I just saw the Gillette ad. It's disgusting. It basically screams "only men are bullies, only little boys fight, only men do the bad things showed in this ad!!!" That's the message I got from that ad. Yes, I felt uncomfortable while watching it. I'll make sure not to buy Gillette razors anymore. Also, I love this post!

As a trans man on testosterone I can say personality doesn't change because of different hormones. My personality is the same it's like it was before being on testosterone therapy, when estrogen was dominant in my body. Didn't like or feel comfortable in a female body, that's all. That's what gender dysphoria is. I never had any privilege, actually. I never lived as a woman. Having a female body doesn't automatically make you live as a woman socially. And when you're transsexual you really have no privileges just discrimination, bullying, being mocked and ridiculed, etc. Not every trans man lived as a woman or was socialized as a woman before medically transitioning.
