults got in a situation like that is mind boggling. The answer is in your face. You still didn’t explain why it’s not grooming
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 03:50 PM
3

Yeah, there’s no point in arguing when obviously not all men want the same things. Best of luck to you too
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 03:08 PM
3

No one ‘fetishizes’ experience. A woman doesn’t look at an ‘experienced’ man and project a bunch of her theories on him like men do with virginity. And you’re blatantly wrong in your last paragraph. On my first date with my current boyfriend we talked about the stuff we liked from the menu of that restaurant. Made recommandations to eachother. There are men out there that don’t live in this constant state of neurosis, don’t generalise
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 02:39 PM
3

The last thing you mentioned is probably the one that any man or woman with reasonable life experience finds funny in this whole debate. It’s the weakest argument in this whole age discussion
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 02:30 PM
17

Spot on. You can tell posts like these are made in such bad faith because OP denies a woman carries a conversation (we do that daily, it’s kind of a necessity lmao), has initiative, is funny, contributes financially (this is probably the most boggling thing he said since you can’t really support a household just on one income). There is no changing views for people that have this mindset, this should be labeled a rant

It sounds like you have low expectations which is good. But I think a lot of the horror stories are avoidable if you have a tight filtering system. My rules with online dating were simple-find an enthusiastic texter and someone that plans a date early. Worked fine for me

/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 03:34 AM

mainly because i want to have a family in the future. i can’t really see how i would achieve that with a dude that thinks it’s just his turn, doesn’t open up emotionally, thinks i have to constantly be in his frame and so on

try r/twoxchromosomes i see some really dumb answers here like ‘they hate men’ or ‘because men like it’. truth is that even countries that have legalised sex work have some problems they sweep under the rug. i am generally supportive of sex work but countries where it is legal like germany or the netherlands have an influx of eastern european women that are brought there due to their lower socioeconomic situation

I addressed his point. Your mom gives you some basic advice, not a crash course on how to be a fuckboy and get every possible girl out there. Also mom gives you advice mostly about how she got with your dad, the man she married, had a kid with, takes care of and navigates life with. The examples he gave are just proof of how hypocritical his line of thinking is

We get it, women can’t possibly change or grow as people. The ‘choose better’ crowd is the same crowd that’s gonna shit on a woman that actually chose better and started a family. The sex life of a couple is a mutual responsability. It’s deeply hypocritical to blame just your mom or make some wild fantasies that she ‘gave her sexual best’ to some other dude behind a bin. Where’s your dad responsability in this scenario? How do you know their sex life wasn’t good in the beginning and after some y…

You’re just saying things she never even articulated in her post. It’s simple to reverse the question about ‘what men do to women’ and consider only the average dudes that don’t rape or assault women (just like you considered the average women). Her post is harsh because of some dumb statements like ‘men never cared about women’s issues’. Also the fact that she asks herself ‘what exactly women do to men’ doesn’t take into consideration the fact that there are women out there that treat men in shitty ways. Her wording downplays the possibility that certain men get mistreated by certain women. I’ve seen the post made yesterday by the dude that complained he ain’t getting pussy from his female friends. I don’t get why your post has to be this harsh. If you come on a forum where people are expressing their frustrations about dating and relationships, it can get pretty messy. The fact that you are expecting the opposite is pretty childish. And if you really don’t care in any capacity, it’s also pointless to be here or atempt to poke the bear. Did they encourage you to do any extra curricular activities? Because this is where I see a lot of parents failing boys. Even if the classroom is a medium that can be more repressive of certain behaviours (and that can go with girls too), a kid needs to interact with his peers in other enviornments that are less formal. And also some encouragement goes a long way
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/22 09:20 AM

I work with kids of all ages. Parents that supress some type of behaviour do that in 99% of cases because of their inability to handle that behaviour, not due to some hidden gender agenda. The point were parents generally fail boys happens from what i’ve seen a bit later

no one told you that you shouldn’t make something of yourself or be masculine in a way that doesn’t affect others just like no one tells a woman to go be a single mom. but some men really like to be sold a fantasy and treat life like a video game. if you tell them ‘society doesn’t want you to be strong/masculine/whatever’ they eat that up

