dude i was in (actually still am but whatever) the same boat and you really got to abandon that way of thinking. it hasn't work, it does nothing but bring you down, and it gives you unnecessary anxiety. best advice i can offer is to keep pushing against that feeling and try not to get attached to a certain outcome. easier said than done of course but im still working on it too

Well I am trying to check myself and keep thinking positively, but its hard when you've been thinking like this for years.
