| 5 | Men's rights Activist gets stabbed and had his neck sliced.I don't mean to talk for OP, but as an observer this is my take. I guess the notion is that racism of any form, regardless of the recipient, isn't ok. The question of privilege, IMO, is an entirely different subject that many people disagree is solely confined to race, but rather associated with a variety of socio-economic factors that have literally plagued humanity for millennia. Rich people, or people born into a specific cast/class across the world, across a variety of races, have all experi… | /r/MensRights | 06/07/20 01:25 AM |
| 56 | Men's rights Activist gets stabbed and had his neck sliced. It's because the OP of this thread pointed out that the video and the associated attack were a result of racism not because he was an MRA, and the person that you responded to gave their own anecdotal experience of racism against them. I agree, the video, has quite frankly got no evidence to support the claim, but there are many things being tossed around in society these days with no evidence. | 3 | We are up there with racists apparently...I mean fair enough, there are always going to be fringe extremists on any side of an issue. If women want to protest so be it, as long as they don't infringe on my right to protest too. Just like the rationale with BLM, being vocal about one cause doesn't invalidate another cause. You can be an MRA and also recognize there are areas that are also unfair for women, and vice versa. People are too focused on us vs them these days. We just have one life, one planet, it can be challenging and shit. | /r/MensRights | 06/06/20 02:20 PM |
| 5 | Experimentally Verified: Women are given inflated performance feedback compared to menYup, been managing a group of engineers and have experienced the same thing. We had various amazing female team members over the past couple of years who all moved on since female engineers are so in demand to fill diversity quotas that they were able to jump and increase pay at a level my company couldn't match/justify. We had staff with 3 years of experience asking for over $90K when market average was $75K. It's tough in engineering to get high quality candidates in engineering where it seems… | /r/PussyPass | 26/03/20 12:31 PM |
