Today, women that choose to go into these male-dominated fields are encouraged, respected, and admired. But that's how I feel now that I'm an adult; I haven't always seen things in the same light. In respect to group privilege, the word has been abused to death in online arguments, so as to become virtually meaningless. When it comes to social structure, I prefer to say that men still hold most positions of power in our society; it's clearer. Given the necessary competence, proportionality of representation is important, especially in politics. Nor do I object to many of the feminists' supposed goals, but I strongly object to the means. The bottom line is that I don't think women are inferior to men in any way; but I also don't think that men are inferior to women. 2	Trigger Warning: Trigger Warnings I try to presume good intent until shown otherwise. I'm gotten to the point where it's hard to give some feminists the benefit of the doubt. I think the reality is that trigger-warned posts get more attention. Lots of times I'll see something like this (Trigger warning: Rape), and then the post will say that a woman was raped by her boyfriend, and that's it. 4	Trigger Warning: Trigger Warnings But wouldn't a descriptive title work just as well? And I don't think there's anything pathetic about surviving abuse. I do get irritated when "Trigger Warning" is in almost every post on feminist blogs.