This is like a girl that had a bad relationship telling other girls and women to never seriously date a man because they all take advantage of you. Some casual sex experiences are good, some are bad. Where’s the proof that being an amazing mother is not considered succesful? We can celebrate a woman CEO and an amazing mother, it doesn’t have to be a race between the two. Reasonable people don’t have a hard time understanding that or respecting women’s choices. In fact, there’s a crowd of people that is allergic to seeing women not choosing to be a mother because that’s the highest form of succes they think a woman can achieve. I understand that you’re a man so you didn’t deal with another man cheating on you, you just talked with the ones that cheated on other women. Women justify their behaviour in an attempt to offer context that they consider important. Men will try to convince what they did is a design bug you have to accept because they couldn’t help it. I listened to a lot of justifications men gave on why they cheated-while women will give you a particular reason on why they cheated, the men I personally spoke to gave a universal reason-they are males, they were neglected, the temptation was too strong, they can compartimentalise sex and love. It all boils down to biology and how men are wired to spread their seed. Probably the fact that I am a woman influenced what they told me because they were never unapologetic about it. There were always …

Because the active effort men put towards cheating generally is more off putting when I think about the matter. For example, as a woman you avoid the multiple offers you get to cheat while your men would actively seek situations where he can cheat (for example messaging multiple women on social media, going to strip clubs, going to escorts, spending money on another woman). I think that adds an extra layer of frustration. I don’t see cheating in the same league as rape. The comparison with domes…

Just because I have this bias when it comes to female cheating it doesn’t mean I support women being extempt from the consequences of their actions. Human nature is not perfect and as good as it would be for all of us to be responsible and accountable all the time, unfortunately it doesn’t happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 11:03 PM

I apply actionable prevention methods against cheating tho. This is more of a personal responsability, it’s not something that the government can do for me for example. That’s why I think the examples you gave aren’t really comparable. All the factors when it comes to cheating are under my control. I think our modern stance on cheating is a highly accepted one since there’s no initiative or discussion to criminalise it. I don’t think it’s fair to bring the fact that it was a crime in the past because we live in 2022. But since you were the one that brought the comparison, I tend to make a difference between someone that steals because they are hungry or poor and someone that steals due to their greed. I guess that’s how you can apply the same logic, by judging the circumstances that lead to an action
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 09:35 PM

Is cheating even comparable with crime because one is an illegal activity while the other obviously isn’t. I already explained in another comment that my bias comes from the fact that cheating takes active effort for men in more situations compared to women.

I already said I don’t condone cheating. But I do have a bias due to my past experiences and cheating stories I’ve seen around me. I judge people a bit harsher when they make an active effort to cheat (like messaging other people on social media for example). From my experience, that tends to be men. A woman usually turns down or avoids more opportunities so the disproportionate effort to be faithful tends to feel more frustrating.

It’s pretty obvious that between two men, a woman that cares about money would chose the one that actually spends money to improve her lifestyle. The fact that you are worth 8 figures in your late 20s makes you more financially literate and savy than the vast majority of the population. I don’t know what the exact percentage that would be, but this is going to make your dating life harder because your dating pool is pretty limited if you’re looking for someone with the same mindset. The economic situation was always unfortunate for the lower class people. This is one of the downsides of following the strict gender roles that people should be aware of. Divorce-get a prenup. Don’t be shocked if you’re gonna have to pay alimony for a spouse that stayed at home and has no means to financially support themselves after a divorce. This is another thing people should be aware of, because enforcing strict gender roles comes for downsides for both sexes
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 01:19 PM
10

What’s stoping you from following more strict gender roles? The truth is that the majority of people are not the biggest fans of rigid gender roles, so you should be aware that if you chose the least popular option you’ll have a harder time dating

