Welcome to the hell where you can see a system is obviously not fair but nobody cares until they’re in it or someone they love is.

The divorce process in America for men is a toned down version of how our country handled slavery. Your master is always right. She owns you and your past and future earnings. She decides how nice or horrible your life will be. And she decides when and if you see your kids.

The money grubber drug out a stupid two and a half year divorce to torture me and then in the end when we offered her way too much CS, she gave 43% custody.

I would include him until you don’t need to. If he is annoying or controlling you jus stay sorry it didn’t work out. It looks controlling and punitive for you not to include someone who is vested in the child’s best interest. Plus the more you know about him the better in case you have to dispose of his body for hurting your kid. (Kidding of course) You can always use another chat if there’s something you want him out of but speaking frankly; there’s probably stuff she has to relay to him that i…

Unfortunately I totally agree with the guys that they pay it and try to fight for the money back. You will never see the money again. But you will pay more in interest down the line for having bad credit. Welcome to getting divorced as a man in the United States

I pretty much swore it off but I will marry my fiancé. I’ve known her since we were kids and she was ethical in her divorce. Trust comes from the length of the relationship. But the proof is in the behavior during divorce. You guys marrying a girl whose ex was a “piece of garbage and doesn’t deserve to see the kids or get a fair settlement” are lining up to be her 2.0 evil abusive husband. And spoiler alert, you can’t afford to keep getting divorced. 😂

Boundaries, brother. They get us with damsel in distress stuff and rope you into things. Ultimately it’s usually more about control than money.

So classic in terms of behavior. It’s way too hard for her to take responsibility for her hand in the marriage’s dissolution. There’s one in every divorce. Take what you learn to be smarter. When or if you date, listen to how she talks about her past relationships. People without help are habitual in their failures. My ex wife for instance has been victimized by every man she ever knew including her dad. I used to be the hero. Then when she exhausted my coddling, I wasn’t enough and I became a “…

Many, many tears over the past four years. I still wouldn’t trade the hell she put me and the kids through to be back in the hell that was living with her.

If he does that in most states he will lose and lose very badly. In my state for instance if there was ever any “domestic violence” (and addiction is treated like dv) in a relationship the “victim” is completely in the drivers seat resulting in more false than true allegations tossed about hoping a sympathetic judge will glam on

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
