I don’t want to play which is worse, but I do think his situation would be harder to heal from. He even mentions that decades later that people still don’t trust him. To this I would argue that men goes years, decades without this strategy working at all. The truth is “let love come to you” is much, much less effective than “actively make changes in your life to achieve the things you want”. It is in my opinion that BP thinking has to rely on “just wait” or to preach platitudes because they either don’t have any real advice, or because deep down they know their advice doesn’t actually work.

I read a really good sex book call “she comes first” that gave solid, practical advice to sex. Sex isn’t really that intuitive in a lot of ways, so doing research on what girls like - it helps to have a willing volunteer to experiment with - could help your nerves by providing a sexual “game plan” you can rely on.

If you want more than a cheap fuck, act like it. I don’t say that to insult you. I had a similar problem and grew to detest one-night stands. I made a concious effort to still show interest and attraction, but not overwhelm her.
