Thanks, Your usage of the phrase 'object of your obsession' is making me think hard about my decisions. I have another question, How can one condition oneself to obsess over 'crushing at work' or 'interesting hobbies' while all others seems to enjoy 'talking', 'social gatherings', 'relationships' ?

Four years back I was in a similar situation. I used to watch TV all day (Even shows like Ellen, Hannah Montana :) ) and play COD online for the most part of the night (needless to say I was unemployed and depressed). The thing which made me come out of that situation was 'embarrassment'. I felt embarrassed to borrow money from friends/roommates to pay rent and bills. Once I got a new job I moved to a new place.
