Thanks for your advice man. I think the hardest part has been that I knew the answer but it's hard for me to enact on what I know is right. That part I need to work on for myself. Again, thanks for your input.

I guess I'm just tired of the come and go part. I'm near 30 years old and I haven't held a relationship that went over a year. I've had many women come and go, right now I'm just looking for someone that will stick around for the long run. She's young, at first she wanted to try her hand at a relationship, we dated, however things didn't go well, I broke up with her and she dated her ex-bf. Ah okay, sorry I didn't really get that reading the description of this subreddit...no worries. At this point I figure since it's already up and with a bit of comments I feel like leaving it. Also, I didn't get dumped. I dumped her, we just...established a friends with benefits type of deal.

Thanks for the reply. Have you had a similar experience in this?

Thank you for your advice...so anything further in detail on how I could resist the temptation to go back to her?

Appreciate your blunt and honest answer.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
