Could you elaborate on this? Specifically on what constitutes being receptive or getting validation from other guys? My girlfriend will try to make eye contact with attractive men and will smile and laugh in conversation with them in a generally friendly manner, but does not go beyond this. Is that inappropriate behavior on her part?

I'm 19, she's 18. We go to different unis and I see her roughly three times a week. I actually rarely initiate; she's always initiated everything until now. When I talked about it with her she mentioned this and how I could easily get her in the mood with a lot of foreplay. I'll work on initiating more before arriving at any conclusions.

I think you're right, I'm overthinking it. It certainly doesn't help that a quick lookup of "girlfriend started working out" on google returns all of these articles on infidelity.
