Yup. I thought my wife would stick by me through my trauma, but no... she talked shit about me behind my back while I was going through the toughest time in my life. The 9 previous years where I supported her and gave her anything she wanted with freedom to do whatever she wanted meant nothing.

Very similar to me... finalized July 2021 and been separated a year. I live in the marital home, which was freshly remodeled in July 2020. It was supposed to be our forever home and has many upgrades she really wanted. I like the home... colors are masculine, all the renovations are great. I relate brother. I panicked at her cheating, was calm initially but was then reactive to her reasoning as I didn't feel her unmet needs justified her actions in our scenario where I was deep in my first-ever depression. Therapy lasted 3 months before she filed. Defense mode kicked in through our divorce, then anger mixed with a little denial while I had my first fling with a hottie as we approached mediation 6 months after filing. Finalized in July, and here it is December and I'm worse than ev…

What is the detriment of sending it? It would give her too much satisfaction of ego?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
