I think Harvey Keitel and Robert Deniro are kinda average. Dustin Hoffman. in fact all the big 70s actors, Pacino...Michael J Fox. Robin Williams.

They look average for wealthy areas of London and New York. Not for human beings as a whole.

According to the women of this sub, Jeff Goldblum, Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston are examples of average men. average men everybody,,,, http://40.media.tumblr.com/88b3a405748a57737059e3585337482d/tumblr_o3h6s6uC5w1uy553no1_500.jpg http://arnoldzwicky.s3.amazonaws.com/GoldblumShirtless.jpg http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/04/27/article-2315853-197B4DB1000005DC-979_634x652.jpg

I think women in general are deluded about how nice "cool" men are. The tall skinny cool guy who likes John Green books and donates to Gamergate victims is crueller than you know. Or even than he knows. imo.

I feel rally disheartened reading this..I grew up in an industrial European town where the majority of men were short and chubby...Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum???!!! Tall, slim, model looking - ok they look unique and quirky, not stereotype shave model I agree, but if that's ""average"" I may as well not be human.

ok my opinion, I think Murray, Jackson are above average, for their "striking-ness" at least, I think Pesci, CK and Qualls are below average. Rogan I would consider above average, only because big loud fat funny men like him were the biggest daters I knew as a teen. Myers I agree is average, Nicholson and Ferrel I consider above average, Ferrel is a tall jock and Nicholson is the definition of a slick man.

to play devil's advocate here, (because I do believe boys/men should take responsibility), women complain about the idea that scanty clad girls in school distract boys, but women haven't been a horny teen boys (unless trans).. So I do agree that boys have responsibility, but I can't understand the certainty women have that it's easy for them. If for example, it could be proved that for a teen boy to not look at scanty classmate, is as difficult as a woman with eating disorder to sit by a cake an…

ok.. I work in an ice rink and most of the customers are at a middle class level of society. And most of them are in long stable marriages - and you can see how. The Dads are cool - you can see how they balance being hot and confident with stable and reliable.

Sometimes your partner is the one who wants you to get fat with them - they feel like slacking off and they don't want to be left behind. Staying fit then is a rejection of the relationship.

3 things - do teasing flirting, give genuine, personality based compliments, as well as noticing new make up/hair/clothes and have realistic hopes about who will settle down with you (ie, someone a bit plain and shy like you, not the hottest girl in the group who kissed you once while drunk and lonely).

I agree.. I think my crappy face/teeth problems (was supposed to have surgery as a kid but various stuff happened) hold me back. My face looks childlike and silly to me sometimes. This has really touched me because I think of jaw surgery as being a men's problem usually.

Men are perceived as being in a position of power and abuse over women, and because of this any femosphere anger is seen as "punching up" by plucky rebels, regardless of how rude/ill-thought it is. Its an interesting analogy, not sure I want men's resurgence to be seen as hitler though.

non American here confused. I saw on a poster yesterday that the actor Michael Murray has his sexual status listed before his name, "Chad Michael Murray". Why is this not always done, such as "chad zac efron", "whore miley cyrus", etc.

that's not fair. There are cultures that bully and exclude men for not being tall white and ripped. I've lived in places where I looked normal and moved to places where I looked unusual and below the norm, and it was other people who pointed it out with laughter, not some delusion I developed myself. I feel a lot of the "blue pill" stuff is very reductive, in that it's people saying "no one in my friendship group/culture mocks men for not having perfect bodies, so that must be the same everywher…

I think of anything as RP-ish that isn't "nice guys get rewarded" kind of disney moral. I thought Roger's "path" was the PUA-hate/mgtow type, which accepts the premise of red pill but rejects the self-improvement, claiming it's hopeless/ not worth trying to play the game.

Funnily enough for me, the guys at school who were chisel-faced, top athletes, etc, were mostly conservative and had a girlfriend (usually top pretty/rich girl of the class). The guys I knew who had most sex were big loud, fat, funny party/dope smokers, Seth Rogen types.

My interpretation of chad is that he has to be a jock, and have the stereotypical aggressive go-getter personality of a star athlete or a city stock broker ETC. I wouldn't consider a charming, feminine PUA like Neil Strauss (in his glory days) to be a chad, despite them getting lots of sex. In fact, to me the Chad can be a virgin - he just has to be that kind of character - the kind of guy who potentially would be having above-average success with women if he got out there. I've known Christian …

I'm 32, short and autistic. age 18-20 I had a few one night stands. Mostly with people in my friends group - I was in a very big grunge/metal sub-culture with tons of acquaintances. Found it difficult to make any of these encounters last - felt I was cute enough for a one off encounter but too weird for anything lasting. As the "sub culture" dried up and I got older I had a few relationships. At 25 I spent a year as a PUA, trying to get my mojo back, and had a few sexual experiences in clubs (bu…

OP, my best friend is a shy, mild autistic, Indian and he had an arranged marriage with another Indian woman when he was about 30 that the parents helped arrange. I think there's more RP stuff in the media than they think. For example, Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrel etc comedies show the hero being outrageous and obnoxious to get the girl, some, like Wedding Crashers and Good Luck Chuck are textbook PUA. And most action heroes from Clint Eastwood, to Gerad Butler and all the James Bonds show a man being cocky and dismissive to get the girls. Some 80s films, like Indy Jones, Crocodile Dunde, etc are pretty outrageous in showing screaming, useless wo…

IMO people in general (especially people who are not confident enough to be in poly or FWB type things) put people in categories of, "friend I can relax with, and not worry about tension" and "exciting partner to flirt with" And once someone has relaxed into safe friendship with another, it feels weird and awkward to shift into sexiness. And if you don't do it from the start, the "late flirting" feels like, the previous friendship was a ploy, it feels creepy.

I went through the same thing a decade ago. Was in love with a girl who messed me around, she started dating one of my best friends. In fact, It happened twice. Still hurts man. But I should have stepped up and told her how I feel. At least then I could say I did all I could.

Do you know what the saddest Incel in the world is? Men who spent years learning guitar, and then realized that you have to be hot as well as skilled to be a rock god. Of course handsome alphas get dumped, just like billionaire CEOs have business failures, like Olympic athletes lose races. They're still far beyond the average person in success. I think anti-red pills weaken their points by getting too far into silly straw men, "you think tall hot guys never have problems finding women and can just click their fingers for anyone", "you think anyone who isn't a jock is doomed to be alone".

I think it's just a thing with progressive people that when someone is being demonized by conservative culture they go to the other extreme and want to praise them. For example on the first message board I joined years ago, a poster casually mentioned that he had AIDS, and everyone started talking about him like he was Ghandi or something. When I was a teen, I had crushes on a few female friends I was close to, and felt I was often in the friendzone. I believed that guys needed to do flirty things to turn a friendship into chemistry, and I needed to figure out how and get brave enough to do it, so I hung around these friends trying to pluck up the courage and drop hints. This one really hit me hard. This is truly the shame of feeling intimidated and childish compared to your partner and their exes. Sex to me, who has only had sex with him, is such an incredibly emotional and special experience, and yet I think that he must not value it or me in the same way. It could be anyone underneath him and it would not matter. After reading these comments (and there's hundreds more on the page), I don't believe jealously over n-count is gender-specific anymore. I think being jealous of a more wild partner is natural for everyone, and it only happens more in men because in the mainstream (non religious) modern world, men tend to be the less experienced partner in couples.
