I say this in the most sympathetic and well-meaning of ways, but situationships are not real and not good, especially for women and ESPECIALLY women who consider themselves to be RP or want that kind of partnership. You are being used for sex/emotional & physical validation. Please run!! You deserve better.

One thing that I think is important is how we do our hair and makeup to actually suit and compliment us. A few years ago, I was very healthy- I was slender, long hair, good skin, etc. However, I realized that the way I dressed, did my hair, and applied makeup was off putting/not flattering. I’m not sure if this is what you mean by “nun-mode,” but I made a choice to be physically and emotionally celibate a few years ago. It was genuinely the best thing I ever did! I went about two years this way, and during that time period I became so confident, became more beautiful, etc. I ended up meeting my current partner (also the love of my life, hopefully future husband :)) at the end of the celibacy and the timing seemed curated by God haha… So to start I completely support this decision o…
