The BBC ran this story too, apparently women are carrying knives because men are manipulating them 😂 One woman they interviewed said her boyfriend bought her knives in a tone suggesting she can’t be held responsible for her own decisions. Pathetic.

Except it only works one way, if you read the story, it’s pretty obvious they’re both drunk and high, he can’t even get an erection, which is why they stop trying and go back to their friends. I know the whole career setback is pretty much the only reason now, but I’m starting to see it as tough luck. It’s a risk taken by that person that could go either way, just so happens that a woman can never be financially fucked by marriage. A guy takes the risk in getting married that he might lose half his stuff, why shouldn’t the wife risk being a few steps down the career ladder? Might make a few more women back down from divorce as we have had reports of in the UK

And what message are you trying to send? That murder is acceptable if your 'feelings' were not quite right when you did it? Apparently we are in a society where people are no longer accountable for their actions, could she not have reached out for help herself? There are multiple studies which have shown the different judgement and sentencing that men and women face in the courts, this is merely another disappointing example.

It's sickening, the BBC just interviewed his barrister and was insinuating that his defence had messed up by not getting the texts sooner, then putting some blame onto the police/cps for not disclosing them, with budget cuts and manpower at fault. No mention at all that there wouldn't have been a need for a trial in the first place if he wasn't falsely accused! She should 100% lose her anonymity and be charged, he is the real victim.
