You realize that the majority of people who are graduating from higher education are now women, right? So at some point, there will be no choice but to have to continue to hire them because there will be more qualified women candidates than men.

it isnt equal that woman suffer with menstruation every month and men don't - so this tries to address that inequality

a HVM will have enough confidence so that having his partner pay for dinner won’t effect his self esteem or feelings of being a provider in a relationship. Any man who’s ego is that fragile that they would feel uncomfortable if strangers saw their partner paying for dinner is a walking red flag. It means they place what other people think above themselves and their relationship. Why would anyone want to propagate this unhealthy behavior?

This contributes to the problem

I don’t even get this argument. Ok, but woman spend way more on car insurance and money on taxes for prisons and judicial systems since males get into significantly more car accidents and imprisoned for illegal activities. Social science shows us that woman are more inclined to go to the doctor for their medical problems than men. This may actually save insurance companies money in the long term, as woman will catch illnesses preventatively avoiding costly treatments if the illness progresses un…

So true. I found myself in a lot of bad relationships because I was raised in a very unhealthy family.

Once I was ending a LTR, I actually spent months on and off reading about it in the RP reddit. I was shocked at first— but kept reading as a way to protect myself from these predators.

All I do on OLD all day is pick fights with disrespectful men. My expectations are so low, that I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot if I find a guy who writes in complete sentences and doesn’t offend me within one days time.

he was a cis hetero, so I guess I don’t get the reference.

What is cishet? The last guy who lied and manipulated me would always tell me what a ‘giver’ he was— at first it was okay, until I realized that I was the one doing all the giving and he was the one receiving and not giving back hardly anything at all :(

I said I didn’t like gory movies and guess where he took me? :(

I experienced this and identified it, but I did not call him out on it. I just ignored it. I was at a party and I texted him that I was at a party and dancing. He responded something to the affect of 'probably dancing in circles.' I didn't know what he meant by that exactly, but it felt negative to me. After his comment, I simply said 'good night' although it was still early in the evening. I felt like it was to my advantage if he didn't know that I knew his game. But, perhaps if I had called hi…

I'm in the same boat. I had a bit of a milestone last night when I had an OLD date who I was meeting for the first time. He's about a half hour away and we were going to meet at a place in a middle distance from both our towns. As I was showering, I started thinking 'here I go again, putting myself out there for some guy who I don't even know or have any reason to think that I will like' When I got out of the shower, I texted him that I was suddenly "sooo tired from my commute home and couldn't …

I also say that-- it also happens to be true and I legitimately mean it. if I feel compelled to add to it, I may say intelligence and honesty-- as these characteristics can't be faked.

I even removed from my profile what I am looking for. I initially put 'Seeking long term relationships only.' I'd rather not put it, so the guy can't tell me what I want to hear.

so true. I've spent hours reading through red pill posts - I learned a lot and it has helped me identify tactics men use.

sure they do-- I had one who waited over three months to sleep with me-- only months later did I discover how much of a manipulator he was.

yes, that is actually the definition of privilege- having advantage. Just being born in a country where you have access to basic education to teach you to read and write is a privilege over being born in an underdeveloped country without these resources. being born healthy and without disability is a privilege over being born disabled, etc.

It's amazing that he feels comfortable to confide in you! This is a GOOD thing. Children are going to have questions about drugs, sex, etc. If they don't have an adult they feel comfortable confiding in, they will get their information elsewhere, and it may be inaccurate which could lead to bad or dangerous consequences. Cherish this relationship with him- it is very special! For clarity, you aren't being the "friend"- you are still the adult and your role is to continue providing him with a…

There is a lot of research now on long term affects of various forms of discipline on children. If you want to really know the outcomes of various parenting practices and their long term influences. I'd suggest doing a search on google scholar. I came from a very strict home and reading the research has made me do a 180 on my personal views of what constitutes as good parenting.

This is great advice! I have behaviors that I feel are immature too, and at times, disrespectful. Recognizing the behavior is the first step! I'm at the stage where you are. I'm able to recognize my behavior. Change is a slow process. I've noticed small improvements. At least for me, these types of behaviors are deep rooted. I am not proud of them. I've made a lot of positive changes since entering into my relationship, and I make sure to recognize this and feel proud of the maturation process I…

I think you should consider yourself and if he makes you happy. You guys were on vacation and should have enjoyed yourself, but instead he blamed you and made you feel bad. I come from an emotionally abusive family and have had my share of unhealthy relationships. For me, someone turning a happy occasion into an unnecessary argument or fight is always a red flag of being emotionally unhealthy. Even if the vacation wasn't perfect, it was inconsiderate of your feelings to make you feel bad about i…

They were an important part of each other's lives and shared a history. It is normal to want to continue a relationship after, however your partner should be respectful of his relationship with you and include you in his meetings with her. If he refuses to include you, then that is unhealthy.

But that can't be right since women college enrollments outnumber men by millions. This trend is not new - it started in the 1970s and the gap in the ratio of women to men in college only grows wider through the decades.

The theory goes that women are paid 70% less for doing the same job as men. The truth to this is that a woman's paycheck typically is not lower than a man's for doing the same work, however women take home 70% less money on average in the long term because women miss work on a more frequent basis than men due to things related to pregnancy and child care.