The problem with using natural order as an argument is that natural order also planned for a lot of bad shit to happen to humans but we kept on searching for ways to escape that. Even if we’re not the ‘same’, we still deserve equal rights and access to opportunities which is what the vast majority of the people argue for. If the natural gender roles are what you see as the best option for you, no one is stoping you from fully embracing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 03:04 AM

What’s the relevance to the topic of relationships tho? I’m not expecting my partner to compensate for the fact that I am a resident and I went trough med school (which I did it for myself and started before I even met him). That’s not a reason to not pull your weight at home if the agreement is 50/50 and both partners work
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 12:54 AM
5

All the things I listed about lifting or self improvement. But as I said, red pill didn’t invent those. Also those don’t necessarly help you mantain a long term healthy relationship, so they are pretty irrelevant if we’re talking about what a woman gains in a relationship with a red pilled dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 08:57 PM

Red pill is not about giving women what they want in a relationship, it’s sexual strategy for men to maximise their outcome. If you want an egalitarian relationship as a woman, a red pill man is pretty useless. Not everything related to red pill is bad of course, but red pill is not the only source where you can get advice about lifting, taking care of your looks or other basic things like that. I don’t mean he never wrote the word ‘preferred’, but there is no further elaboration about what that preferred height was. I agree there is in certain situations a disconnect people have from what they want and what they say they want. But I’ve seen it go both ways-girls that wanted a guy with certain characteristics met someone that didn’t tick all those boxes and they were still interested in him.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 12:36 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 11:35 PM

This post never states what was the prefered height of the women and there is no breakdown on how that prefered height changed with the height of the woman. So if you want me to agree there is some psy op coordinated by women on reddit to trick guys below 6 ft that they can date succesfully, this was some sloppy breakdown of data.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 11:23 PM

I didn’t leave anything out. He just gave us some statistics from speed dating and one of the conclusion was the men that had the lowest rejection rates were the ones that were 1 inch taller than the woman. To any person that is more particular about data all those conclusions would seem at least incomplete because we get no info on what was the average height of the male and female groups for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 11:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 09:26 PM

I gave that example because they are both incredibly good looking. But I don’t think it’s useful to look at celebrities and draw conclusions about relationships, they have their own very specific challanges.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 08:52 PM
1

I don’t think involving parents is the best thing for your situation so first try to talk to your parents and tell them to get out of highschool kids bussines. Secondly the only real option you have is to ask her what happened that made her act like this towards you. Try to use a neutral tone. I get that you’d like to still be friends but if she isn’t willing to communicate there’s no point. Reciprocity is a big part of friendship.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 08:40 PM
4

We know men want to have sex, we’re not morons. There’s a difference between going on a date with a guy that says he is looking for something serious and one that lies about his intentions. Obviously, the first one is still looking for sex but that’s not his only goal. The second one is just lying because he wants to get another outcome. That’s the type of scenario in which women say they want honesty. Women like sex too. And they also like to make informed choices.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 07:20 PM
5

Y’all throw settling around that if I didn’t know better I would think only a couple like Rihanna and ASAP truly has a happy relationship. Height is only one point of attraction. Obviously more conventionally attractive people are more succesful, but that doesn’t mean the average people can’t be succesful if they are realistic. If an average woman expects Stacy levels of succes for example, that’s on her
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 06:56 PM
11

And in this case you would see not only men that are 6 ft are dating or have girlfriends. Most women would like a man that’s taller than they are. Google tells me the average height of an american woman is 5’4, so judging by the study he linked the man that is 5’5 would have the lowest rejection rate
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 05:55 PM

You don’t need to necessarly have some type of trauma. The starfish girl can be a great person, but she doesn’t feel sexy enough to be more free and creative in bed. You can be a well adjusted individual that never really got to explore that sexual side, I met a few people like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 03:24 PM
4

How is it so rare? Did you never see a man complain that a girl is a starfish during sex for example? This is what being sexually open means-someone that had great experiences in the past and likes to be an active participant will be turned off by someone that’s passive. People are not always as adaptable as you’d like them to be. Someone that’s sexually inhibited won’t just ‘adapt’ to that situation, there’s a lot of work to do
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 03:05 PM
4

