And you're failing to provide an adequate or worthwhile reply to my comment. Care to try again?

How is that an oxymoron? Love encompasses devotion, you can't have any kind of substantial love without it.

Are you really saying devoted love outside the realm of the manipulation through self-improvement and disregard for other's feelings (not saying I have a problem with either, I engage in both often) doesn't exist? That seems rather far-fetched. You're not even providing any sort of coherent argument as to why it doesn't in your post, you're just throwing around typical RedPill-style insults (r.e., blue pill swallowing beta male, obviously doesn't lift, hurr).

Alright, my bad; although you are wrong: this is about me. This is a thread about my problems with relationships and what I am doing to try and fix them and misconceptions about me can affect me being given properly relevant materials to deal with my 'issues'. I wasn't mad at you in any way for it, sorry you had to get so butthurt about me having a problem with it :\ TL;DR Thanks for being so helpful, and I do appreciate it, but you're an asshole.

This is a routine I start to play when they start pulling away from me after having previously had success with them being myself. None of this is based on drawing someone in for sex, this all from relationships.

Eh, I never play the nice guy routine, or any other routine. I'm just myself, but I guess I'm an emotional person, which is off-putting. I could blame my disorder but I don't care to, it seems like a cop-out. Some of this advice hinges on an assumption that isn't true—r.e., that I'm the stereotypical nice guy—and isn't exactly fitting, but I'll look into it anyway, I guess. Even then it isn't being an asshole, it's being distant to avoid seeming too 'clingy', etc., etc., and it's fucking stupid …

I don't look for other people to make me happy, in fact I was probably happier before my most recent partner came along... I just look to share that happiness and understanding and Love with someone but consistently all I see is the kind of opportunistic bullshit that embodies what so many manosphere guys characterize as feminine love....

Honestly the facade isn't worth it to me. I have several 'alpha' qualities myself, but they exist all of my own volition. They're there because they're part of me, just as how my 'beta' qualities are there because they're a part of me. At times I slip from one end of the spectrum towards the other, but this can be attributed to my severe case of bipolar disorder. I try to remind myself not everyone is the same but when every fucking woman I have dated has been as such, it's hard to believe. I'm …

Thanks for the reply, I'm reading through some of this now. A bit of it is familiar material, but I guess I'm also trying to ask: is there any actual love to be found with women, at fucking all? Because all but one of my experiences was negative, and looking back I have many reasons to doubt the validity of that one 'good' experience (especially considering she was the one I manipulated most to keep around, although I was point-blank with her that I did and had to manipulate her to keep her arou…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
