I want to scream that the illogical and fallacious arguments made by many of the female commenters only further the very stereotypes feminism tries to obliterate. But then I fear I'll be slandered by those very same tactics. Read the articles. And I did not promote any anti-male rape hysteria in my post. I've seen the False Rape Society blog. I said I believe that they are innocent but there is a proven trend of underreporting and case dismissals in Baltimore that is troubling. The State's Attorney, Pat Jessamy, here in Baltimore is notorious for not prosecuting unless EVERYTHING sounds perfect. She's in a huge tussle right now because the Baltimore Police Commissioner, Bealefeld, openly endorsed her primary opponent. Then check the series of rape stories in The Baltimore Sun over the past month which uncover a vast trend of under-reporting and downgrading of Sexual Assault and Rape because police have been focused on gun crime and aren't trained to handle the cases.
