Some people that respond are such assholes. The guy posted a bullet point of 10 things that helped him so that others can learn from it. What is the point of being so negative?

I am very sorry that you are going through this. It will take a while to get over this, but I think you know what has to be done. Your wife is not the same person that you thought you knew, she doesn't deserve you.

What he said. Are you living a mediocre life? You say you are "OK" with being naturally skinny, but life should not be lived that way. Are you merely "OK" with other aspects of your life? You need to learn how to live life on the edge of your comfort zone. Try things, do things, and you will be surprised about the person you really are underneath. I am at that stage now and learning something new about myself every day. You have set self-labels for yourself that are holding you back. If you are …

Have you ever lifted heavy with barbell lifts - squat, deadlift, bench press, shoulder press? Going to the gym vs. lifting heavy and very different things.

She knows what I do Friday nights. This is when I play hockey. But I do get your point. I am working on doing more social activities throughout the week. I just signed up for improv. Also reconnecting with old friends for beers/catch-up. I am planning to just go and not tell her where I go. Only if she asks, I will explain.

I only joined the community recently. Can you please explain why the other guy is always named "Chad"?

Are you suggesting, that the curfew is pointless if the relationship is in bad shape?

Everyone - this has been a very painful thread to read. I appreciate all the honest advice. I am going to see a divorce attorney to understand my financial/legal rights, and I am going to have the conversation with her before the next time this happens. No matter the state of the relationship, this is something that I will not tolerate any longer.

I definitely get what you are talking about... all about them tingles.

I don't deny it is a possibility. In fact, knowing how bad our relationship right now, I would bet >80% of girls are probably cheating in these circumstances. She has always been very vocal about how cheating is wrong (her parents divorced because of cheating) and how she would absolutely never tolerate cheating from me, so I always thought she would not be the type. Am I delusional?

I agree, I will have that talk a little further in my Red Pill journey. It only happened 3-4 times so far, but it sounds like it is becoming a regular thing. I am trying to figure out my own boundary. I am thinking she can stay out until 12am, and drive home to be back by 1 or 2am. Is this still too lenient?

So being a social retard aside, if you wife was spending Friday nights over at a friend's house after drinking all night, how would you handle it?

Thanks for the link. I agree with you. I am working on being more social, chatting up strangers, etc. For too long, I have classified myself as an "introvert" and stayed away from being social, which was just a defense mechanism to stay in my comfort zone. Trying to shift the paradigm now.

Very interesting perspective, I really appreciate the thought-out response.

Haha. I see your point. So hypothetically, if I am 5'6, 145 pounds, with no martial arts experience, I should probably stay away from the sketchy areas?

Haha. Can you explain that last part about the comedian and me being best friends? Do you actually talk to the comedians when you are there? I have never been, so curious.

Thanks for this. I am going to do this once I am ready. I only just started lifting recently. But I have been playing hockey forever so I have a decent physical foundation, and have lifted before so it's not completely new to me. I am still far away from my peak shape that I was in back when I lifted.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
