0	Is Misogyny Systemic? It definitely exists amongst certain groups that are very vocal online. I don't believe it's systemic, though. Just a reaction to changes that we haven't yet perfected. Imagine you've suddenly moved a pendulum to a flat, even surface after it's been resting on a slope for centuries. The social attitudes are the pendulum bob reacting to the shift. 7	Is Misogyny Systemic? I have no doubt whatsoever that misogyny used to exist systemically in the west. It wasn't seen that way at the time but looking back with current attitudes it can be seen plainly.
