I have the exact same boundary around weed use. I can't be upfront about it anymore because so many men have lied to my face about it. I had a LTR where he lied to me about it and hid it from me for over a year! Never let men know what your expectations are. Let them show you who they really are first.

Lmao as if the police will even show up or care. Unfortunately street harassment isn't a crime, so at least in my city they ignore or brush off calls like these (had a woman in my city's sub make a post about this happening to her recently).

I have yet to meet a guy worried about gold diggers that actually has resources to attract a gold digger. In my experience guys with wealth flaunt it and are more than happy to use it to attract women. If anything, they're thrilled that there are women who can be bought.

One of the main reasons I have been anxious to find a partner is because I want kids, and there's a clock on that. It's dark, but something that helped me come to terms with the idea of potentially not having kids was reading in depth about the realities of climate change, and realizing that I feel skeptical that my future children would have a good life. The other thing that helped was taking a hard look at the realities of motherhood with an unsupportive partner. I now really and truly underst…

What is it with these crazy male abusers in the media that just attracts pickmes like flies to old food? They are uncomfortable with the idea that someone could hurt them, so they instead decide that people who get hurt must have deserved it.

It truly blows my mind every time I think of this. All the mental energy and time we spend on curating products and routines and styles that work for us! It seriously takes like a decade to get good at it, maybe less if you're genetically blessed.

dry their hair with a towel I have purchased special hair towels to be gentler on my hair. Meanwhile, most men don't even have more than one regular bath towel clean at a time. Then I have various shampoos for different needs (purple, hydrating, clarifying), hydrating treatments, heat protectant sprays, etc. Such a radically different life experience.

Yes yes yes! This is something I'm paying CLOSE attention to going forward. If you think about it, all the cultural phenomena people love to hate or that are considered guilty pleasures are predominantly popular amongst women. Last year a new video game came out from a series that I had played since I was a child, and was so so dear to me. I was excited for literally years for the new game. When it came out, I bought my bf at the time a copy because I was so excited to share it with him. When we…

Again, everyone should look up their local laws if they're being harassed. But in my case I was surprised to learn how bad it had to be for even a protection order to be issued.

If I were to out more than one, no one would believe me (and women that only out one obviously are not believed either), and it would further traumatize me. I hate how true this is. A scrote elsewhere on reddit recently told me what they think about women who've been assaulted more than once. I won't repeat the sentiment, but it's not good. Every woman probably has a mental list of men they would call out if he ever received public acclaim. I know I do.

Obviously depends where OP lives but in a recent similar experience I had, I learned that this alone is not criminal harassment nor even enough to get a protection order. Sadly.

My first sexual partner and first boyfriend would forceably hold me down so I couldn't get away when things were heating up and I would tell him I didn't want to have sex. We lived in the dorms, and I'd have to physically fight him off (not in a playful manner) until I got out of his room. So many fwb's over the years have pressured me to invite them over to have sex when I've just said I'm not feeling well. Like, post-surgery, or while I had a painful UTI. Women are objects to them.

Interesting, this is not the social norm in my friend group. I send and receive texts at any hour. It's easy to set up do not disturb policies on your phone to avoid being woken. My sleeping and work hours are highly variable so I wouldn't expect anyone to know that a 9am message is much more disturbing to me than a midnight one.

I'm not petite and I'm 'only' a D, but it's nearly impossible to find a decent sports bra. Every time I buy athletic clothes I throw in a few sports bras to see if I can find any winners, and they're almost always unsupportive and terrible. Never occurred to me how wild that really is!

Eek, I don't think I necessarily agree with this. Maybe sus if he only texts late at night. But I'm an extreme night owl (dinner at 10 or 11pm, bed at 2 or 3am) so those are actually prime texting hours for me. Also. I saw this discussed on another (larger main page) sub and the comments were VILE. Scrotes were furious because they saw this as a way Tinder will be even more "unfair" for them, because OLD is already soooo hard for them. Yes, they feel victimized that they don't have easy access to sex. They were also mad that Tinder was addressing a problem women have and not doing anything about their problems (ex - why doesn't tinder weed out the onlyfans "whores" instead). Yes, they were claiming that sex …

The sheer number of men with "high school" or "some college" (read: one class at community college) whom make stable livings in salaried positions is astounding. These are the men who put "school of hard knocks" in their dating profile 🙄

What is this plague of abused women in the US who can't fucking run away because of a “joint account”?! Absolutely correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it works like this. A joint account would be a better thing for an abused woman (who is not working), because she then has at least equal access to the money, instead of no access. The key is for every woman to have her own private account, regardless of whether the couple shares a joint account or not.

It was my understanding that community property laws generally protect women. Since so many women give up careers to raise children, this allows them to leave the divorce with assets. Men constantly moan about how unfair divorce is to men, so that makes me think these are indeed protections for women. I do currently know one woman who is trapped in a marriage with a LVM who has racked up absurd amounts of credit card debit, even though he has a good job and they both work. But I think I'd prefer…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/03/21 08:35 PM

It depends on the state, and when the money was earned. I know that people can get into a lot of trouble in a divorce if they took (edit: the majority of) assets from a joint account before a divorce.

WOMEN talk TOO damn much!” belief can go die Yes, especially because it's been studied. "A review of 56 studies conducted by linguistics researcher Deborah James and social psychologist Janice Drakich found only two studies showing that women talked more than men, while 34 studies found men talked more than women.[6] Sixteen of the studies found they talked the same and four showed no clear pattern."

This applies to orphaned children as well. A wonderful family I knew growing up adopted twin toddler girls from abroad. They eventually had to send them back because they were distressed from the minute they met their adoptive father, and were not coping. They were traumatized by men to the point that it was cruel to make them be around one.

I've been a bit guilty of this in the past. Not full on planning our future wedding, but just excited and smitten and thinking about all of the things we could do together. I realized that my default assumption was that the men I met all had good intentions. Now I know I need to vet them more to find out the truth.

And Jeff Bezos's ex just married a high school teacher, has committed to giving away at least half her wealth (which she fucking earned alongside Jeff), and in her first year of having sole control of her wealth, became one of the top annual philanthropists. But lumping them in with the venomous ones makes them feel attacked and we gotta protect their feelings! /s Btw, I had someone try to tell me that 3% of men have committed sexual violence and that they're repeat offenders causing all the problems. He couldn't provide a source. I did like two minutes of searching and found that 16% of college aged men self-report that they've committed assault. Imagine how high that number becomes by age 60, and then include the guys who don't admit to it.

How would a coworker find out? I'd just say I was missing x body part or something, so there's no possibility of unsolicited advice on fertility. Definitely I like to confront these issues without lying whenever possible and let people sit in their discomfort over how I've chosen to live my life, but if lying about this means succeeding at work, I'd do it in a heartbeat! But I'm not actually CF so this is a hypothetical to me. You do you! 😊

Imagine if a quarter of that effort spent on being defensive over how women react was directed towards the men who are the root cause. I love their excuses for this. "I can't help because all my friends are good guys." "Abusers are deceptive and no one can identify them!" "Well I have my own problems to deal with!" "What are you doing to help men abused by women?"

If I express to my partner what makes me feel most loved and they still choose not to do those things, I know that they don't really care about or respect me. Omg, the monologuing is real. When I'm in a group of women having lunch at work, the conversation tends to bounce around and flow nicely. When a man joins, all of our eyes gloss over as he drones on for far too long. Pretty disturbing how one man can feel so comfortable totally dominating the time and attention of a whole group.