It’s ridiculous to deny sexual compatibility doesn’t exist. Everything else might work in a relationship but if two people have different libidos, kinks or have different levels of how sexually open they are, sex is not gonna work. Just because you’ve never personally been in a situation like that it doesn’t mean it’s impossible

Vibing with someone and getting rejected after they see what you look like is pretty brutal. But I think the majority of people wouldn’t do something like that because they wouldn’t want others to say they’re shallow

How are healthy relationships gone when a lot of people have one without cheating on eachother? I’m not throwing a hissy fit, I am actually glad I have the chance to chose what kind of relationship to have and not be forced into a patriarchal cage. The ones throwing hissy fits are people that don’t want to adapt to change.

By ‘male power fantasy’ I also imagine a guy is looking at tom cruise playing volleyball on the beach and would like to be that guy that has muscles and exudes confidence. There are women with agency in male gaze centric movies, sure. But we all like to look at media that centers our perspective and I wouldn’t say transformers or alien does that for women
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 11:08 PM
1

I think there’s some truth to female gaze. As I grew up I got really bored with media where women have no character development and need a guy to save them at the end of the day. I guess that top gun voleyball scene can be both a male power fantasy and some eyecandy for women. But that’s not the only type of dude women are attracted to and I think ‘female gaze’ media does a better job at showing that women are attracted to a more diverse range of dudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 10:52 PM
1

Sorry, that’s just word salad. No matter how many much you want to blame feminists or other boogey men, no human being with healthy relationships experience will ever agree to that
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 10:36 PM
2

You’re not really getting your point across because you actually mean media that centers the female gaze. There is a lot of media made by women that is popular and just perpetuates dumb tropes
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/22 10:23 PM
1

Those are examples of media made by women but they don’t necessarly center what is called ‘the female gaze’. I get what she means because I read what examples she gave but I think it’s pretty useless to open this topic without clearly stating about what kind of content you refer to. Also it’s not like the majority of women highly select the media they consume so it aligns with a certain standard. I wouldn’t have known about female gaze if I didn’t have a special interest in the topic.

Attraction is subjective in the end. Ten people might find you charming, five might think you are good for a chuckle, you obviously concentrate on the ones that get your humour. Also my point is that grown women don’t hang posters of celebs on their walls. So unless your demographic is a pre teen that has bts posters, that argument is dumb.

I said it’s not just about sex. Sharing your life means sharing many other things with your partner, not just sex. How is it not my bussiness if my partner cheats on me? Stds, lack of trust and breaking boundaries, possibly fathering other children are obvious reasons. No woman that is healthy loses her libido magically, these are cheap excuses from men that don’t bother seducing their wives anymore.

You’re the one that chooses to view it as a traditionalist saying that implies a woman has to ‘keep’ sex for only one guy or whatever. Many men and women use the saying just to express they found an extremely compatible partner with whom they want to live their life with. Sharing life doesn’t mean just sharing sex

Basically your question is ‘why are women mad they got cheated on??!??’
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 09:55 AM

I’m just like you, I feel attraction only for one man at a time and I think it’s more productive to chanel my energy in one direction. When it comes to making the transition from talking phase to actually dating, I don’t think there are rules. The most important factors are how well you click and seeing that the other person is equally invested
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 01:29 AM

And men hypocritically use shaming tactics on women to try and dictate their dating preferences and strategies. I do have to give it to men-while women have a boring rotation of three words they use, men have a greater range. And they also have podcasts and try to use ‘science’ to justify many of the shaming tactics they have. Where’s the accountability for that? The biggest double standard is expecting the other gender to not resort to this sort of thing when your own gender still perpetuates i…

Accepting reality means that you can’t do nothing about ‘competition’. It’s always going to be there, there is always someone out there that’s better than you in some way. And a man’s exes might have been different from you, but their relationship ended for a reason. Literally people have shipped Harry Styles with his bandmate for YEARS. Just look up the insane amount of fanfiction there is on ‘Larry’. And he’s still the most thirsted dude. Women literally project that type on behaviour on him.

