3	Difficult choice Yeah I feel super fortunate to have gotten my 2080 super just a few months before shit hit the fan. I thought it was excessive at the time, but I got it at just the right time. I seriously considered getting a 3080 but decided it wasn’t worth it and didn’t want to fight bots for one at launch. I imagine that would fall under a similar situation as having more experience. Offering someone a higher wage because they have outstanding references is still valid over someone who has little to no positive references. It’s not guaranteed that they’ll be paid the same wage regardless of experience or work ethic. That wouldn’t make any sense, and if anyone ever got a raise then everyone else would have to get one too.
