I don't care about what the people around me think. I don't feel judged by them.

This is the only good answer. The girl I'm currently dating has a very active social life and is constantly approached by guys if she goes out without me. OP should just trust her and genuinely hope she has fun. If she does something stupid... well, that's life. It's her loss.

Will she think I'm a loser? Well, do you think you are? What other people think of you is highly dependant on how much you value yourself.

I'm not saying that lying can't help you. You bet it can. I'm saying that by choosing to lie we're also acknowledging that the truth is insufficient to a certain degree. But if we're self-confident people – do we really need to lie? Or are we strong enough to be proud of what we are and to be proud of what is true? It's really more of a moral, self-respect thing. I'm not denying the possible benefits of lying.

The important part is self-reflection. Admitting that you're scared and that the fear is irrational are two important steps of self-discovery. If you'd just have read "just be confident" there wouldn't have been any deeper form of understanding how to do that. The way it is phrased in the article though... Nothing can happen. You know that if you approach someone, if you ask a question at school… Nothing bad can happen. No one will kill you. No one will hit you. The fear is irrational. The conse…

I'm glad it helped you. You are not alone in this. It's normal to be scared of rejection to a certain degree – even if you subconciously know that nothing bad can happen. The hard part is to a) realize this while it's happening and b) rationalize the situation – telling yourself you can't possibly be harmed. The usual way to do this is by diminishing the time between first visual contact and approach. So: As soon as you see her, you approach her. You can make that easier by assuming attraction. …

I'd be happy to listen to your thoughts on this. Thank you!

People might argue that I myself contributed to this decline in quality when it comes to stories and advice being posted with my last post two weeks ago (I'm the guy who left the girl alone when I realized she had a boyfriend). And if you think that, that's fine. It was a story I wanted to share where I saw a lot of potential for new joiners to learn what it means to value yourself and your own believes more than pussy. And I think there has to be a place for content like that as well. But that'…

It is indeed a novel. But still, it mentions lots of tools and techniques that you can easily include in your own approaches. His transformation and the effort he puts into describing why you shouldn't care too much just make the book part of the most authentic, honest and understanding pick-up literature I've read so far. And that's actually because it's not a manual.

Okay, thanks for the info. I was just really surprised when I read that because I really had a lot of success when it comes to meeting people and having friends over there. Way harder where I'm from. I usually entered a social circle by knowing one person of the group and the next time I may have gone out without my first friend but with other members of this group. Seemed really easy to integrate myself there. But I guess that really varies individually.

Vancouver is known as one of the least friendly cities in Canada. Wait what? Maybe it's because I'm from a part in Europe where people tend to be colder than in North America but Vancouverites were extremely friendly to me when I lived there for half a year.

This sub is as much about seduction in general (like seducing a girl into being attracted to you) as it is about self-improvement (building confidence in yourself, your opinions, your values). I feel like this sub should be so much more than a how-to guide for putting your dick inside of girls you meet. What do you get from this, in the long run? Are you really happier with yourself? Or do you want to be a stronger person as a whole, be a stronger person and accepting the fact that not everyone …

Okay, first of all: What the fuck is wrong with you accusing my ex of cheating? Who do you think you are that you think you can judge a guys ex-girlfriend after reading one post he wrote? Secondly, this IS about seduction. This is about being confident with how you choose to act, in how you choose to guide the conversation into the direction that is important to you. And you know you're being completely inconsistent when you say we're not here to judge in the exact same post where you make expli…

You're missing my point: This post is not about her or about whether or not she cheats regularly. I don't care about what she decides to do with her life, this is only about my values. And yeah, I just can't identify with not being able to respect someone because I don't know him. But as long as everything works out well for you and you're happy, keep doing what you do.

No, I didn't. She had more than enough time to say something, though. I assume they don't have an open relationship, but I could theoretically be wrong.

Honestly, I won't judge her. What is wrong for me might not be wrong for others and that's okay. I only thought about what I wanted and that's what I did.

Seriously, this whole pick-up thing. What is it about if you break it down? Is it really about meeting women or is it about finding your place in life, facing your fears and getting accepted? Or being okay when you're not being accepted? We're all on the same journey and no one knows what he's doing, so what would we be without our own values, really?

I thought about that too and a good friend that I told the story to today asked the same thing. The thing is, she would have had many opportunities to mention that and yet she didn't do it. And you know, people usually try to legitimate their actions as much as possible – especially if they involve sex outside of their relationship. So, I really don't think she is.

Everyhing we say here is speculation, really. Just wait another couple of days and if you still receive nothing it wasn't meant to be.

I actually think my reaction made her think about what nearly happened. I hope, at least.

Thank you. Well, you know, I used to share this attitude, too. Maybe it's because I'm fresh out of a relationship. I just can't separate knowing and liking someone from sex (yet?). And honestly, I felt more confident on my train ride home than I had in a long time.

I think this was really just about myself. I value trust more than anything else, I always have. When my ex-girlfriend went out, I trusted her completely and I knew I could. I just couldn't be a part of something like this, even though 15 year old me would probably smack me in the face for that, haha.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