It’s not hypocritical to be a cishet woman attracted only to cishet dudes tho. And if I am woman that sings a Katy Perry song or dances with a friend, that doesn’t mean I engage in homoerotic behaviour, just like a dude singing Call me by your name isn’t automatically not heterosexual. Also OP ignores the fact dudes like Harry Styles drown in pussy. People have literally developed an unhealthy obsession to ship him with another man.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/22 11:07 PM

That’s because women don’t fetishize gay/bi men as much as men do it with lesbians and bi girls. If you are a bi woman you have to avoid the dudes that automatically assume you’d be down for a threesome with another woman. So generally men aren’t accepting of wlw because they are less hypocritical, they are more accepting because that behaviour turns them on.

Seeking help for your mental health doesn’t necessarly mean you have to take ‘drugs’. you were the one that didn’t give a reason to shame them so i’ll claim this one
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/22 05:56 AM

well i asked u first and i still got no answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 11:22 PM

you said that ’even if she’s deciding to take that role, it’s the fact that you are attracted to someone because she will do as you say, as a pet’. that’s the extreme part.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 10:47 PM

doesn’t matter, you said he’s got a shitload of money. it’s over for you
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 10:26 PM

what if your attractive gf monkey branches with your rich friend?🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 10:14 PM
1

the men that entertain them obviously think they are
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 10:10 PM
1

that’s a bit extreme. i could never be submissive in a relationship but i can’t deny there are some people that make it work. most of what you described is an exaggerated version of that dynamic
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 09:53 PM
1

obviously no. unless the guy has dementia or something like that
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 09:44 PM
1

thanks for assuring me i’m dating a chad
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 09:29 PM
1

you’re the one claiming they should be shamed
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 09:23 PM
1

this has been going on for almost a year, get with the times
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 09:07 PM
1

why should they be shamed tho?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 08:36 PM
2

Sure you can. Honestly I’m torn about it-the settlement is huge but also I think Bezos had access to top tier lawyers.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 08:30 PM
2

aren’t gold diggers shamed all the time?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 08:12 PM

my lovely aunties in no particular order: 1 that was the host of a food show on local tv. now she posts her stuff on tiktok and i had to block her because i cringe when she gets into fights with her ‘haters’ 1 that’s a sweetheart but married an alcoholic 1 that’s a sahm and has an online shop. pretty chill 1 that cheated on her ex husband with his brother
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 08:10 PM
2

It’s embarassing when everyone knows your husband cheated on you with your bestfriend
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 07:13 PM
1

i think this conclusion reflects reality better than saying ‘x is more emotional’. we are equal levels of emotional but we regulate and exhibit them differently. that’s why some coping mechanisms are regarded as being more ‘feminine’ or ‘masculine’
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 07:11 PM
3

you can also have pleasure sex with your partner. don’t enter a monogamous relationship if you can’t respect its boundaries
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 06:54 PM
1

Well the danger of cringe eboy thirst trap is that they’re gonna be on the internet forever
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 06:52 PM
2

if the relationship is not monogamous, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 06:38 PM
3

because sex can be casual with a stranger or fwb or a very intimate experience with a lover that knows your body and with whom you share your life
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 06:33 PM
6

yeah what a great point, equating casual sex with a monogamous relationship where fidelity is expected
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 05:47 PM
6

The point is that the way he rewarded her for that was by cheating on her with her best friend. Of course relationships are bilateral and he wasn’t a pos for the whole 20 years, but in the end what she got for doing her part was get publicly embarassed.

I think the people that see the ‘moral’ divide between the two don’t use the ‘both are using their bodies’ angle. Athletes are regarded as striving to push the limits of their bodies to display impressive strength/agility/speed and so on and they see this as inherently more valuable than dancing, especially if that dance is provocative.

