3	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap Yet again, you read only what you want. I love the fact that here is a safety net, medical care first (as i said). I just think the system is too much. It should only go to the people who really need it. I for one welcome falling birth rates. Why? Overpopulation is the single worst problem we face in our lifetime. In Belgium you get 92.03 Euro a month for a single kid, if you make a second you get 170 euros a kid, if you get a third its 250 euros a kid! 2	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap Yeah, I'm from Europe (Belgium). We do have compensation for parental leave, medical care, but not for care of elderly people. I only really like medical care. But that is my opinion. Parental leave compensation should only be given to the people who need it. Now even the highest paying jobs (male AND female) get compensation, which is absurd and this along with other overly socialistic rules makes our tax system the highest in Europe. Yay! 5	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap It is absolutely not the case that women have it easier in life, but I don't think that taking care of your children or parents (wich men also do, although in lesser capacity) should be paid. If you spend less time at your job and you produce less (in total not per hour), then you should earn less. That's what the comic says. We love our moms, daughters, grand daughters.
