I wouldn’t say I was a “part” of it but, some of the ideas did get a hold of me and I started to believe some of their theories. But, then Trump announced his candidacy and I saw users point to him as an example of masculinity. That was the first sign that they were full of shit.

I work in a setting where I'm one on one with people too. I've gone out with three women I met at work but, they gave me their numbers. Two gave them to me on their own, one I lead to give it to me without asking outright whereas I would if I was at a bar. So, that's my rule of thumb. If they give me their numbers willingly without asking directly fair game. Not saying that's what you should do but, that's how I play it

Easier said than done. I'm working on it but, if I want something to work out than I behave like it. Getting better though. One beta bitch thing I did for the longest time that fucked me over time after time was monogamous talking/dating.