It doesn’t make me feel any type of way, it’s just an interesting discussion to have. I read the methodology of three studies and just as I expected, it’s just what we label as ‘feminine triggers’. Risk taking is not the pinaccle of analytical abilities, let’s not kid ourselves here. Also the intent for suicide is higher in male patients. If everybody already knew about this, there would be no academical discourse about it in 2022. The issue is more complex than it appears and dismissive attitud…

Extreme displays of emotions as punching a hole in the wall, crying after a football game and so on. And that’s not women🤷🏻‍♀️. There is a certain standard about the emotions that women and men display-guess which gender gets labeled as showing the ‘negative’ ones. That’s why some analysis of studies from the 2000s won’t convince me, sorry. We’re supposed to have empathy for men for supressing their emotions, having higher suicide rates, getting in trouble more because they show more impulsivene…

And just because that’s a conclusion reached by studying 46 people that won’t change my pov. I’ve yet to find any piece of research that sees this topic in its entirety-if men are less ‘emotional, why do most study show they process a break-up harder, have higher rates of suicide, exhibit more agression and violence just to give a few example?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 08:21 AM

So one study has a sample of 25 people. I can take an MRI from work to a bbq party in my neighbourhood and replicate it. The article you linked gets interesting only in the end when it talks about the impact of socialisation on different cultures. I would take these findings more seriously if they detailed what they actually showed to the subjects. There is one gender that shows extreme displays of emotions much more frequently than the other but somehow that never seems to be adressed in certai…

There’s always room for improvement in any field, but I’m sure my observations about men being equally emotional but socialised to show less of it will stay the same
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 07:33 AM
3

I have trouble believing that because I’ve actually been around men my whole life and I’ve seen how they act. Also men like to rebrand ‘emotion’ when it fits them
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 07:23 AM

don’t forget the famous ‘what do you bring to the table besides looks?’
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 07:38 PM

A good chunk of my hobbies are stereotipically feminine-baking, knitting, gardening, embrodery, thrifting for clothes or looking for vintage decorations for my home. Also I like making flower bouquets, my friends know I’ll always gift them bouqets made by me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 07:08 PM

i think around the time fat models became a thing-so around 2013
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 06:51 PM

We all would like a fullfilling partnership. But if you look at divorce rates and people breaking up, it’s not a possibility for everyone. So just because someone can feel regret that it didn’t happen for them, there’s a slim chance they would have lasted with a guy that didn’t excite them enough to get a chance. People can lament and then move on doing other stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 06:07 AM
7

So if I give you three examples of working mainly with men and them using gender bias to cover their incompetence and mediocrity instead of hiring a competent woman will you be convinced a ‘dick pass’ exists?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 06:04 AM

As you can see from these answers taller women are not disadvantaged in dating due to their height. Men’s preferences are very diverse, but defeatist attitudes are not usually among them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:07 PM
3

Why do you think only a taller guy would ‘make you appear normal’? I dated dudes that were shorter than me and nobody gave a fuck. It sounds like you need to work on your confidence
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 09:50 PM

I am a 5’11 woman and I never had any problems attracting men 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 09:38 PM

why don’t you have the same criticism for men that make sex a bargaining chip too? making the promise of material goods to people in desperate situations doesn’t lay the grounds for an equal exchange
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 09:28 PM
1

my point is that she’s fat herself. or at least where i live people would call her fat🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:37 PM

yeah i emphatise with them because i’ve seen the shit people do hoping to get out of poverty
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:30 PM

I don’t think being an ‘easy lay’ will help the older women that feel depressed and unfulfilled due to being single. Especially if you end up with a dude that has the logic this guy making the post has.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:00 PM
27

Why do you care that women you find less desireable don’t want to be an ‘easy lay’?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 05:47 PM

Maybe women see OnlyFans more acceptable because the creator is in control of their work and gets more revenue. Mia Khalifa got payed dust for being the nr 1 pornstar in the world. But that doesn’t mean women are more accepting of their husbands/bfs subscribing to onlyfans because there is a very strong parasocial relationship.
